I love the brekdown of how truly special Kenneth Walker is. Charbonnet is a good piece, but Walker is that next level, explosive runner of the football. I like how you broke down what the Seahawks want to do on offense, and how what he can do fits their rushing scheme so well.

I really didn’t want to get hyped for a 11-12+ win season, but looking at all of the improvements across the field(as this video depicts), your prediction isn’t a bold one and that says a lot. I’d take a 14 win season any year! #GoHawks

@@mykethevet Seattle has never won more than 13 games in a season, ever! It’ll be especially difficult this year as the Seahawks have the 5th toughest schedule and the 40’ whiners have the 5th easiest schedule! Obvious Philly & the Whiner’s are the top dogs in the NFC. IMO, Seattle isn’t there just…Maybe next year or the ‘24 season. However, I think Seattle definitely has a shot at the playoffs (wildcard most likely) But once the playoffs start, the 2nd part of the season begins and anything can happen on any given Sunday❗️Seattle has set themselves up very well for years to come. Our offense should be top 5-10 and if we can stop 🛑 the rush, NFL lookout! If Jamal and our defense as a hole stays healthy? Lookout! We’ll have to wait and see about what happens with Purdy and Lance. I don’t think Purdy will be ready for the start of the season? And if Purdy wins the starting job again? What are they going to do with Lance? A QB they traded multiple 1st rounder’s on just to draft him…I bet they are gonna miss Jimmy G❗️Say what you want about him, but he’s a winner, no doubt! Imagine if they didn’t have him last year? Do you think they’d still win 12 games and the NFC West, highly unlikely! It’s almost like history is repeating itself…back in ‘10-‘12 San Fran dominated Seattle. But in 2012-13 Seattle started to dominate them, effectively catching up with the 40’ whiners! They might not “catch” them this season but Seattle is setup to be a Super Bowl contender for the next decade or so! #LFG #12’s #SeaHawks

Alright, new sub here. Volume could be a touch louder but good video! We need our defense to step it up if we want to make it deep into the playoffs though. I still believe defense wins championships, especially after watching what all Seahawks fans have witnessed through the L.O.B days. This offense is going to be very fun to watch this year but I believe it is much easier for great defensive coached teams to shut down great offenses than for great offenses to dominate a great defense. Anyway, this is going to be another great year as a Hawks fan!

Really well-structured video. I've always appreciated classic, fundamental information presentation. Tell 'em what you're gonna tell 'em, tell 'em, tell 'em what you told 'em. Succinct, no wasted space, informative, and fantastic job not just giving stats, but contextualizing those stats and helping the viewer interpret what those stats mean to you. Honestly, this feels like a more purely journalistic take on what Brett Koleman does. The summarized analysis of the players and stats before moving into the tape breakdown was great. It gave a good foundation to the analysis you offered during that segment. Very well done.

Thank you! A lot goes into the process of these style videos! Usually about a couple weeks in preparation/watching film and deciding how I want to present my overall takeaway of an offense or defense to the viewer. Great thing that someone like you notices the format and process! I don’t have anymore significant film access for the off-season. But best believe when the 2023 regular season comes this will be the place to catch out some great film videos! Thank you 🤝🏾

@deltabot6550 11 месяцев назад
@@24hoursports Of course. I have a ton of respect for people who treat their craft with journalistic integrity. If there was anything I'd suggest, I'd say it would be helpful if you revisited relevant information (statistics, key players, etc.) whenever you start a new segment. If you're focusing on running game give a brief (10-15 second) rundown of any important stats you cited at the start of the video, as an example. Introducing new information here for context in the film breakdown might also be helpful, but that might just be how I process things (like, when you're talking about how often Seattle runs multiple TEs, throw up a quick graphic of what the percentage is). Other than that is when you're giving your info breakdown at the start, intersperse some film or play diagrams (as necessary) to show examples of what you're talking about and a little bit of soft background music doesn't hurt. Those last ones are sorta my own personal preferences though. I love the straightforward, uncluttered presentation. Very uncommon to get that and high-quality content so props for that.

Great video!!! Hard to hear, but love seeing my Hawk's being covered by new channels I haven't watched yet. I think JSN is going to be so key for us. I truly feel like he's going to completely open the playbook up for Waldron and Geno. I'm really excited about the new depth of our RB room Kenny Macintosh though really excites me. I believe he's the steal of the draft. Its crazy he was available past the 3rd roumd let alone sitting there at our 7th round pick. His film in Georgia that I've seen is pretty incredible. He runs tough and ohysical and literally catches anything in his catch radius amd even some out of it. Having him lined up is really going to make life tough on a defense. The young man has a chip on his shoulder as well so he's going to play with his hair on fire. I also think that our TEs are goimg to be huge for us this year. I could keep going on. But I'll end it by saying that Seattle should be a top 5 offense this year. Go Hawk's!!!!
@24hoursports
@24hoursports Год назад
I agree wholeheartedly with everything that you said, and you know what the craziest part of that is? With just how good Kenny Macintosh has been/ could be he was the second running back the Seahawks added after also picking up charbonnet who I loved in the draft process behind Gibbs and Robinson. Shane Waldron has a lot of buttons to press in this offense and I feel the same in saying that I could go on all day based on the fact I watched did so much film study and research in the past weeks 😭 but to end, JSN will be MAJOR! Geno smith still “won’t write back” big things are on the way! (Also, a heavily improved defense will of course help the offense). Don’t usually have audio issues but thanks for the heads up definitely will get it fixed!

