It was looking too cheap for my taste, the tank badging is lacquered and they should have done the same on the fairing. Just a little something that sets me apart… lol
My German friend, if anyone says any derogatory comments about the underperformance and high cost of the ZX-4RR, then they just don't get it They don't get the concept of a high revving 400cc inline 4-cylinder screamer that revs to 16,000 RPM and that you can safely ride on the street and switch up and down the gears without massively breaking the law and going to jail or losing your license or losing your life, like on a 1000 cc 200+hp Superbike. I just wish the other Japanese manufacturers suzuki, yamaha, Honda would come out with a similar bike and maybe naked Style.
I wish my car enthusiast hobby was as easily attainable compared to motorcycles, not that I can afford to buy as many bikes are you buy the cars I want are like buying 5-10 new bikes. ;) This ZX-4RR is probably my 3rd choice behind the Tuono 660 that I used to own but traded in along with my V85 to get my favorite as you know the v100. ;)
I started with cars as well but like you said just not attainable. Motorcycles were the answer while being also faster than most cars. But I will say I have developed a bit of an addiction …
@@ThatGermanFella I have a Yoshimura At2. It’s awesome. I also have a RU-vid short with the Woodcraft frame sliders installed. I got the short ones which stick out just enough to protect without sticking too ridiculously far.
@@ThatGermanFella can’t wait to see your first ride reaction with the new exhaust. These bikes sound great with exhaust, especially under load while riding. The pops during up shifts are so satisfying.
Kawasaki make quality bikes. A smaller cc bike with high redline are fantastic to ride. I remember bikes like like 250NSR & 400NS & 400NSR-500NSR & RD250-350 2strokes with high redlines.
@@ThatGermanFella I guess they were non existent in East Germany in the 80's & MZ 125 & 250ETZ not a 13-16000rpm machine. Those Honda NSR & the RD 250-350 were gutless around town & slow riding at 50kmh & didn't go hard till you're on open road using the gears hard out to stay high in rev range. Great fun though zipping around on a 250cc that was capable of 220kmh & Passing a big cc cruiser🤣 on a straight.Smell of 2stroke mix & aluminum🤣.Back in 1990 when I got license bikes that were 8-12yrs old were as cheap as chips & CB 550four & 750 & Kawasaki GPZ 750,GSX400 GSXR 400-600,VFR 400 were cheap & did the rounds amongst our friends.
