The Salutation 

In Silat Fitrah the Salutation acts as the bridge between the Syllabus and Tari. It contains all of the key principles. The words that practitioners learn and focus on mentally as they move through the sequence are deliberately artfully vague - they have whatever meaning(s) the individual gives to them. Focusing on them whilst moving serves a variety of different purposes, as the student progresses in their training.
