The SCP: Secret Lab Iceberg EXPLAINED 

It would be cool if the tutorial level came back as a facility guard trainig room, that would explain the shooting range and other stuff.

I think the reason LCZ is farther down than HCZ is because, all the testing with SCPs actually occur in LCZ, and since testing can go wrong, its farther down so that both more tome can be given for security to either get to LCZ or set up defenses, and so that its farther away from EZ/surface, while HCZ is where the SCPs that are understood/not being tested on are stored, and as the name suggests, it's a heavy containment zone, meaning the SCPs there are far more contained and secured than the ones in LCZ

SCP-457 is actually still referenced in the game, since the room in which 096 spawns is internally named HCZ_457, so one can assume that it was planned that 457 should spawn in this room.

The SCP-294 room was actually to big for the map generation system to handle. As deemed it was removed as it bugged out the map system of the game.

Damn the amount of stuff in this game is insane, half the stuff a regular player wouldn’t know by playing the game regularly.

The Roasted Achievement already existed when Teslas still one hit absolutely anything, unless an SCP enters them for merely a single or two frames.

I remember the tutorial quite well,the T posing D class at the shooting range and the narrator making you upgrade the cards in 914 all the way to the chaos device thing.

I would think that the iceberg entry for SCP-914 would be a list of 914 settings that break your objects instead of upgrading them. It’s the top of the iceberg, so this could be showing new players that you don’t have to find a high clearance keycard yourself in the facility, you can instead use 914 to get a card of higher clearance. Or even something as simple as “this setting on this object actually allows you to have an advantage in the facility!” Whereas other object changes may not necessarily give a benefit to the player.

In the oldest version of the game you could play as scp-457 by using commands, but it had no model or anything, it was just a d-boy.

i think the the 'roasted' achievement was probably removed because it incentivised SCPs to damage or end themselves in tesla gates. on top of that, yeah, it is super easy, but if you aren't going specifically for that achievement it is hard to be bad enough as an SCP to just wander into the tesla gate on your first round like you claim would happen

What I think each secret OST was for: Unexplained Behaviors: Might have been used as an old Pocket Dimension theme, or some sort of track for an unadded SCP? We Gotta Run: I think this was used for an indicator that Chaos has spawned in for guards, or for the D Class that MTF is in their sector Forget about your Fears: Might have been used as some sort of SCP ambience.

Maybe it would be cool if they let 096 have the grapple animation as style points but also gives you more rage time if you decide to do it, idk just an extra button to press if you want to style as 096

Wyatt, do you think 035 would be a good SCP to add in the game once the rest are fully reworked? I know the devs don't want an SCP with guns, however a few have suggested a version of 035 that instead creates black puddles that has a decay effect and can decay doors and whatnot, so essentially like a damage over time and support SCP that gains HP when he drains HP from human players.

fun fact: most of the humans in scp secret laboratory are free models from the adobe fuse. I was attempting to find a character to model clothes on to learn 3d modeling and I found the zombie in fuse and realized I could make every secret laboratory human in there.

About the grenades not being in the current beta… Also the Roasted achievement WAS in the game previously.

I always wanted 035 to be in the game, as its one of my favourite SCPs, and I think it could be cool as either an SCP you can become (Similar to 049-2). Or as just a default SCP class.

15:20 you say that but there is atleast 10 different achievements in the game exactly like that "Hurray you took 10 steps achievement unlocked" Really I think it's more that the roasted achievement unintentionally encouraged self harm which could really screw over an SCP team. "Dude wtf why did you nearly kill yourself? Now you're gonna cost us the game" "I was trying to get the achievement"

Another reason why some may call 106 larry is because there is a note in SCP:Containment Breach that says that the staff need to stop calling SCPs unofficial names,but who knows,maybe that note is inspired by the radical larry meme.

in some servers you can find 3 coins in 914 (depending on server settings etc(might also be a plugin ive only encountered that in one server)) that might be what its refering to in "914"

035 was a blacklisted scp but there was a time when a plugin featuring him was common. Esentially you where a human with more health and each item you held was "infected" when someone loots your body you respawn as him taking control of his body. Preety op since a 300 HP human with guns could kick some ass.

lcz is above hcz since as 079 when you travel between zones you see arrows pointing up and down depending on where the zone is, if youre in hcz to lcz elevators the arrows point up

Acturly I believe light is just nearly at the same level as entrance, but cause of the facility lockdown they blocked the way from light to entrance, and I mean look at the Brocken tunnels in entrance, I think they where the way to light

