Lil Baby also said he got better when Gunna taught him to write, at least so ive heard. So apparently Lil Baby went the other way around, started punching in and ended up writing. His lyrics has improved astronomically, probably because of this.

@@bornabudic1399 Tbh i just heard this from a friend and it made sense. I dont watch to many videos like that so i wouldnt know for sure. If you ask me, esp on his latest i just cant wrap my head around the idea that it is freestyled, it is way to coherent and lyrical. possibly punched in tho.

Everything he’s saying is so true I started rapping at 10 years old it wasn’t until I was 23 where I honestly started really making music that’s listenable and I loved it takes time but have fun with the process

i am 18 and i am from europe but i rly make living out of rapping and ik it will be way harder for me considering english aint even my native language or that i may be too old or idk but damn i spend 8 hours today practicing n perfecting my pronounciation and rapping till my mouth hurted and damn i feel motivated af im just putting this here as my own reminder follow ur dream guys

Straight facts coach, but also rewritting a song you made while under heavy emotions can sometimes lead to more damage, since recapturing that type of emotion again can often be impossible.

Record rough copy’s of everything even if it’s just on the recording app and add it to the notes where ur lyrics are so when u re visit u recapture the emotions aswell

@@user-gf7nq1ip2z cool idea, i think that recording everything you make is generaly underrated, I wasted so much time before writting songs without trying them out on the mic and then when I do, I get dissapointed because it doesn't flow well

i was rapping since i was a kid and the reason why i didn't try and do things and rap is because i was afraid of not knowing what to say, am i going to sound ok, or was i even good enough. Then a tragedy happened and my world was flipped upside down Went to the doctors and found out i suffer from PTSD ,Anxiety, depression, touch of bipolar, and possibly heart disease. After my wife's passing in February 5th 2022. I just got in the F!@# it mode what do i have to lose!! Just started posting things I didn't care about views I just wanted to get my feeling out because I had no one to talk too and felt so alone. I am Here today because of music and what i created that just gave me that extra boost in confidence I found a hidden talent i didn't know I had.

Just remember the 10,000 hour rule, and also compare ur first song to ur last. Really try and see how u got better and what ur doing worse.

Power of rewriting. This was huge for me. You can go back a week later, you have the melody now you can put sharper wordplay bruh. Rewriting is lejit .
