I came in EVE due to these battle stories. After 3 years i can finaly say : "I was there". Feels good xD Btw can't wait for the next fight ! PS : the lag tho, took 2h to reconnect after a dc, that was terrible.

@Eve Online I've only seen one mainstream article about this historic world record battle. I really hope that your marketing team is much more prepared to get these kinds of stories into mainstream media newspapers the next time around because stories like this are what fuels the player count for years to come.

I was there. We fought as much against the tidi as we did against PAPI. There were 150 Titans on the Keepstar at one time.

This was my first major battle and it was glorious!

While I do think it would be cool to be in an epic battle like this, the smaller ones without needing tidi seem to be more fun.

Yeah, finally SCOPE reports about the war :) Strange phrasing though: "6500 pilots fought over 12 hours" - it have been more pilots and only the peak in the system was 6500. Also, how can you not know if this was THE largest battle or not? You do have the logs, don't you? ^^

Battles like that would actually be fun if it weren't for time dilation I'm guessing those 12 hours was probably only like 30 minutes of actual combat stretched out in ultra super slow motion also say what you will about goon swarm but those bastards have the entire damn galaxy attacking them they are way outnumbered and they are still fighting admirably you have to respect that a large fear that I have is that if they do take out the goons, the Chinese will quickly fill the vacuum and nulls brainless botting Will exponentially increase because that always comes with them.

I was there. And that was about it, I literally could not do anything while PAPI apparently had no problems locking me and blowing me up. I am afraid they got server priority. Interestingly, the server did not go offline at 1% keepstar hull to ensure it is onlined.

I was there fighting for the Imperium and the tidi was awful, guns would not function and shields would not start when targeted.

XD but I jumped into a system just poking around to see where I was in new Eden.......and I found and fight Might not have been big! But it was a battle none the least

It should be noted keep star 2 cost Goons about 1.5 trillion to destroy and Pappi lost about 500 billion (keep star included)

P.A.P.I's main fleet doctrines and supercapital fleet couldn't defend a keepstar against our ratting ships while enjoying a 3 to 1 advantage, and they think they'll be able to destroy one of ours when we field our main doctrines and supercaps.

As long the goons have there hisec backup ships you wont get even thier keepstars dont want to know how many ships they have per keepstar and how many titans there have in there und are building with those rss out of delve

I'm not in null but, I just don't get it, if TiDi is what they say it is that by no measure = fun to me. I could be missing something tho. the most important thing as people we have is our time and sitting for 12 in TiDi seems mind a boggling a wastes of it. Just curious home many of these keepstar strcutures do they have to go thru? I get CCP loves it cause of the isk sink and all. Do any of the groups pushing this work for CCp can't just be about egos in a space game right?
