The Collider/Schmoes Know crew are great sports about the whole thing, but I do take issue with a couple of the things Kristian Harloff says here:
At 1:07, he says they hate everything and that he's never heard them talk good about any Star Wars movies despite claiming to be fans. Apparently Kristian forgets the Plinkett Star Wars reviews, in which the original trilogy is praised several times, and their Half in The Bag Episode for Star Wars The Force Awakens, in which Mike and Jay are very positive about the movie.

If I remember right Jay seemed a bit uncomfortable and didn’t fit in, probably coz he actually has opinions on stuff. Jay actually mentioned it in one of their Nerd Crew videos one time. That's, I think, the worst part for the Schmoes. RLM will spend six hours in a night watching the worst movies made by man and still find entertainment where entertainment can be found. Well said. It's aggravating when people make quick assumptions and dismiss their entire enterprise. I've seen someone accuse them of being "low effort". What? Any RLM fan sees how much love they put into their craft, that's one of the reasons they have so many fans it's a bunch of film fans living their dream. Just like Angry Video Game Nerd who has video footage of him as a child reviewing games, RLM has video footage of themselves making movies as children. When you see that kind of thing that's impossible to fake you feel endeared and happy for them. If you're shallow then you never know that and dismiss them as "miserable" as they said in this video. Seems like a hand wave. The redlettermedia nerd show parodies are not just funny, they legitimately point out hypocrisy that the Schmoes Know Show doesn't address: these youtube channels water down opinions for sponsorship, wear nerd brands, over-analyse and take these products too seriously. Ultimately RU-vid is saturated by all this film talk, we need to remember to support film journalists we can live with.

only one guy gave 13 hours a flawless score.. the others thought he was weird for doing that, but RLM likes to dissect everything... when you dissect a tiger.... and keep cutting it in pieces... it's not a beeautiful animal anymore... its filled with blood & guts, which isnt a pretty picture. RLM always keeps cutting till they found blood, which is not how you enjoy a film.. thats why they suck and are actually unrelatable. they don't get enough views fro doing that, so they will attack collider, who did nothing to them, and scold them for making a living out of these reviews and shows... how dumb is that... i get that the rlm-crew flip burgers everyday from 9 to 5 to feed their childern, but thats not colliders fault right?

This was such a word salad, and it took some weird turns in it. Prescribing a right or wrong way to enjoy a film is actively a more unrelatable thing to do than dissecting a film. And I mean, they get a lot of views for their film dissection, particularly the Plinkett stuff, so the notion that they are hurting for views or are lashing out is... weird, I guess? Also, isn't it a little ironic that you're lashing out at RLM by accusing them of lashing out?

RLM are the only guys who actually saying their opinions about stuff and have an opinion worth a fuck to sit down and watch. The RLM guys love empire and new hope and half of return. They enjoyed The Force Awakens. They gush and gush about hundreds of movies they love. I’m not picking up on any passive aggressiveness. I think they’re just recognizing that RLM is doing their thing, and that’s just the way the internet works. If anything, I think it’s the RLM fans who put way too much stock into this whole “feud.” Especially when there is none.

Maybe, however the assumptions made at 1:03 that they "hate everything" and just something odd with his behavior in saying that. But that could just be me over analyzing people's behaviors again... I never knew a feud was attempted to form, but with videos like this (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2qpT7bWSgwg.html note the title is a bit hyperbolic and actually not sincere, but I get it on how Stuckmann's tone sounds like for the video to, somewhat, be titled that) gave off weird vibes like something was going on and the comments from fans of either side seemed to inflate it as usual.
