@@yuthecmdh4xx0rakanohomo83 pretty much preference, not every character is equally fun or comfortable to play for some. If you look at games like Tekken or Street Fighter, you will mostly see people stick to 1 or 2 characters. Of couse you will find some players who play almost the whole cast too.
copying zarya is super fun because if you end while you use her ult, you can combo with yourself and land a bunch of stickies in a group. 90% of the time people use their escape tool/survival ability (like reaper fade or kiriko's suzu) right at the beginning of the ult, so they most likely wont be able to stop the stickies after.
I’m a mercy main and I recently picked up echo. I know it sounds weird, but as someone who permaflys mercy and attacks from the air, echo is an awesome dps choice for me since I’m so used to being in the air. Great video
Vertical assassination is sooo much fun to do and probably really annoying for enemy team....it just insta melts squishies and with her more silence approach in the game it's really easy to sneak up on enemy.
As a Moira main who feels most comfortable using her atm (I've only been playing about a month don't bully me 😂) I'm trying to learn echo so being able to copy Moira without it being a waste is kind of a relief tbh

@@apmcxoh, it's not just ping, it's also internet up and download and PC load times, one of the ppl I frequently play with loads into the hero select a good 5 seconds after me and one day asked me how I was this fast. That's how i found out
Baston may only be a bad copy in higher ELO. But if you plat or under baston is free value all around. Especially if you copy him from behind enemy lines . Tanks form is one of the strongest things in the game. So as a silver playerI'm going to disagree with you saying baston isn't a good copy for lower elo
Bastion CAN be a good copy in high elo too, it's just that bastion himself isn't that great at higher elo, so he's likely not going to be on the enemy team to pick, and you still have to be careful about Hanzo and other things that pose a threat to a Bastion. (in high elo if you're gonna copy bastion, it needs to be _after_ he has used turret and hopefully killed nothing, otherwise you prolly just die/lose). That said, if you play him aggressive enough you can get value from it. Just make sure to take any high ground you want to use as him BEFORE copy, as jumping as bastion is a waste fo the grenade and copy time. Also, don't be BEHIND them, that will stop working in gold. Use an off angle (i.e. 45~90 degree angle from your team) Abuse height/high ground, and remember to Shoot > sticky > shoot > copy if you're going all in for an aggressive backline play. If you're GOING to give up your life for it, you need to kill 2 people or _at least_ get a favorable trade.

As a new player in ow2 honestly wasn't really that interested in this character because all the players who play it was ez to kill as a dps main even as a support but i really changed my mind about this character after whatching ur vids and am starting to have alot's of fun with this character. This character is so good even when ur team is getting destroyed u can flank the other team widow or support and do some serious damge.
From watching some streams, I know part of the secret is also having patience and reminding one self it's not that serious ... and that Diamond randoms are awake while most top 500 are sleeping.
tell me if i’m wrong, but when you have flight mode look for assassinations, when you don’t, stay in the back line. having said that the cooldowns are very fast and she makes for an excellent assasian
CD so fast you can't juggle from backline back to the front every time, so rather: use cooldowns as combinations and play corners / rooftops as much as possible unless in a full-on assassination.
I don’t think people understand how phenomenal the aiming he displayed, especially at long range, WHILE MOVING. That is NOT easy at all for controller players :(
Hello Samito, great guide thank you, i do have a question tho on a little subject you didn't cover, Is it worth using copy to survive a duel, it would be situational i think regarding how many teammates are alive perhaps? but i'm curious to hear your opinion on it
yes. using copy to win a duel is a good trade, then hopefully gain the ultimate to snowball, if not then just cycle your cd's right after. he does this against soldier to cap first point
Technically he did mention it, just not directly. Use copy to get an extra set of cooldowns when needed, Think of that ultimate like a resource (like you would tracer pulse) instead of some huge team-fight winning ultimate (which it just isn't anymore)
I personally find toggle flying much better, it just easier to do when you don't have to hold shift to fly, and when you need a boost, you can just double press it, it takes some practice before you can get it right though

The best tip I found for playing echo on console without swapping buttons, and this is legit like the back bone of my playstyle as a masters level echo that didnt swap their buttons around is your bombs actually give you a second of flight without needing to hold down your jump button to stay afloat so you can use this to then line up your bombs and land your shots to hit your 1 shot combo. Ofc this is only useful to the small percentage of echo mains that dont wanna swap their buttons around but it's still a cool thing to know as echo in general I think. I also love to see even in top 500 supports still cant keep track of their echo 😂 seeing samito struggle to get heals while standing next to his supports is concerning, I figured when I was in gold that when i hit masters that supports would be good enough to hit me in the air and always have me on their mind for when I drop in for heals but I hit masters and I still dont get healed that often and now I'm watching samito have the same problem in top 500 so that crushes my dreams of ever getting healed as echo without it being a pocket lol and mercy honestly can be more of a liability to echo since echos playstyle is more flank oriented and having a giant beam showcasing your positioning isnt the best for flanking.
Do you also think its a good idea to use your height to ping enemy locations? Ive notice that when I do this it helps prevent enemy ganks a bit more often.
Hello! :D I know you've slowed down on OW content, but I just wanted to say that this is the best guide that I've watched. My ADHD has me hyperfixating on Echo and she is really fun. I couldn't figure out how to play her very well, but even almost a year later you've helped so much with boosting my skill and confidence with her. Thos it is a little hard to translate everything to every map :/. Thank you so much for this guide and good luck with Hypixel! (that is the server right?)
I haven't watched this video completely but I need to add some notes for you to help your content a bit in the sense of what would've been good for me to understand. I'll edit them as needed. When you were explaining what heroes to copy are good or not, a tiered list helps greatly. It makes it more visual and easier to comprehend in the sense of what blocks of heroes to avoid completely. And if they're organized per block by their category (tanks, DPS, supps) it's a plus.
copy i think is the funniest ult in the game. 90% copy is just using another characters ult, 10% of the time its just a self heal but i think both echo and her ult has the highest skill ceiling in the game (including widow, cause you can literally copy her).
I like to copy ram while in air and drop on them after throwing orb and then punch, usually leads to ult v fast but gotta watch for sleep darts. Also kinda toxic lowkey
im brand new to overwatch and i main echo and casady does anyone have any tips for either of them i play on xbox so i know thats a little different but i was hopeing someone could tell me how to do the back dash
So the settings menu change already and I think I found it but I still don't understand the hold for flight so you have to hold shift or the the power just stop, spacebar allows you to go up. Was it suppose to be like this ? why do I have to hold the power power and the spacebar when the normal setting is just press the power then use spacebar to fly already ? Really trying to understand this character I don't play DPS I was a Tank main in OW1 then change to support in OW2.
one quick thing you can implement instantly is to not hold down tri shot but to individually shoot your tri's, click each time you want to shoot so that you give yourself a mental buffer when you want to shoot
