Fun fact: In the original game, Ruby was supposed to have an actual handgun instead of a slingshot. There was a theory that Ruby had shot her parents in a blind rage and used Mr. Hopp as a cover story for her actions.

Did you ever notice that when Beverly locked Esther in the cell in the celler that that was the only time she ever got attacked, noticed it, or even new about any of this so it was like Mr. Hopp was mad at her for locking Esther in there so he attacked her and practically tried to help her by giving her the key and was trying to protect her without the entity noticing so he could still live but not kill Esther

Fun fact: when you get the fourth tape in Mr hopps playhouse 1 then go to ruby's room you can see miss bo and Mr stripes in her bedroom window.

Man I love how Esther isn't really that scared of what's happening, but is focused on her goal

I think of the six medallions as neutral. It depends on who wears them. Esther's good heart and strong will helped her. (Edit: I was right on the money)

Unrelated to the lore but, I love the small details that Molly truly cares about Esther like when she asks Esther what she’s going to call Mr. Hopp and volunteers to count in playing hide and seek at the end

if the series does continue then it could have Esther's friends Molly and Issac experiencing a new haunting by their respective plushies or Ruby finding some type of message from Esther telling Ruby to go find Molly and Issac and when she arrives the other plushies come to live

I like how in a lot of horror games, the second version is just a prequel from the first one, like little nightmares 2 etc

I feel bad for Esther, she went through all of the pain to end like that. I wonder what happend to her friends? Molly and Isaac. I hope in the third game it introduce us to them but old now.

I think when I watched Manly's playthrough, it showed that even though Ester escaped in the end, the entity did one last action: although it didn't harm her, it wiped her memories of the horrors it inflicted during that short time. That's why she kept the doll around- the only memory she probably had left was when she picked it up and named it but nothing else. At that point, the Entity stayed dormant until just before the first game, and... well, we know the rest...

Man demons are terrifying clever, they could not defeat esther in her best so they stuck around to catch her off guard at her last days.

9:08 I found this out by accident but the all black figure in this scene is one you can purchase from the extras menu and if you use it and then encounter this figure she used to say: who are you? Are got a secret ending but this secret was only in the beta version and is no longer there sadly it won’t do anything if you try lol

It’s amazing how Esther is hardly scared of them at all.

My opinion is that Beverly might have known abt the dolls being haunted and just tried protecting Esther

I have to wonder what happened to Bo and Stripes. If Hopps didn’t die and Esther took Hopps, does that mean Bo and Stripes are still alive and Molly and Isaac took them? What happened with them?

I hope there's like Ms. Bo's Playhouse or Mr.Stripes one in the future telling Molly and Issac's story.

One thing i think was incorrect, was when it was said that the entity possessed Esther when she grew old. I believe she developed dementia and forgot, giving Mr Hopp to Ruby. The reason the Entity was behind her was to watch her make one mistake needed for the Entity to return. I believe she had dementia because in one of the tapes(first game), it was mentioned that she forgot who Ruby's parents were when they went to visit her. Esther's sudden passing was the cause of the Entity who took advantage of her due to her mind being weak.

Ruby’s Ending Theory (of course not real): It is now the year 2020. Ruby’s mom and dad died from COVID in May. She was orphaned a month later and lived in an orphanage called “Blackhouse Manor”, a rebuilt version of the orphanage Esther lived in. On her first day in the orphanage, she had a nightmare. She was wandering around the orphanage when she came across a girl named Diana. In fact Diana is a real girl in the orphanage, who joined the orphanage the same time Ruby did. Diana was related to Dee, but it is unknown how she is related to her. Diana turns black, and Ruby asks what is happening to her. Diana suddenly turns into THE ENTITY, chasing after Ruby. Ruby wakes up after reaching a dead end in her dream. Diana was smiling sweetly at her, asking if she had a bad dream. Ruby ignored her and told her she had a good dream. Ruby had 2 friends in the orphanage - Moriah and Timmy. Moriah is an elder sister to 2 younger siblings. They are cousins to Molly’s grandchildren. Timmy is the only child, trying to find his other siblings. His siblings and him are cousins to Isaac’s grandchildren. Moriah and Timmy were debating on whether her dream meant there’s something wrong in the orphanage or maybe she is just crazy. Of course, Timmy thinks there is something wrong with the orphanage while Moriah thinks that Ruby is crazy. She has the same dream over and over again. She woke up again one day from that dream. Matron Luisa, the cold matron in the orphanage, put a box on the floor. The box was labelled DONATED TOYS. The three looked inside the box to see the same toys that Esther and her friends found. Ruby didn’t bring Mr. Hopps to the orphanage because she lost it during the time her parents were sick. Thinking that it was safe now, Ruby grabbed it and hugged it tightly. Timmy named the tiger Tiggy and Moriah named the panda PauPau. The plot goes along the same way with how Esther’s plot was, except THE ENTITY has roamed back to the underworld and will never travel to the human realm again. Little theory: Maybe Beverly, (the one who locked Esther in the cellar,) knew about the entity, and was trying to stop it. She locked the bodies of Esther’s friends in the cupboard. She locked her in the cellar. She didn’t want her to become like Dee.

I’m pretty sure that Hopps, Stripes, and Bo were Dee’s toys before she met the Entity, and after she died the Entity latched onto her and possessed her toys so she could get her revenge.

