These are the secret areas in bonelab, or at least the most significant ones. If you want to find them, I explain how for each one. Subscribe! TurdSnack’s tuscany secret tutorial: • BoneLab Tuscany Easter...
I'm pretty sure in the asylum looking one is a giant staircase spiral you have to go up if you go down and go underneath it it leads to two lawn chairs which was I'm pretty sure a reference to boneworks I found it while streaming.
0:55 The wishing well was used for the NPCs of Fantasy Land to wish into and what ever they wished for, MythOS employees would throw up the well. This was talked about in decent via the Monochat clipboards, specifically between the little cabin and the vent room with the 2 crablets
its apparently also a community project in which a composer loved all the wishes from the fans so much that he made a soundtrack with just the wishes being whispered indefinitely Edit: never mind, koniving got it down to a tee
The wishing well was a submission from a bunch of people irl. The composer Micheal Wyckoff originally send out a post on the r/boneworks subreddit and the sl0 discord as well, asking people if they want to be in the game they can send a voice line and be a little easter egg in the credits. He then changed it to an entire room due to the amount of submissions and also he wanted to make sure everyone was heard instead of a select few. You can actually here my wish at the beginning of the easter egg which absolutely shocked me when I first heard it :)
If you listen to the wishing well music from the beginning to the end you'll actually know why it's there. It's a message about why the employees of this mineshaft thing are expected to do backbreaking labor, with encouraging messages from the kids who would come and play this game to be here and participate out in this whole minecart ride thing. They give their wishes they talk about various things. The wishes are all pulled from discord users talking to stress level zero. They range from world peace to God knows what to a shitton of people saying they want to ride a roller coaster. And this is why the employees should feel good about having to be logged in for 12 hours a day, working for 5.15 an hour keeping the virtual tracks clean, in addition to another hour making sure the real building is clean. 5.15 an hour was minimum wage in the us in 1997
1:35 The keycards currently aren't finished so all cards do not have a code into them, as which they will not work. (If you are on pc and you use the Unity Explorer Plugin, you can add a code into the reader and card and it will work) :)
Great video! The door in minedive actually should take the keycard you used but it looks like the developers disabled this feature for maybe a future release. Hopefully we get more Easter eggs around the developer keycards in the future, I would love more Bonelab lore for sure.
Some people have done a bit of digging on the mine dive keycard readers, the first reader does take Michael W's card but its missing a code in the card and the reader is disabled, the second reader uses a different card that's not implemented yet, which to me also explains why the room has a blank pedestal next to the door, its just not done yet. TurdSnack has a video on the mine dive readers/room too, explaining the same thing.
For the control room in the mineshaft level, the keycard you need is actually on one of the Steel beams in the room you hop in the minecart from. You just climb up the side of the beam and it's leaned against the inside of the one on the left side
the control room in the mine level is pretty reminiscent of a real-life roller coaster's operations. if you look any any major roller coaster, there's usually an area overlooking the station like that. Given that the mine level also added friction brakes to the tracks and wheels to carry the train forward, my guess is that the room is another aspect to simulate a real life roller coaster.
Spiral shrine... These are similar to corrupted nullbody spots. These are made by nullbodies that have become intelligent, often by drinking melon belly. If you want to find references to them in Bone Works, Melon Belly shrines might yield better results.
I do believe they plan to finish the keycards or at least add more lore and stuff, there’s an area under the hub with chalk outlines or doors but otherwise no purpose so maybe they do have ideas for it
Fun fact: The "They're coming, Don't fight. Just go." is the same exact thing it says in the rooftops parkour level. It might just be a reused asset or some lore detail.
at 1:35 the keycard is in the place where the minecart is. ON the first pillar to the left climb it and the keycard for that door will be there which is more fun than noclipping
for the last one (not sure if its pcvr also) on the quest 2, in the Tuscany map the second floor of the house has a button stand and a button that it floating in mid air, which when you press it nothing really happens and the button can be pressed all the way down to the first floor, not sure if that's important but I feel like its related to that hidden door.
