I rebuilt a 351M for my 78 Bronco. I used the 400 crank, which was the only difference, between the 2. Added some 10:1 compression pistons and had a machine shop do some porting and valve work to the heads. It made at least 2.5 times the HP of original. It ran great after that.

I'm guessing the milage stayed relatively the same.

Yes it’s me who reached you about the 67-72 Bumpside Bronco made in Brazil 🇧🇷, the reason we’ve got the Ford Bronco in the 67-72 Bumpside F-Truck body is because Brazil 🇧🇷 didn’t updated the 67-72 pickup truck body line until 1993 , so the 67-72 Bumpside F-truck run from 1971 until 1992 sold brand new at Ford dealership until 1993 , so when the Full size Bronco were made in Brazil the Full size F-Truck pickup line for the Ford Bronco be derived from was still the 67-72 Bumpside body making the Ford Bronco in being 67-72 Bumpside body and not 78-79 Dentside body as Brazil skipped 73-79 and 80-86 only updating the F-truck body line in 1992 with the 87-91 then 1993 with the current 1992-97 AeroMaxx F-150 F-truck so because Brazil never had 73-79 & 80-86 F-Truck updates Brazil 🇧🇷 run the Ford Bronco on the 67-72 Bumpside body making Brazil the only country to have a such thing as 67-72 Bumpside Broncos !

I wish you fellas would show pictures and videos of the vehicles you're talking about and do a voice over to break up just watching you two chat. Cutting back to you as well throughout the videos. Don't know if that's possible, but I'm a very visual guy. My son, whom you did interview at the Bronco meeting in Tennessee, is currently building a 400 engine for my nephew's 1979 F-150. If you remember him, He built the 1978 Bronco 1/2 cab . But thanks for making interesting videos for us Ford fans. He will be building a 1977 Bronco soon, from a completely new frame up. I keep watching your videos to get tips he may be able to use when he begins. Is powder coating a new frame the best option for optimum corrosion protection? Or is it a brittle coating? Thanks.

That’s awesome! I do remember him. Powdercoating is very durable. A great option for the frame.

The ford 400 made way way mire torque than just 260 ft/lbs. That may be the correct output for a 351m but a 400 made 160hp and aroused 345-400 ft/lbs stock. 400s are known exclusively for their torque output.

Local mechanic rebuilt bottom and top of my 351m out of my 79 bronco for 1000$ parts and labor. What did it Cost you and what all did you need done? We did rings, lifters, rods, rockers, oil pan, valves & gaskets
@sepster18
@sepster18 Год назад
@@aaronbuehler1270 Full rebuild; gaskets, oil pump, timing chain, lifters, cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, rings, pistons, exhaust valves, intake valve, crankshaft (and balanced), line bored, etc. Plus, had the original radiator re-cored while the engine was out. About $3k all told.

Summer of 1971 the first sketches of the concept ideas of the second generation Ford Bronco started developing, a two years after GM Blazer launch , they used a GM Blazer top as a tool for developing the Ford Bronco own top in which way Ford already knew that Chevy Blazer leaked water so Ford already learned from the mistakes of GM to make a better water proof top for they Ford Bronco to be a better vehicle to compete directly as a better vehicle, I’ve got two 67-72 full size Bumpside Ford Bronco made in Brazil 🇧🇷 only , only 100 made , both mine are the rare ones with F100 tailgate instead the more common ones with one piece hatchback like the RamCharger, 67 grille one is getting fully restored body out of frame right now , 69 grille one body Is immaculately pristine condition just need paint job ! All the best from American 🇺🇸 River , Kangaroo 🦘 Island 🏝️ 🇦🇺

I would love to be in the running for future giveaways, but I don't have I-tunes or any other apple products. Maybe you could do something to include Android users who watch your Broncasts and other videos on RU-vid, instead of only those listening to it on an I-phone.
