That's why the fishing game in the original version involves none other than Andy (Thomas) catching the dead body at the end of Felix's minigame. He literally pulled his son from the bottom of the lake.
Notice how the kid that drowned, Louis, was mentioned to be really excited for Christmas, while Felix the character representing him is... Well... Just here, man.
This might suggest that while Felix is the Entity’s placeholder for Louis, it may not have power over his soul… Either this means the Entity had no power to claim Louis’s soul and (if he has died) the little guy has moved on, or he may still be alive with amnesia from the accident.
Felix: "I'm just here man." Me, chuckling: "Mood." But in all seriousness, this game is really cool! I feel pretty bad for Andy, so I hope as time goes on we'll eventually unlock a 'good' ending of sorts for everyone.

Everytime I watch this I can't get over the detail of Andy knocking on the door in sequences of three. Three knocks is said to symbolize death and represents the holy trinity. What an amazing detail.
I'm surprised nobody seems to be talking about the awkwardness between Felix/Lewis and Andy/Tom over the whole Christmas thing outside of finding it hilarious... If Felix really is Lewis - whom Tom says loved Christmas so much that he would beg him to get a tree up as soon as November 1st hit - that actually makes the fact that Felix is all “...I-I'm just here, man” and “why would I wanna hang a sock? ” really sad. He's probably the entire reason this special was put in the game, Tom/Andy is trying to make his poor son happy after all their lives were ruined/ended, and Lewis/Felix is just giving him the cold shoulder...
i think it might also play with the fact louis never got found. his body was missing. just like peter said "u did this before, in the same place he went missing", so maybe louis soul got captured into the game, but wrong. bc arthur got his entire body dragged into the pc, but there were no body for louis

I have no idea, but well... What if all the characters have no idea about souls trapped in them and sometimes get really confused about their actions? And all the scary stuff we see are Thomas's associations of his family mixing up with Andy's vision? For example, Margaret sequence. It sounds like real Margaret trying to get Andy to take out cookies out of the oven, but he's completely frozen by horror-show Thomas accidentally gave him. Eventually Margaret grabs the hot tray herself, burning herself in process and screaming for a little.
That would actually make sense! The characters may represent everyone who was human, but they also seem to definitely be their own people at the same time!

The one thing I noticed from both chapter 1 and the christmas DLC is that all the character that are in contact with Andy are trying to get him to remember, to help him keep who he is alive and to let him know what it was that he did so he can continue trying to get out of the game with his friends and family. Andy has no recollection on any of the events from his time in the real world until the others reveal it for him and it pings in his memories. He knows how the game works and thus will know a way to help the player release himself, Arthur and his family from it. They make him remember when he forgets not to torture him but to remind him of what he really wishes to do. The fact they all got together to gift him his own memories and his soul is proof enough that his family and best friend Andy KNEW something was wrong, know what it is now and are trying their best to help him so that he can fix what went wrong.
that is a very interesting perspective. I thought they were angry at him for trapping them, but this actually makes sense. They don't do it for the spooks, it's their only way to communicate...
That Nameless 'Flower Girl' you mentioned, is actually Baylee the Bee, who's an upcoming character in chapter two, and is inhabiting the soul of Isabella's Friend, Samantha...or in this case, a girl named Sam.
It's possible that it was apple-shaped cookies, not apple flavoured cookies, kinda like how gingerbread men are shaped like little people. Still, you think he'd react... Unless he's trying to hold himself out for the holidays, like how most couples will wait till after Christmas to break up.

