ॐ (Om) is the word which has a frequency exactly same as the vibrational frequency found in all things throughout nature (432 Hz) and no other word in any language has the same frequency. In Hinduism, all the mantras start with ॐ and it is the basic sound of the universe, chanting it symbolically and physically tunes us into that sound and acknowledges our connection to everything in the world and the Universe which has a affect on our mind and body. The whole system of this universe is based on vibrations and planetary movements. Even today the Ancient Indian science of seeing future of an individual based on planetary movements is alive and spread across the world. Another great example of science in Hinduism is the "Panchang" which is a type of Hindu Calendar and tells exact dates for sonar & lunar eclipse, the months exactly tell the behaviour of the moon and weather. It also tells that which time in a particular day is effectively positive for a person having some zodiac sign. Yoga and meditation are another gem for this world which do not need any explanation. But Yoga is sometimes misunderstood by the westerners as physical exercise but it is something way beyond this and a practice of having complete control on mind and body and uniting one's soul with the divine.
But Hindu spirituality is all about personal individual experiences and self realisation . It is never about belief . The Abrahmic faiths are actually belief system . Where they believe their holy book as it is without any methods( dyana , yoga , upasana , sadhana, tapas ) for realising if that is the truth . They have to believe without questioning .
You must counter them when they accuse you of blind believers . Ask them if they believe in their holy books . Most of them blindly believe in bible and Quran . Non - believers where persecuted in these cultures . While Hindus are seekers of the ultimate truth .
@@preethishetty6179 Good way to shy away from your own identity dear...we are the ones who feel pitty to acknowledge our own heritage and history...all what you have written seems good to read and good to feel but truth is that only hindu in this country is Secular and no other religion...
@@tjk4929 well if you want to be secular with bullies that’s your choice . I have a choice to question those who will call me Andh Bhakt . That is not part of my Hindu tradition . Let me tell about hindu temples. 1. The pandit blows conch shell and it's sound is scientifically proven for recovery from many health issue 2. People ring huge bells in temple which also product sound vibration and aids in mental health recovery 3. People chant mantras in temple so you already know what mantra can do in your body 4. People sing Bhajan together which improves the bond with each other and also mental state of mind 5. Temples used to serve food to poor people in Ancient times from their donated fund. Also the funds were used in national disaster. Now only few temples do that
@@anomy8493 Yes. Temples need to given back to local people of that area to handle. No one should have authority over temple. People choose their area Brahman and other saints who maintain temple. People can also voluntary work in temple maintenance. Every day Bhandara should be there. Also donation should go to old age, orphan age, gurukul and some needy poor guy hospital surgery etc. for gurukul education too
Whenever I'm feeling like I'm nothing or in a bad mood I has a habit to visit temples because by visiting temples I can feel some positive energy 💜✨ சிவசிவ
The henna's cooling effect on hand is sooo true. My hand literally starts freezing after applying it. It's especially good in summer if using natural one. We had a tree from which we used the leaves for henna.
1st of all a huge respect from deep core of my heart to you dear brother! We love you and we love your work, we will support you! Only few people are able to understand our culture, and I must say you're the benchmark who is doing so!

You left many especially from Tamil nadu. For example, we clean our front of our homes with water and turmeric water which will kill bacteria. We do oil bath every week to reduce body heat. We sit on floor in seated position while eating which is a very good habit even thought this habit is dying recently due to westernization. We keep sandal bindhi which will cool on the exact pressure point. We use fenugreek when we have stomach pain and also we apply oil on belly which helps us better

@Srajan Agrawal Each and every languages in the Indian sub-continent have either emerged or have highly influenced from the Sanskrit language. In that sense, would you like to call that phrase is from marathi/tamil/telegu/bengali/punjabi/odiya/kannadi/malayalam/bhojpuri/urdu language? I hope no, cause the phrase is in sanskrit language, the mother language of all the languages.

