It's one of the world's most recognisable images of our crucified Lord, and a copy of it hangs above the altar in our own church. Well it's Called The San Damiano Cross or Crucifix Because of The Church of San Damiano and how St. Francis of Assisi was Rebuilding the Church of San Damiano. Jesus: Francis Rebuild My Church.

But why is the Cross not central in the window?

Hi Patricia. The cross is central in the window - it looks off centre, because the camera is off centre so that people can use the main aisle. If you look at some of the videos from November, when the church was closed due to lockdown, the camera was placed in the aisle and it gives a better idea what the church really looks like. Thank you. I watch your sermons every day (used to go to church once a week, I now watch you every day, so something good came out of lockdown). You explain bible reading succinctly.