That's a good assumption. I read on TV Tropes that the reason Felix sounds so raspy is because he is a literal fish out of water. He can't breathe. Hilarious, and messed up. XP

My theory is the entity stopped Isabella from saving Louis, so that Thomas would make a deal with the entity to get his son back, and the entity became all powerful because of it.
My view is that Thomas somehow met up with the entity while researching his new 'technology' (perhaps even doing some shady stuff to improve his games) and was cursed by the entity all before Louis' death. I think this as when Thomas said he was developing the new technology it seemed to be before all this happened and as the demon claims it was Thomas' fault. The entity might have said this for one of two reasons: to deceive and mess with Thomas or state that it was his punishement in meddling with life/death. I don't really like this view since I'd rather not have Thomas be the next Afton who ended up cursing his family since I genuinely feel bad for him but I feel like this or something like it really could be the case.
11:40 The position of the characters tells you when they died. First Louis, drowning in the lake. Then a bit of space. Second Kamryn who died in the house fire Immediately after, third is Arthur who was axed by Thomas Then there is a big long gap before Thomas (who was chopped up by the entity?) After that, we see the new bumblebee character THEN at the end, we see Isabella, who we now know survived the house fire, escaped to the woods and saw her father chopping up Arthur. I suspect chapter 2 will tell us about Isabella and what happened after Thomas was killed and sucked into the computer. And I suspect that Isabella will have something to do with the new bumblebee character, before Isabella gets trapped in the computer herself.
i do hope in ch2 we get confirmation on wether or not isabella is alive or not, theres evidence that she could be alive(like melodys secret message in ch1) but we don't know for certain either since the game has made it apparent that isabella became melody, or at least will become melody idk isabella/melodys currently the most mysterious character since we dont know for certain what happened to her after 12/24/82

I just love that the game gets straight to the point because there's always an expectation for horror to have build up to make things more eerie (which is effective, don't get me wrong) but this game is like "Nah, you get a spooky face right away"
You can interpret its constant in-your-face scares as very quickly paced horror or a parody on how this horror genre works because they almost always have a build-up, while in here they're just constantly reminding you with scares Either way, I think this fits this game anyway so it's not necessarily a bad thing
I was confused if Thomas burning the house down/the Christmas tree starting the fire was a retcon, glad to see you covered that part!! He seemed genuine in the cutscene and had nothing to gain by lying/playing innocent if he was just going to kill Arthur anyways, maybe he just didn’t remember? The entity /did/ block the memories of the characters in the game...
Yeah... I think the Entity started 'driving' Thomas' body, shortly after he saw Arthur staring at the remains of the burned house. It's likely that Thomas also has no idea that 'he' poured gasoline all over the outside of the house.
Honestly I am starting to think it might not of just been Thomas that was controlled by the Entity, but maybe Arthur had been as well. That scene gave me the sense that Arthur wasn't being 100% honest with what he was saying to Thomas.
So idk if anyone else noticed but in that last play through of Andy’s apple farm, we see Louis has blonde hair while Isabelle has brown, in 13:41 we see the drawing shows a kid with blonde hair. The drawing also looks like it was drawn by a little kid, and not a teen. This scene also plays when we talk to Felix, who is supposedly Louis. I’m not completely sure but I think that Louis drew those pictures and spied on his father.
If that was the case, then why would he go on about how he's dead and the like? Not to mention that it's implied that the Entity was the reason Louis died. Did the Entity take possession of Thomas to drag the first corpse so Thomas didn't know what happened to his son?
@@Swordkiller55623 The only reason Thomas made a deal with it in the first place was because his son died, this means the entity was already fixated on Thomas and his family before he made a deal with it. Maybe the entity dragged the corpse into the game itself?
he does say that he's going to "save" Arthur "just like he did Louis" and Peter when Peter wants to play hide and seek (somebody in the comments said that the letters there said "find the body" when decoded but I can't verify that) he says "You've done this before. In the same place he went missing." this makes me think that when he found out that Louis drowned he went to the lake and recovered his body and secretly brought it back to the computer to put him into the game. I don't think he knew anything about the entity's involvement in his death at this point. the whole thing sort of reminds me of Pet Semetary

