Cool video. My goldendoodle gently rings the bells everytime he needs to go. We had a full poodle and she couldn't ever figure it out. We're getting an aussiedoodle so stay tuned.

I will get my aussiepoo pup Dec 16 21 . honestly my current puppy is a 10 month old Schnoodle and I have had the easiest time potty training her. No bells…I carried her to our back door till she figured it out. I got her at 8 wks and only took her out in the middle of the night 4 times the first week. She slept through the night after that in her crate on the end table by my bed. Next I eventually moved her crate to the living room and slept in the recliner with her crate on the end table. Next eventually I put her crate next to my older dog in the living room and I slept in my room. Between 8-10 wks I only cleaned up 3 floor messes….and none since then. At 10 months you say outside potty and she goes to the door. When I leave the house or it’s nite time I say “ kennel “ and she goes in the kennel. Outside every time she peed I’d say good girl go potty…every time she pooped I’d say good girl go poo. Today she knows the difference between the two. I hope my aussiepoo is as easy.

I love your information. Thank you! I think this info can be used with all puppies. I just took in a Staffordshire bull terrier and shes pregnant. I'm sooo scared about the dog having puppies. I've never dealt with that. This video was very helpful and I'm going to try and do all of this and make an area near the back door instead of in the dining room where I have a large dog pool for her to give birth in. I LOVE how you teach not to yell or be mean ❤️ I'm wondering how do I do this alone with 5-7 new puppies 🤔 Is 8-10 weeks good to let them go to new family? That's what I'm thinking.

Great Video! I do have a question about this method. Do you keep a separate crate in the bedroom, or do they sleep in the crate in the kitchen at night and you sleep somewhere close by so that you can take them out to eliminate if needed? I assume that you are not sleeping in the kitchen with them at night....but I'm not sure because you mention it's important to keep them isolated to one room. Thanks!

Very instructive indeed but at what frequency should we bring the puppy outside for potty time during the day and is it the same pattern at night ?

Can we do this technique, then when he seems potty trained, move his crate to another room that’s more out of the way? Will moving the crate later on cause a setback with their training?

What if your puppy can't hold it to get outside when they wake up, and that's why you carry them? That's what our problem is.

Looks great, but our puppy will have to go downstairs to get to the grass; should we carry her down the stairs until she's able to go down on her own??

My vet said to do that , it doesnt work giving her treats

Hello! We recently got an aussiedoodle puppy and are trying to follow your potty training regimen, but there is one obstacle we are running into. When we are saying time to go potty outside, he doesn't want to go, so we have to carry him to the door. But he will go potty once he gets outside. Any tips to get him to come to the door? We are also using the bells.