Hey Mike I think in the true ending you forgot something... Firefighters put down Ruby’s house fire but one of the firefighters actually found Mr Hopps Lon the ground so that means there could be a third game..It could also have the plot of Ruby being an adult and finally truly killing the entity once and for all.

I can't believe that in two months and three weeks Mr Hopp's playhouse 2 will become two years old‚ it feels like it's only been a week since it came out.

I have always had a little headcanon that Miss Beverley is the way she is because of Dee. I think of this because the two interacted a long time back at the manor and Dee tried to manipulate the woman into helping the demon. However, she resisted and the girl ended up tormenting her to the point she nearly went insane. So, she had to get rid of the toys that severed as the anchors for the entity, only for them to mysteriously return. She might be so harsh on the kids not because she hates them, but because she is trying to encourage them to leave the manor as soon as possible. It might also be why Mr. Hopp captured her and dragged her off to the underworld to prevent the lady from further stopping their plans. Sometimes actions speak louder then words, and actions are very meaningful in this story.

Mike, I just thought of something. Remember that fire in the chapter: "The Six"? Well, it seems pretty random, right? Well, what if that was hinting to how Esther lost her parents and ended up in the orphanage? You mentioned how the Entity was hinting towards Esther's possible pain of losing her family. This possibly could mean that she lost her parents in a house fire when she was young. What do you think?

You know the prequal mr hopps playhouse 2 opens up the possibility for spin off games like mr stripes playhouse and miss bo's playhouse. mr. Stripes would be haunting a family member from Issac's family and Miss bo would be doing the same to a member from Molly's family

There is also a secret in Mr hopp manor escape the whispers if you reverse it you can hear this and if you take all pictures of the start and inhas the image you can see this and if you 20x slower the thunder at Mr hopp 1 Ruby's room you can see miss Bo and Mr strips

After doing readerch, i found the a fallen angel by the name of, “Remiel,” was an old fallen watcher (or angel) who is known for hope in folklore. Don’t believe me? i found a picture of an accurate picture of Remiel foretold, and you will never guess… IT LOOKS LIKE THE ENTITY Edit: I did more research, and he has the power of binding spirits to a physical ‘noun’. He decided to bind himself to the orphanage and other dark fallen angels to the toys, so they could roam and have their own domain. Another Edit: 5:54 4 Vases, 1 for each character being the bindings of each character to their respective ‘noun’. I suspect if these break their bindings to the ‘nouns’ will be broken, and they will be freed… but i don’t thing the entity, or should i say, Remiel, would like that. I think they are making her bring their vases to them so they can hide them in a safe place, where no one will find them to break them, so they can continue their torture to this orphanage and the kids/staff. You guessed it another edit😂: 5:54 first vase podium has an X, which is what is used for sending demons back to hell, which is what could have happened to Remiel, when he was sent to hell. I believe instead of risking our lives, if we were there we should just break the vase for the X, so when Remiel is sent down to hell, its powers/changes are undone, freeing the others. it’s better for this bc i would rather risk my life breaking 1 vace, rather than burning and breaking all four. if this theory isn’t right, and you still have to break them all, i would start with the X to A, limit it’s powers, and it would have to spend longer in hell/waiting to be summoned to come back, and B, it could work so i’d at least give it a shot Another one lol: 6:51, if we put all the medallions together and form the necklace, can we use it like a crucifix and put it on the doll’s necks to cast the spirits to hell? Or, if they all are together on a necklace, will the person wearing it be immune to the powers/alterations of Remiel? Edit again: 8:20, This reminisces to the person from before, in Esther’s dream, being torched. (extra theory, this happened the medallions survived since they are demonic/used by an unseen force, but the string burned, hence why the pieces are scattered.) The person being torched looks feminine, and guess what, THIS GIRL IS (obviously) FEMALE, AND WAS ALSO BURNED AT A STAKE! More: 9:21, if they destroyed the doll, than the vace from a few edits ago, it won’t ever come back… not unless the medallions aren’t found, and brought together, which started it in the first place Edit: 10:48, doesn’t Dee look similar to, i don’t know, THE GIRL TORCHED AT THE STAKE WHO TOOK THE NECKLACE IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Edit: 11:00 Maybe she isn’t doing a ritual to help, maybe she is doing a ritual to summon mr hopp/the entity/Remiel, and Dee has been possessed, and she is collecting materials to summon the certain demon right in front of Esther, making is trivial to try to escape, since they outrun her Edit: 12:12, Dee’s old house? It is rather quaint, so possibly? maybe the demon took her parents and secretly Esther and Dee (who both are female, both have no parents/parents were took/died, and both are related family wise from Mr Hopp #1, and Esther Being Her grandmother, (even though it isn’t said, it is hinted at and a proven fact that is cannon based off the timeline) Edit: 13:47, if i was Esther, i would give Dee mr hopp, as the doll was about to get me, (and proven that he can be in his big slender form while his doll is still chilling,) so she would be the one to play with. Not only will this grant me 100% Survival, and freedom from Remiel and the spirits, but it could stop all of it bc Dee was the original puppet, so if she, a, “puppet,” were to be controlled, since Dee is the Entity, would that mean he has to go by his own rules and play with himself for eternity, and he be a killer? Side note From Edit Above ⬆️: if The Entity, aka Dee was turned into a puppet, no one would be pulling on the strings, causing them to all return to the fiery dark pits of hell Edit: 14:53 throughout 15:03, Dee says they are the same, further proving the theory a few paragraphs above ⬆️