@24HourSports looking forward to watching more of your content on Seattle my guy. Your breakdown on this video was well put together and you can tell you put the time in to study. Really appreciated the meticulous details on formations and routes. Looking forward to your defensive breakdown. All off-season all you hear is how Seattle has to pick up Jalen Carter and we need a NT in order to be able to stop the run, but I think Spoon was the right pick. I think he'll ultimately enable Seattle to shut down the pass, and in doing so allow Seattle to load the box. Having Dre'mont, Morris, Reed, and Young up front with BWagz and Bush or Brooks Nwosu and Hill or Mafe behind them and on the edge is going to really allow Seattle to shut down the run much better than we did last year. Add in a healthy Jamal Adam's and allow him to push up and play close to the line has the potential to really shut the run down. If Adam's can stay healthy all year he's going to be an X Factor for this defense. Man it's hard for me to type on this dumb phone and my swype isn't working very well. Apologies in advance for what I'm feeling will be a lot of typos. Lol. Be good man and thank you again for the video!!!

There is no doubt if Seattle can be an effective top 5 rushing team, this will help our defense. The reason I say effective is teams can compile a lot of rush yards purely because they can't throw it. I believe our backfield has improved with Charbonnet and McIntosh. Let's not forget DJ, who is an all-around good football player. I can see Pete trying to sign DJ for two more years. Unfortunately for him, that's probably $2 million a year. I would like to see Olu win the center job. Evan Brown is a pretty good gaurd. We actually have depth on the interior of the O Line. Our second year tackles will be better at run blocking and are already steady pass blockers who will just get better. I think Geno will have a solid year. With JSN in the side, our opposition now needs to pick their poison. The boxes we will face will be a lot of nickel helping our run game and giving Geno one second more to throw the ball. I love the Seahawks, so this sounds optimistic by me. Never the less I am being objective. Injuries will be the concern it is for all teams. If Dee Eskridge stays healthy, he could become the secret weapon.

@@kjkgood I think as far as run pass ratio, there will be more running even though the Seahawks drafted JSN in the first, however expect a lot of three receiver formations as a lure only to run the ball against a lighter box.. more specifically to your question, I would expect more adjustments due to the fact that there are more weapons to utilize in both the passing and run game. Also DK can truly be a deep threat now with JSN and Lockett working short to intermediate

Great take. Having ken and the entire running back room take snaps would open up the defense and forces them to have one bad match up or gap in defense. Kenny macintosh is a dog. He's him. This offense is top 3 and I'm not sorry to say this. Geno is going to go nuts on some of these defenses this year. I've been feeling the same about this team being the new hybrid of the san fran and la ram playbook. Still have plenty of openings for the te or one of the 3 deadly receivers. Dee eskridge could be a great dark horse. Who knows, maybe Dee will find his role to gain yards and play decoy in premotions.

U never mentioned Bobby Wagner coming back in the Key Free Agency moves. Nor Julian Love or Devin Bush, not to mention a stud who had 10 sacks and is not even 25 Dre’mont Jones, in the Key Draft Moves u never even mentioned our 2nd round sleep Derrick Hall, who literally was first round value. Honestly bro it just kinda shows ur half-assing the hell out of this video I can’t even listen to your opinion because u never even mentioned Wagner coming back. Like bro the stuff u covered on for my hawks is like cupcakes and strawberries compared to when u look at Woolen,Witherspoon,Jamal Adams,Wagner,Nwosu,Devin Bush, Jerrick Reed, like bro there is so much u missed on the defensive side of things that it genuinely infuriates me, like it took so much energy and control to even type this in a respectable manner. We literally made SO MANY free agency and draft pickups that it’s NUTS like prolly most moves ever made by a team in the off season in history. This teams Depth is on another level that it is scary, not to mention how they rotate and use the players. It’s so perfect that it seems to good to be true Pete is putting something together that I think is bigger than Legion of Boom. Like bro just half of the players we picked up alone already make us SB contenders, the hawks are a very impressive interesting team that have so much good players at Depth, I mean like dude we literally had the best Nickel DB and the best Zone Covering DB in the LEAGUE, look it up. Coby Bryant forced and recovered 3 fumbles in his first year as a nickel db. Ykno how hard that is?? Like bro do u seriously know how hard it is to make someone fumble in the NFL as a DB, the fact he did it more than twice in his FIRST year of learning a scheme is crazy. Never happened before ever, I could go on and on about the offense and defense it is SO ELECTRIFYING on BOTH sides it has me so excited for this season and tbh the only way the Seahawks ruin this for themselves is the play calling. Hawks have amazing talent and depth at all positions not to mention a lot of them are young, I would genuinely be surprised if the hawks don’t make a SB this year, they are TO GOOD and I have been watching football for over 30 years, no other team I’ve seen with this bright of a future besides the Raiders in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