You missed one thing. In the original Andy's Apple Farm game once you get the "An Irregularity has occured" crash screen, you can now make out what happened in the audio. After this Christmas edition came out I figured it out. During the cutscene of Thomas dragging Arther's body back to the house you can connect that to the sounds in the audio of Thomas dragging the body into the house. Next, you can connect the sound of Thomas typing on the computer to the scene where the Entity grabs Arther's body and transfers him into Claus's body in the game. The rest of it can be connected to what happened during the scene with him talking to Arther before he chases him down under the influence of the Entity.
That jumpscare at the end of her picture with her nose gone and it being slightly green made my blood run cold when I first saw this video. I come back to it now and see it again and still got my blood to run cold. Its so creepy to me and almost none of the other pictures that were creepy ever freaked me out like this one.
I’ve actually managed to decode a lot of the secret codes! In chapter 1: When Peter catches you, the secret message decodes to “Thomas, don’t ask for help. Nobody can save you now.” It was awhile ago so it may be a little different In this DLC: When you meet Peter, the game title translates to “hide the body”. I don’t know about the one in the Felix mini game.

That was fast. I knew the Christmas special was gonna be important since most of the family died during Christmas. The only questions we got left is: How did Isabella died and when? What role this new woman plays?
maybe a cop? I mean, thomas was pronounced dead way after the rest of his family (i think 5 months later?) so maybe he had to get rid of someone who was after him, realized that this was going REALLY far and confronted the entity, getting himself trapped within the rest i think it would also fit the chronology of the game. his family and arthur died first, so theyre in the first chapter and in the family christmas, this lady just got around later, being placed in a later part of the game
@@bluepancake1269 well this game is very similar to Harmony and Horror (very similar plot points). Its implied Thomas knew what he was dealing with but underestimated it. In Harmony and Horror, the first victim was the deal maker's assistant, so maybe she's an assistant helping with the game. Quick correction on you by the way; Thomas died in March, that's exactly *Three months* after the Christmas tragedy

Apparently Isabella grows up and have a friend named Sam, but they both get sucked into the game, meaning they're doomed to be trapped in there possibly not alive.
10:31: I disagree with this conclusion it’s more then likely Kamrny seeing as her facial skin melted away during the Blaze and that in the hidden scene where Kamernys faces becomes distorted her nose is missing, so the gift in general is the hidden trauma of Thomas.

My best guess for the flower girl could be his mistress or another member of eastwood family(idk, aunt)?. Another thing is, I'm curious how Isabella got trapped in the game since we all know now that she didn't die when their house burned. So far, I think Isabella is the only one who didn't die but still didn't escape the same fate with the other characters 🤔 One last thing, It's funny how Felix is the only one with humor in this ddlc, made me laugh a bit with his sarcasm especially the staring contest scene, others seem too serious.
This makes me wonder then what happened to the daughter or how did she end up in the game. Perhaps she went into it after seeing her dad force Arthur in?
It could be possible that the entity plans to take out Isebella in it's own way rather than let Thomas do it. After all, it started with not being able to save Louis.

If you listen closely to the moaning of that creepy red face inside of Andy’s present, it sounds like a call for help. This would make sense if that is a literal representation of Thomas Eastwood trapped inside Andy’s Apple Farm. Thomas has become a tormented soul, and it would make sense that he would be crying out for someone, anyone, to free him from his torment.

i just thought: What if the jumpscares are triggered by ptsd from what happened? just think about it, the fish guy's jumpscares in the first chapter are both based on the body in the water, and the walrus girl's jumpscare here is based on the fire that burnt her. edit: just realized, clauses jumpscare in chapter one is based on the body as well, proving, if my theory is correct, knew about the drowning.
something i feel you neglected to mention is how Arthur being brought back via the game explains Louis too if he used the game for Arthur which got rid of his body then that explains why Louis' body was never found if bringing someone back via Andy's apple farm makes the body’s disappear and Louis was brought back through the game then... THATS WHY LOUIS WUZ NEVAR FOUND
What if each character is made after their deaths? The son is a fish (drowning), the mom was supposedly burned alive by a fallen Christmas tree (people in the comments say she’s a mole, so maybe she was trapped under debris and died underground?), the dad made a deal with the devil and it probably got him killed (an apple, maybe like Adam and Eve?), idk what the friend might represent but the characters might make more sense as time goes on.