@@Geert24 nah that's the one on the chimney, i know which one this person's talking about, it's on the balcony but it's broken, i think it's supposed to give you an achievement but it's bugged
I found the wishing well the first day I played and thought I missed a level skip or something. I thought you took some secret lift and wound up coming up from the wishing well, didn't realize it was a secret room.
Hey The wishing well lift song is a song made by Michael wyckoff and the community, where you submitted your voice recording of your own wish, my wish was stupid so it wasn't included which make me sad but whatever, Also the don't fight monitor thing is a reference to the matrix
Go to the museum basement level and climb the tower in the room. There is a battery you can put into a thing next to a door near the start. Go through and make your way around until you are in a room with a big door with quarantine written on it. In that room there is a door that needs a keycard. There is a keycard somewhere, but I forgot. In that room there is a fake wall you can go through to reach a room with windows looking out at fog. - The Fog Room
i've noclipped there nothing is directly behind it nor around it unfortunately, i think all neon text like that are fellow lavagang members but its purely speculation.
You can get into the room in tuscany with a keycard. Go to the houses you can see in the distance with your nimbus gun. There is a statue of a person with a crablet on their head. On the top of the statue, there is a keycard. EDIT: Forgot to mention, the keycard reader on the door that blends in with the background in Tuscany is on the right side of the door, facing sideways. another edit: Inside the Truman Show room there is an unlockable M1 Garand.
You can enter the secret room in Tuscany easier. If you fly out to the small town behind the main area there's a statue, on top is a key card. Insert the card into the side of the room door and you can get in. There's also a door that requires a plug battery thingy. Idk how to get in there normally and if you can.
2:50 There is actually a way to get in without that. If you fly to the town to the statue, there is a keycard that goes to that door. If you take it to the invisible door, it unlocks it and you can go into the secret room.
If you take the keycard found in your #3 clip to the wishing well room and turn left immediately upon entering, following the wall to the end there is a card reader that works with that specific keycard. It will open a door into another room but I haven't figured out what the room does or is for yet....enjoy.
There is a key card on a statue in the Tuscany map. You can unlock the door and walk in, there is also a second keycard in the mine ride map that will work in the first door, you will need the other key card for the second door.
The control room card is on top of one of the girders in the room where you get in the minecart, you just have to climb up the beam on the left when you first walk down the stairs.
There’s another keycard room in the long run. Right after you go through the spinning fan section, at the bottom of the diagonal lift thing. The door leads into a huge room with weird columns. Not sure where the keycard for it is though.
1:09 There’s a hidden keycard on a ledge in the building and a card reader in that room, also for some reason in my playthrough it was blank white with fog
There's a secret room if you go to the Hub and go into the vents that's near all the the game modes and stuff, and keep walking in it there would be a painted white door that you can noclip into using the nimbus gun, and there would be a tunnel to go down and there is 3 clipboards that describe what it is. Except there's 2 white doors painted. But one of them is it.
the card you picked up is maybe (my card sadly dissappear before i get to it) for the card reader in the wishing well room, its in 1 of the corner. and mostly in this "secret room" you can find a ball with a item you can unlock. and there is more rooms you may think
2:50 it’s much easier to just find the key card on the statue to the if your looking out the front door to head to those left buildings climb the statue and get it
In Basement Museum there’s a battery on one of the gym blocks just delete the blocks until you find it then behind where you spawn there is a place to but the battery and a secret room/level. After you figure out the doors and get to the room with the vending machines you can go further by moving one of the vending machines out of the way to find another room. It ends up being a giant loop and there’s some collectibles.
