I can't believe I downloaded so many tools & plugins off the marketplace for this, and it was already hidden in Unreal!!! why they hid this and didn't talk about this that much!!!?

If what you mean is you like it in little packages, rather than a massive sheet of rocks, you can spawn points around points (spawn a cluster of meshes around some sparse points).

Still, you lose a lot of art direction, is great for big spaces but I find them also useful in these tiny packages for particular detailings.

Its amazing, try it with static meshes, it will create a component actor that is nearly as optimal to render as foliage.

Thank you for sharing, Gabriel. I don't want to go to 5.2 just yet, so I can't confirim, but in 5.1 you still have to enable this as a plugin. It is not great that the plugin is in beta version 0.1 for more than two years, but here we go. Just out of curiosity, is this available by default in 5.2?

Super cool! this is going to be fantastic! Question off topic, though. How did you get your FPS and memory usage, etc, to show up in the main menu bar? I've only ever managed to turn it on to show in the editor window, which is distracting.

That's the most useful feature there is, go to engine preferences and search for memory. Should be the last setting down the list.

The name of the video is a critic to the lousy ways in which Epic communicates and how amazing features like this falls down the cracks unnoticed, but it takes more than a cleaver tittle to make a good video, trust me. @@LoganPinney Yes, they did. Never made out of experimental. That can happen. What is really scary is that water tools are experimental as well as Landmass.
