The Scene That Nearly Got Cut | Good Omens | Prime Video

The Good Omens crew had, for the first time in history, received permission to film at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. The scene was originally supposed to be the successful first week of Hamlet, with over 500 extras in costume, but the Good Omen's team were only given 5 hours to film. They realised it was impossible to shoot, and so Douglas Mackinnon Neil Gaiman rewrote the entire scene and both agree it's one of the best scenes in the series.

I'm so glad it wasn't cut!! They're so cute being a couple pretending to not be a couple....To be, or NOT to be, that is the question! Lol but it's also because they talk about the Arrangement again 😃💕😈😇💓

The stockings are amazing. Also Hamlet has always been my fave play, I love that it had a cameo in the show!

if you watch 0:19 in the background, as Crowley goes to enter the theatre, he pushes the gate instead of pulling it. Enjoy.

I find it so hilarious how Crowley is ironically bored out of his mind, considering Tennant has played in Shakespeare's plays before

Dr. Who and Captain Picard in Hamlet on PBS is some of the best Shakespeare I've ever seen.
