Lol in my primary school I had to be an 'office angel' when the office person had their lunch break my an my friend had to watch the office. Its complete boredom til a phone call comes and that rarely happens!

I’m so glad by receptionist is super nice, if a phone gets handed in she’ll put it on charge for you, she washes out all the lost property water bottles and lunch boxes and just generally super chill when you’re late and need to sign in
There was one really nice receptionist at my secondary school and one absolutely evil one. I once walked past the evil one snogging one of the caretakers behind the desk and I've never fully recovered tbh.
The receptionist of my school acted like that until the school hired a second receptionist. Never heard a single nice (nor civil really) thing from her in 4 years and out of nowhere starts complimenting all students 😂 at that moment we all knew her job was on the line Edit: spelling
the poor people who had moody ass receptionists, mine were absolute gems, the main receptionist was so sweet and was the main first aider and i’m in sixth form rn and u have to walk thru reception to get to sixth form and everytime i came in with a starbucks she would always ask where hers was lol (obvs she was joking) but she would always make an effort to start a convo and i’ve acc bought her and her assistant receptionist a starbucks too, her assistant tho is only like 6 years older than me but she’s such a baddie, like she always chats to me about her life, and her bf, and when it gets to winter she starts taking a hot water bottle with her everywhere 😭 it’s gotten to the point where if i’m having a bad day i just sit in reception and they just email my teacher saying i’m in a meeting lol
@@sameoldsuits I experienced stuff like this all the time before I knew I had adhd as a kid, getting singled out in front of all the other kids was awful, despite trying really hard trying to prevent it.

Anyways, here a brownie recipe. Ingredients: - 1 cup unsalted butter - 2 cups granulated sugar - 4 large eggs - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour - 1/2 cup cocoa powder - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional) Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan. 2. Melt 1 cup butter, mix with 2 cups sugar. 3. Add 4 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla; mix well. 4. Sift in 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa, and 1/4 tsp salt; stir. 5. Optional: add 1 cup nuts or chocolate chips. 6. Pour into the pan, bake for 25-30 mins. 7. Cool completely, cut into squares, and enjoy your brownies

our reception ladies are absolute gems. i’ve been in there so many times they literally know my name and offer me biscuits every time i go in😭😭 i love mandy😻😻

I’m so happy the receptionist at my school is so nice because if something is dropped off or lost she will call the student to the office instead of being rude about it
When I was in the care system, I was placed in a group home that was a 40 min drive away from my school (this is in high school), due to the other kids, I was always late (school knew the circumstances and i never got bollocked for it), the receptionist, Miss Kingly, would give me some kind of sandwich for my breakfast and would walk with me to my classroom so i didnt feel embarassed, she was lovely ❤
My daughters school has this thing called runner duty, the children love it. 2 y8 sit by the office half the school day and get handed things to go around the school and hand out