It’s so sad to see that a lot of this stuff was shelved, hopefully some of these can come back in some form in the future. I think SCP-294 would be a perfect side addition to replace… don’t crucify me for this; SCP-330. To be honest the candy has become incredibly mundane ever since it was permanently added into the game. During the past few Halloween events, everyone had so much fun with the candy; marshmallow monsters, rainbow clouds, and of course explosions. Now, people just run in, nobody gets tricked into grabbing more than 2, and they leave it at that. I still think that the actual test room itself should still be there, it makes for some extremely funny moments. Idk, maybe they could put a replacement item in there to make people fall for getting trapped. Actually, maybe they can turn it into an interrogation chamber. The glass should be replaced with a 1-way viewing window, with one side being transparent and the other having a wall texture. It wouldn’t really serve a purpose, but hey, SL needs more world-building. Then once Halloween rolls around, they can add back the candy bowl in the room! Anyways, about 294. This isn’t at all a new idea, but Northwood should definitely consider adding a lounge or cafeteria. How else are any of the personnel going to eat? You can’t deliver food to a secret government laboratory, that would kind of ruin the whole point of secrecy. 294 should be stationed there, in the cafeteria room. 294 would be interesting, because Northwood could add as many drinks as they want to. None of them have to give an advantage, all I’m saying is that it’ll be nice to have a swig of chocolate milk on my way out of the facility as a D-Class. Plus, having the ability to type whatever you want could be great for hiding easter eggs, like the cup of joe incident. On the less controversial side of things, SCP-457 would be totally epic, it would have a variable amount of health, strength, and speed depending on how many people its killed. Maybe if it attacks a human, they’ll be set on fire which will damage them over time - but I think it would be funny if a human player that’s on fire walks nearby another human player who isn’t on fire, the one who isn’t will be set aflame. I could totally imagine 457 walking up to an MTF spawnwave and causing a housefire. to make that mechanic more balanced, perhaps the amount of time people are on fire for as well as the distance/time required for a human on fire to set someone else on fire will all depend on how much fuel 457 has… geez that was a mouthful. Maybe you can put yourself out via a fire extinguisher or bucket of water, which could also be used to weaken 457 (it wouldn’t act like a micro, because it would be way too easy to get as a human class and would be unfair to 457). Perhaps instead of grenades hurting 457, it could help them by increasing their fuel by a ton.

SCP-914 is all about the secret parkour you can do there which can help you to avoid SCP's that cannot jump high (zombie; peanut) or SCP's that are blind (both 939's).

The truth is that LCZ is on the surface or atleast very close to it as in SCP: Containment Breach while being escorted to 173, you can see a road where a truck passes trough in a catwalk, meaning that LCZ is somewhat in the surface

Honestly about lcz and hcz i just think maybe the facility is next to a mountain or something :P also if i made the facility i would change it so its surface -> enterance -> light containment (where the safe and maybe some euclid scps will be kept -> hcz where the keyer and some euclid scps will be kept I know in scp:cb its not like that but i mean it just seems more logical

the old d-class and mtf models might have something to do with the scp containment breach unusaed and untextured models for mtf that look identical minus the texture

I have actually seen SCP-035 in an official server, but it was not actually what you'd expect from it. I had spawned in as Chaos Insurgency and we had all entered the facility. At some point I saw a friendly and said hi, then he said hi back and shot me dead. While spectating him, it said "SCP-035" above his name like it says when someone drinks 207. Didn't look any different than a normal CI.

I also noticed that the Old Chaos Vehicle was at Gate B, not Gate A.

This is why I play on Dr brights it adds all the fun stuff like pink candy

Scp 294 you could ask for a cup of (player name) and depending on if they are a guard mtf chaos scp it would remove a small fraction of their health like 20-30 hp or 50-100 if they are an scp and it would say (you feel like you are losing blood) and to use the machine you need 2 quarter and the machine can only be use a total of 5-10 times by and once those 5-10 times are used it can no longer be used by anyone also you can make any liquid out of it so you can potentially order some nitroglycérine and can go kamikaze on the scp the drawback would be that you cannot jump or run otherwise you explode

In garrys mod, theres an addon that is literally just a ported scpsl 096 and you can possess him if you spawn him as an npc and use the grapple animation as an attack

The scp fondation has a nuke that only explodes the inside but the surface will not be affected meaning the surface zone is higher then light and heavy because in scp cb a paper says its build to only explode inside meaning.... Light contaiment zone is higher then heavy contaiment but still below surface or close to surface but i dont think its close because then the nuke(alpha warhead)would blow up at every zone

What I don’t get about that first one is why tf would the more dangerous scps be closer to the office workers? Also just put every scp that isn’t in the safe class in heavy zone it would make a lot more sense