Benjamin, appreciate how you present facts humorously. Great work. very impressed that you have CHOSEN to stay in Bharat for more than 2 years. Some of us Bhartiya foreigners, we can not "go home". Honestly I have two motherlands. But I owe a lot to America as I have grown in numerous ways that would not have happened in Bharat. The happy medium is the internet as in spite of being away from Bharat I can still work on spiritual growth. Namaste from a Bharatiya American
turmeric ginger onion and garlic all have medicinal properties but they should be added in appropriate quantities... like a medicine not pumped in dozens. otherwise both garlic and onion increases rajas (restlessness of the mind excessive thoughts chattering).
Doing namaste and avoiding handshake is not just about protecting oneself from any infection but it's also related to "ENERGY LEVEL", we should avoid energy exchange, don't know what kind of energy other person is carrying, it affects our energy and aura
Namaskaram... As always nice stuff Ben... Well... practices like consuming food and water from copper and mud vessels, using cow dung outside homes acting as bacteria repellent, drawing rangolis in front of your house everyday(in South India we use rice flour to draw rangoli which acts as ant food), wearing clothes made of complete natural fibre(unlike leather and human developed synthetic materials), eating purely vegetarian food(iam a vegetarian and many Indians are... But there is also a significant population eating meat) which keeps you calm and also has many other benefits..... So on and there are many of them.... Anyways you'll always have my love and support.
The man in the picture 1:55 is (MGR) M.G.Ramachandran he is a actor, has given lot of super good movies with lot of action sequence, who turned policitians, he has done lot good work to people and people still loves him unconditionally 😍
Mr.Benjamin thanks for your research and info that u broadcast to the world india is not underdeveloping country its developped country india is way of living
Great video 👍, going to temple can make you feel relax as when you go to temples you meet new people as of now everyone is stuck in their homes due to Covid they might feel little disturbed or depressed but when you meet new people, you get the feeling that you are not alone. Also most of the temples are made of stones which can help to calm your body while doing meditation.
We have it from a flower, that contains seed which when dried and crushed gives this Color.(I don't remember the name)we don't use sandalwood here... So,it differs with region
I saw a report on Indian civilization which is said to be existed around 56,000years, based on the things which are excavated by an Indian archaeology.
You are so thorough Very impressive I have an extensive knowledge of Indian customs and the logic behind them and I truly appreciate your honest and work behind these videos
The rod dot on forehead called as kunkuma. It should be made by turmeric or the saffron flower. But there are many duplicate items now a days. It causes problem. But the original kunkuma is really healthy.
Nice video Ben👍👍👌👌👌..... I really appreciate the amount of research u do in making the video..... Truly u knw more abt India than most of us...... Keep up the good work👍👍
Benji, A child was walking with his father and shouted "Look a elephant", the dad looked at the tree and found a elephant carved. Now which is truth? is it a A Tree or A elephant? If you think it is a god who resides in a temple, then it is. If you think it is a source of positive energy then it is a science. For example, the brahadeeswara temple of tanjore, the temple gopuram(Tower) does not have a shadow. hmmm 260 feet straight rock does not have a shadow??????????
Don't lie. I have spoken with Thanjavur ASI Civil Engineer. He said, its a rumour. The shadow of the temple falls on itself only during 3 hours, that is from 11 AM to 1 PM
Today there is so much westernisation in India so people are thinking that doing love marriage is a class of educated people which from my point of view is not correct..... We should follow those cultures we are actually beneficial not that it looks classy...
No offense but you really think that arrange marriages work and not love marriages? When it comes to relationships and marriages, things are unpredictable. Based on what you thought so?
Marriage is a choice... if u dnt have any specific partner on whom u r invested go for arrange marriage but if u had already committed to someone stay true to the commitment you gave to that person by doing love marriage... There's not a single link to this to being classy and educated!
@@abantisarkar2055 Absolutely I agree with your point but what I find wrong in today's generation is they have multiple sex partners like the west. As in not all of them but yeah it is on the initial stage. Like most people are on Tinder not for finding love but for Hookups or having a casual sex with a stranger or they get committed to someone have sex and when things don't workout between them they breakup and find another partner. And I think I don't need to tell the disadvantages of having multiple sex partners. So yeah I think this needs to change. What are your views?
@@dharana2921 here the matter was about marriage. Marriages too are unpredictable like relationships. Regarding sex, in India too people have extramarital affairs and extramarital sexual relationships which are consensual and all these things were prevalent much before social media or dating apps came into existence. Matter here is of different context. We Indians have these habbit to always take pride in our culture and sanskar but certain things were present in our society (under closed doors) much before social media apps.
Thank you for the video sir, very few people understand our culture. And except those few people, few Indians are also excluded for the understanding of our culture
Those sounds of bells at temples and sound of om chant create vibes which regulate brain and body fluids. As we all know different sounds (frequency of sounds) create different patterns in water and sand.
Hi Benjamin. Thank you for the video. Keep up with the great work. Take care.👍🏿 PS: At 1:45, Regarding number 3, Vanakam/Namaste has another scientific significance. When the fingertips are touched together, extra impulses are sent to the brain which help to remember the person’s face and the name better. That’s why it’s useful for students to do this while writing exams to remember what they studied better. At 5:42, Regarding number 7, lighting up fire for prayers was also originally meant to kill bacteria apart from the aforementioned reasons.
One of the biggest reasons Here we have a tradition "If some one dies in house, then they should mourn for 13 days and in that 13 days they don't have any jovial or gathering in the house, And also if any one do come to visit u at that time of distress, they need to bath once they reach home." Sounds like "Quarantine" And supporting that, the house member should not be part of any big celebration where crowd may gather of be part of the gathering for next 1 year. It's a full proof "quarantine" Becoz in ancient times people don't know how the person dies. So in order to limit the spread.
INCENSE STICKS OR DOOP STICKS ARE HARMFUL AS YOU TOLD, BUT WHICH WERE MADE WITH CHEMICALS AND STRONG ESSENCES. BUT ACTUALLY INCENSE STICKS WHICH ARE MADE UP WITH COW DUNG IS SAFE AND HEALTHY. We get red natural color from beetroot and not rose. The inner-santum of temples, where the primary idol is placed, has the strongest vital force or Prana. When one feels this force he/she gets goosebumps !!! Along the 79E degree longitude many temples of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva have been built centuries ago. In ancient India, this was considered the 0 meridian.