in the monagon base you dont noclip or glitch through it, there is a keycard on the crablet statue that opens it and after that the other door will be opened if you press the button, thats the most easy way to do it
I believe the staircase and door was actually included in the old boneworks with an easter egg. But has been removed from bonelabs version in favor of the incomplete room that you guys found. No idea why
2:29 If you use your nimbus gun and fly away from Tuscany and go to the small town there’s a statue and on the head is a keycard to get into the room (at least on quest)
Love the Truman show references and the fact someone confirmed my suspicion that there was more to that door 🙅♂️ I wonder if the two chairs overlooking the balcony are the window that overlooks one of the maps. And i wonder if the chairs are for you and the creator?
i found one, in the mirror map, if you go up ontop of the weird "pointless" building, you can find a keycard next to a weird black goo orb thing. anyway take the keycard and walk hop down and then use said keycard. it opens a little stairway. i lagged alot so i had to restart my game
There’s a secret room in the museum basement lvl and to find it you have to find a battery pack on one of the towers and plug it in, after that hold down the button and look around. Note: there is a part where you might get stuck so look behind vending machines and open garage doors with strong man, also there is an achievement for killing a clip board in this room
On the red side of Neon District Parkour, I kinda went through a door with a nimbus gun, and I saw a golden gun with a sign. I forgot what the sign said but my game froze for a little and it brought me back to the Neon District Parkour.
If you go into museum basement and find a battery, you can plug it into the battery hole near the big fan. After that you have to find another battery to open another door where you go through like a tiny campaign mission. I don’t think it’s apart of the lore but it’s kinda cool.
It is, kinda. There’s a clip board you can read that talks about a guy who oversees the museum of whatever and talks about how he thinks halfway park is safe cause he always eats lunch there, which is obviously hinting at halfway park having something in it. Currently there’s just a button in the sewer of halfway park that gives you an achievement and nothing else. Excited to see what happens with that though.
In big anomaly where you see big jimmy wong for the first time, if you go to the door to the left there will be a hallway of doors the last right door will lead you to a secret bathroom with 2 capsules.
fun fact: there are actually 2 developer ID cards in mine dive, the one on top of the building and another one on the supports inside the building where you get into the cart. Unfortunately, neither of these cards work on the door, and to my knowledge there isn't a 3rd card somewhere
This is just some speculation on my part, but a spiral "represents spiritual development and our identity with the universe" in alot of cultures, which kinda fits with all the messages on the walls too. Might have something to do with that?
Aye btw you don’t have to do the ENTIRE parkour on the level 1 hidden room, you just have to climb up the grey pipe at the end of the myth os sign! I think it’s so you don’t see the room appear
You can also find the wishing well room on the rollercoaster level. I can't remember precisely where in the level, but there's a fence om the right side of a building (path you need to follow to progress normally is on the left) which you can make your way past at which point you'll find one of those no texture walk ways which leads you to the well
somebody probably already said this but in the museum sandbox their is a battery one one of the pillars and if you taker that then you can access the door
There is a room in the bonelab hub in the vents there is a reader and using the keys from the place in the Big pool place you can open it and there is some lore related clipboards there
There is a message on top of the bullet bonker that reads: “what up son” 😁 Also, the chimney has a button on it. It has a picture of a crablet on the side saying “No!”. Upon pressing the button, a horde of crablets will pop out the chimney. Epic fight music turns up until all crablets have died. Epic little “easteregg”. Edit: fixed misspellings
I could be wrong but I believe the writing on the computer monitors in the hidden control room are a matrix reference. It's not quite word for word from the movie but it is close enough and it's storyline has many similarities to Bonelab/boneworks lore. If there were open bets, I'd put my money on it simply being a matrix reference and nothing more.
Whenever I was just trying to look for the spiral room, ice found it kinda because I climb the hallway and there was like a little while you can know clip through. I want to know clip through it. I started walking Ford in each and each time I started to glow more purple and I think if the room is bugged out.
LOL y’all never noticed but if you stop noclipping and press the button on secret invisible area then the door opens and you can go to the secret area there is also a weapon in the rifle section.
2:05 these are actually related to boneworks storyline If i correctly remember it's one of the first things you read in the game, gotta replay it to be 100% sure
