You know I heard Matt&Nolan used to be two separate people before Simpleflips fused them together to double their speed at editing his videos. Cruel and unusual, but it really shows the lengths he'll go to to be a great entertainer.

If you remember CAR QUEST, the game you made me buy, I just beat the game in 3:28:04 the other day. Im currently trying to implement your 'simple skip,' ramping up the wall over the blockade by the large tree and pasture stage in the main hub. I cant tell you how excited I was when I first got that skip, just like my main man simpleflips. That was ages ago after watching you play. Now, implementing that skip is a bit tricky, as it only pays off a little bit further into the game. The artifact only unlocks the excursion portal in the university, but the door to the university is still locked until after the next level. The possible time save for skipping artifacts is minimal, but the main benefit is battery farming- The pasture level is by far the fastest way to farm the batteries you need to enter the remaining portals, but access to even skipping over the wall is blocked by way of accessing the main skyway spanning the center of the hub. Needless to say, near first-try back-to-back simple skips are required to further whittle my time down. (You need to access the pasture level twice, once to bring back the yellow artifact, and then entering again provides 350 batteries where the artifact was, reload, rinse repeat) Thank you for making me enjoy such an awesomely average game that I would have otherwise never found. Impending PB under 3:25 utilizing simple skip soon! Speedruns on the deluxe version are around 2 hours, but they also have access to different cars with grippy wheels better speed and frickin hover jets, so yknow.
Apparently there’s a mod for the Wii U that allows people to upload levels into Mario Maker 1 again, called Pretendo. So anyone can upload Mario Maker 1 levels vis custom servers

That Sasuke map was really cool! It's based on the reality game show by the same name, the US version of the game is Ninja Warrior. The author found a really cool way to translate the insane difficulty of the physical challenge to Mario Maker, too!
Hey Simple, just to let you know I'm pretty sure that the shy guy costume you got was a 100 Mario normal unlockable and if you play normal/easy for a bit until you get the message saying that you unlocked everything you can optimize your costume unlocks.
I've watched this channel for a few years and love the content! A little while ago I asked my GF if I could put on a youtube video since we didn't have anything to do at the time. I put on the walkies super edit, and we ended up watching the full 8 hours of it together! It was the first time she was introduced to this channel and she loved it. I think a big part of why this game hits different is because there's no clear cons to make an entire level about finding the hidden coin or not touching the ground.
SASUKE is genuinely a really well made gauntlet. Props to the level creator for making it and beating it legit, and props to Simple for beating it too.

That Vine level blew my mind! That was such a cool challenge level, and very entertaining to watch! Wow. I want to make a treacherous vine level in Super Mario Maker 2 some time, after seeing that. That was so cool. Great job clearing it. Seriously.
these mm1 videos have genuinely been my favorite thing to watch each time theyve come out. It all feels so fresh and new and yet also so nostalgic, and you do a great job capturing that and making it entertaining. Great work :)
I think it would be super cool to complete every level in this game. It could be a real nice addition to the uncleared levels series, especially with the overlying goal that there is a set amount. Plus, wouldn't it be cool to say every single level in the game that has ever been made has been beaten?
Dude, I soo badly wanted one of those mugs but when I went to buy one it kept telling me it was out of stock. I spent more time watching vids waiting for another word on the drop of these bup cups until one day my brother just showed up at my house and just handed one to me.
