this one is a long one, so grab a snack, throw it up on the TV and enjoy! another great ski season in the books filled with lots of pow, challenging terrain, friendships and life lessons. i cannot thank you guys enough for the continued support on what we do here. none of this would be possible without you all. bring on the 24/25 season!
That last run on great Scott at the end was epic. Just in the couple years I've watched your videos, that run really showcased your increased skill! Here's to 24/25'!
Dude, after a summer of hiking, fishing and Mountain biking I was starting to get the ski itch! This just increased that itch 10 fold!! LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!
What an amazing season. A big thank you to all the mountain ops people, you guys are all heroes Thank you Lucas for putting us on some stoke before the winter gets in gear, I think it's gonna be an epic season. Stoke Squad LFG!!!!
I’m not sure what the possibility of Lucas skiing around the world is, but I would absolutely love to see it! Although, I do love seeing Lucas ski my local mountains. Keep it up!
Hell yeah man, looks like you had a killer season. Your videos inspired me to start making my own long-form content on RU-vid instead of just posting clips on Instagram. Thank you for what you do!
Lucas keep on killing’ it with the stoke and snow missions!! I would agree that LCC has some of the best terrain in North America. And the snow can’t be beat. I tell all of my friends and ski family that nothing can compare to the snow that Alta and the Bird get… if you know, you know ❄️🙌❄️🏔️❄️ My last full year at Alta was the 2008-2009 season and I’ll never forget it. The snow was insane! something around 696 inches if my memory is correct. Thank goodness K2 sent me some Hellbents along with the current Obsethed ski. They were needed that season for sure. Anyhow, take care and we are all looking forward to your new winter adventures that you share with all of us. Here’s to hopefully another great Winter. Take care. Cheers!!
Dude, you said in your live stream you're thinking of coming to Crested Butte this year! Excellent! Make sure you let us know when you do so we can show you the goods. CB will change your definition of "steep" my brethren! Bodybag, Dead-end, Highlife, Edge, Disgusting Trees, Fredos, Sock It To Me, Slot Rocks, Phoenix Chutes, East LA, and ALL of Third Bowl are must do's for the rowdy seeker like you! The North Face zone is basically Kicking Horse but with a lot more rocks and trees! You'll LOVE it! Keep up the stoke!! ❄️🏔⛷️
As a 59 year old intermediate skier that, in my opinion, skied the best of my life last season, I love your channel and dream about some of the runs you do, sadly, knowing I probably will never ski them myself. Love the interaction when you ski with Abe and love the camera angles - prefer the invisible stick vs the Unicorn or Narwhal
i wish i got more snow where i live we dont get opening day till later december its a struggle watching the vids and not being able to go out. they keep me sane tho keep uploading broski
This year will be awesome!! 🤞❄️⛷️🏔 Dude, you said in your last live stream that you're coming to Created Butte! Excellent! Let us know when that happens so we can show you the goods. CB will change your definition of "steep" my brethren! From Bodybag, Dead-End, Fredos, Highlife, Edge, Sock It To Me, East LA, and ALL of Third Bowl... the North Face area is basically Kicking Horse but with a lot more cliffs and trees. All the stuff you can see from the lifts (Banana, the Peak, Headwall, Big Chute, etc) are the easiest steeps on the mountain. You will LOVE it at CB!! Look forward to having you!!
Colorado has already started to get some high-elevation flurries and Utah is also supposed to get some here tomorrow or so. I'm getting so excited for this ski season!!
May 6th at Solitude was amazing. 14-16" inches of POW and no lift lines. Summit was not open but everything else was. What an amazing way to end the season .
I was listening to this while driving. The story-telling/narration was great too that I understood almost everything without looking at the screen. Almost like a podcast. I also got pumped just listening to you with high energy narration. We are still far away from a major snowfall day but I feel like I’m already ready to ski now haha.
Talk about timing.. I just paid for the rest of my Epic Pass today.. It is a good time for me to reflect on the past season.. I did a good amount of early season skiing last year.. I remember my first day last season.. I was totally exhausted but the lines were so long that it took me forever just to do 6 runs.. I had a lot of that early season.. My last day of skiing was Leap Day.. So I missed the best time of the year.. I think my issue is that I get away from my goal.. My goal is to get out of the city.. It is more of me just being on the mountain than the skiing itself.. My guess is if I look at it that way the skiing will come.. I think that will be my goal this year and see what happens.. This will be my 4th season.. First season I skied 20 times.. Second season I skied 35 times.. Third season I skied 12 times..
