Thank you Fr Stephen a reminder for me too of praying in la Basilica Santa Chiara,seeing her clothes she wore and walking in the streets of Assisi and praying too in front of the tomb of St Francis,

Beautifully told ... thank you. Just a little note: some Franciscan scholars and teachers have said that Clare and her sisters did not immediately enter cloister, but nursed the lepers and the sick, also taking on manual labour, giving alms and occasionally begging when no paid labour could be found. They think she went into cloister around the time of Francis’ death.
