For the current (September, 2024) iteration: The perk has been nerfed so now you lose stacks with special attacks in addition to basic attacks. This means the new best killers to use it on are killers like Myers and Ghostface who have built in exposed, that way you only lose 2 stacks instead of 4. Alternatively it can pair well with exposed perks like make your choice or dragons grip. As for which killer to use depends on their power. Though with the variety with exposed perks, this could create an entire video on its own.
As a side note, if you're gonna use STBFL on Deathslinger, just by spearing the obsession you'll lose 2 stacks. Not by injuring them, but just shooting and spearing them. This means that if you shoot the obsession and then M1, you'll lose 4 stacks for just 1 injury. So you gotta either let the chain break (since injuries by this mean doesn't lose you any further stacks) or not spear them at all and just M1.
Ehhh… bad take, and doctor? Doctor still has to M1 so save is good on him, Demo can get moments were a M1 will work fine, as long as you use shred when you need it, save gives him the quick downs with M1 into shred. I would not say avoid using stbfl on these killers as they are still good with it and viable.
What a bad take. Killers with weapon abilities like deathslinger, xeno, pyramid, demo, pig are the best for StBfL. Hit the obsession with the abilities and stack on all the others. If you’re busy thinking about using ur ability all game ur gonna lose fast. M1 is not ur enemy if u have a second ability
Literally everything you just said is just false I'm literally here to give the exact opposite advice more often than not you're better off using your power to injure Survivor then you are to go around the loop one more time to get a basic attack the amount of times that I get to hit shred attacks before a Survivor even gets to use the pallet now that I've ditched Save The Best For Last is amazing you should be using your powers to injure Survivor as much as possible because it's designed to save time.
Most of the time you are better off using shred, which is why most good demo players don't run it. I wouldn't recommend stbfl to a new demo player either because learning to not use shred is an extremely bad habit.
Honestly Agi, Mad Grit, Iron G, best for last/play with your food, is the only time I would use it. Makes for a fun killer to walk around and swing other survivors with a survivor
You'll have a lot more fun if you drop STBFL on Demo and go for shreds instead. You'll also improve a lot eventually. Had quite a lot of people reach out to me that they listened to me and enjoy Demo a lot more and noticed improvement. But up to you to decide.
Ive never played or even gone near DBD. Is it just a huge mesh of all kinds of killers and stuff? Like a “HOLY SHIT THAT CHARACTER IS IN THE SAME GAME AS THIS ONE ITS SO COOL!” kinda thing? Or is it like a “I GET TO PLAY AS MY FAVORITE HORROR MOVIE KILLER!” thing? Im mainly asking because i saw they dropped a new Alien bundle or something and i really liked how it looked. Alien was one of the first horror movies i watched when i was 4, RE being the first one, and its one of my favorite characters aside from Predator. Is it worth it to get the game to play as the Xenomorph? And how much does the game cost and do i need to pay for online yada yada
@@frostyelwood9898if you have Xbox gamepass it’s free, but other than that the game is 30$+11$ for the alien dlc, I’d say it’s worth it but that’s just my opinion
I disagree about Nemy and Demo (especially Demo) not being fit for STBFL. Both of them benefit from it and can easily use M2 for the obsession. STBFL is arguably a soft-counter to the FTP+Buckle Up combo since at 8 stacks it's possible to hit the would-be-rescuer before they use FTP. It's not guaranteed but it greatly reduces the Survivors's margin.
Stbfl gets far more value on killers with m2 Attacks like: wesker, pyramid head, bubba, pig, demo, etc. you can damage/ down the obsession without having to lose stacks. You lose half your stacks on m1 only killers
@@ilyantares false. Can’t waste time using an m2 near a pallet or window or near an obstacle. M1 only killers you’re options are lose half your stacks or ignore them all game
Thank you for giving more ideas for my prevention doctor, I love turning the game into a panic with static blast covering like a good quarter of the map
I play a lot of Demo, stbfl is fantastic on him, as long as you're not using basic attacks only. I almost always end my games with 6-8 stacks, not because I'm focusing all my attention on it, but because I naturally build it up over time when shredding isn't practical.
Save the best for last on demo and Nemesus is one of my favorite perk to play For demo you dont always have the angle + you can scream more often in their ears For nemesus ... Its just funny to puch at the speed of light
I disagree, I love using save the best for last + coup de grace on trickster because when it comes the obession you can just use knives on them, then when you run out you only have to refill for that one specific survivor, and the rest have to deal with the save the best for last + coup de grace combo. Usually secures me 4K games but I don’t do it often cause I feel too strong player trickster
This aged like milk, stbfl is so bad on deathslingerie now considering you literally loose 2 stacks just for shooting the obsession and then another 2 when you break the chain or hit them mind you now is 4 seconds pero stack instead of 5
Saying stbfl is bad on Demo is bait right? It's literally his best perk. You just want comments on the video telling you you're wrong? Well you win I guess.
Plz don't use stbfl on Wesker, I've seen lots of people bringing it on him, it makes u want to do basic attacks and not to use ur power, which is really bad on him. I'm a P100 wesker main, so trust me, don't do it.
Completely disagree with Nemesis. If you’ve ever tried just not m1 with him on only using the tentacle you’ll probably lose if you’re not really really good. Plus then you have an extra tool to use m1s more which can mind-game survivors a lot
i run a pretty nasty build on Myers that is Obsesion fucused: STBFL, Play with Food, Dark Deviotion, plus terror radious reduction addons. Dark Devotion/Play with your food is extremely good for mindgames and generate confusiom, i can't tell you how many times a really good team of Survivors started sweating because of that combo. Add No Way out for extra spicy Evil Within 3 value, works specially well on close maps like Leri's or Silent Hill
as a demo main, its super fun to use save on him, but also pretty practical. when at 8 stacks, its almost impossible to get a hook save if you make it back to the hook in time against a swf. theyre super altruistic and stbfl will absolutely rip through those healthstates for bodyblockers
@@infectedpotato117 you can use it but then ur just playing incorrectly and slowing yourself down a lot, you are just choosing to not to use the one thing the killer is good at and that's his m2. If ur a good demo player you will use M1s practically never.
What about wraith? I’m a new wraith main and know the basics for looping with him (basically not to and just hit and run) but sometimes I wanna continue to go for someone I just injured would this STBFL be good on him?
@@DoubleVve it isnt, with ur m2 u can injure and down and end chases quicker than having to get close to m1 for stbfl stacks which hurts you in the long run
@@eviigeniuz His shred is jukeable most of the time and good demos only use it to bait and get an M1 like stbfl is so busted in demo that they literally get carried by 1 perk slot.
@@DoubleVvehis shred is not jukeable most of the time, only out in the open, in which case you should get a bit closer and then shred. There is almost no reason to m1 on demo, especially if you're against decent players.
I’d say that a killer with an M2 Attack is a good pick, like Wesker or Pyramid Head, because they don’t lose stacks whenever they use that attack on someone, but that’s just me
