Amen! Salvation is NOT a privilege or reward. If you can lose salvation due to sin, this makes it a privilege for the deserving. If I give an iPad to children who perform well in school and not to those who did badly, this is a reward. If I take the iPad away because a child performs badly, it is a privilege for his deeds. Perfection is required for Heaven. Not being mostly good. Jesus saves.

As a believer, I would tell my brothers and sisters to go and sin no more. But I won’t deny the fact that they have the free will choice to do so. We have just as much free will to live in unrepentant sin as we do to do good works. I would tell someone to repent of their sins to avoid chastisement from God, but never to be saved. If someone is living in unrepentant sin, I’m not going to fellowship with them, but I will never deny the gospel for them, because to deny the gospel for them would be to deny the gospel for myself. Pharisees like Young Don don’t want to accept the fact that someone with more sin than them will enter into Heaven before they do, Jesus even said that the publicans and harlots go in before the Pharisees. They’ll learn the hard way when they’re boasting in their works on judgment day :(

Hallelujah, Praise the Lord! The Heavens rejoice when another sinner has been saved. I too my friend had to humble myself last August 2023 as Onorato helped me realize my error as I was trusting in myself the sinner and not the savior. Onorato is truly a blessed disciple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and knows how to absolutely preach the word of God correctly.

He claims that saved believers cannot walk after the flesh, when the Corinthians(saved believers) received their very letter due to walking after the flesh. 🤦🏾♂️. If sinning "too much" causes you to lose salvation and then "getting back on the right track" restores it, like their logic implies, then we are all in a perpetual state of being born again and being unborn again, lol. What a weird concept. Thankfully that's not true. It's a one-and-done deal. It HAS to be because that's how much we fail God's standards every single day. It's almost like Young Don changes God's standard, which is moral perfection, to a more laid-back one where you can live some undefined grey area and God doesn't mind, just as long as you don't do the really bad stuff. Strikingly similar to a theistic unbeliever who rejects the Gospel and assumes he'll be magically forgiven by God because he doesn't do the really bad stuff.
Very common teaching, if not subtly different among different denominations. I used to be catholic. I was taught mortal sin caused me to lose my salvation and that the confessional/penance helped me get it back.

He used to struggle with that “Catholic guilt”, because it was imbedded into his mind that his sins weren’t forgiven until he confessed to, and and received forgiveness from a priest. I’m so thankful that he now understands and believes the gospel of Christ, and that purgatory is a lie and completely unbiblical.

Obviously not because he lost his life while commiting Sin, and yet there's no example like that in the Bible. God is a kind, patient, and loving God & it's his will that no man shall perish, but we have to stop acting like there aren't consequences for our actions. The Earth & the fullness thereof is the Lord's & that means even your own body. We don't have the right to take any life, even our own. Hello Ono, I've been watching your videos for the past few weeks and they have been a blessing. I used to sit on the lordship side for a while trying to convince myself it was the right way to be a Christian, but in the back of my mind I couldn't come to terms with how much is required of my works to prove my faith. One thing I notice about people who teach lordship salvation is the measurement of righteousness by which you live is always different from person to person. But now I know the truth and I don't fight with myself over so much confusion and fear thanks to users, like yourself and others, explaining the true meaning of God's grace. His Word is so much more clear now
I can look back now and since I had faith in Jesus I've noticed things I used that I never thought of before, but now bugs me !! I do it because I LOVE Jesus not because of my works but Jesus is changing me 🙏s

It's ALWAYS been about works and outward appearance for him. Being born again does not mean having a changed life. That type of thinking happens when you don't understand the duel nature of a believer. Nothing makes a rigid pharisee more upset than hearing that a person "living in sin" who has believed the Gospel is going to Heaven.
So true! It is the "spirit that quickeneth", the "flesh profitteth nothing" (John 6:63). Most people haven't considered the importance of this verse and understanding it correctly. Jesus is saying the mortal believer is not quickened (made alive), only the spirit of the believer is born of the Spirit (John 3:6). Our mortal person can be "transformed" by the "renewing" of our mind, but only if we yield ourselves to God through the direction of His word (Romans 12:1-4). Only our spirit in Christ is considered the "new creature". The spirit of the believer is "created in righteousness and true holiness" (Eph. 4:24), not the 'natural man" which was "sown in weakness" (1 Cor. 15:42-43).

The problem with a lot of believers is they refuse to look at and research the context of why and when a particular verse is written so they take the whole thing at face value and use it as some justification to control others. For example the verse many love to use to disparage women teachers. They fail to look at the context and tell themselves that they have absolute control over women and thats just not true or right at all. The context for that verse is in regards to paul writing letters to timothy. Timothy was building a church and the ones footing the bill were 3 very wealthy women. They thought because they footed the bill that they could make all kinds of demands and restrictions to Timothy in regards to how the church would be run. Paul was in his letters essentially telling Timothy he needed to grow a pair and stop letting these particular women make demands just because they gave him the money he needed. Paul was telling him to stand up for himself. However theres some believers who only take the verse at face value and that is disingenuous and intellectually dishonest.
It is so sad how easily one can be deceived. How does Don deal with verses like, "Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him."? It is so simple. The publican and harlots will enter first ,but at the same time, when they enter the kingdom, they won't be publicans and harlots any more. Because, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

This verse in Christ is in the passive Voice which means the subject the one believing receives the benefit of the verb rather than producing it. If it were the active voice the subject would produce the new life but it isn't. This goes perfectly with grace we don't earn it we don't deserve it it's a grace of God that gives it to us

I don’t understand how they get this blind and can’t take the rebuke from the actual scriptures. I have an idea (corruption in their “bibles,” traditions over scripture, infiltration by ecumenism, and self righteous delusions of grandeur) but can’t be certain. I pray they all come to a knowledge of the truth, and all see the error of their ways. It took diligent study, and being shown Romans to come out of Mormonism. Works based salvation is so much harder, and is what turns people away from Christ. The simplicity of the gospel and the realization that I couldn’t do it was a hefty burden lifted. It has also garnered quite a bit more studying of the word of God, but not as much as I should. It also helps with self reflection, recognizing when I’m wrong, and thanking God when I learn new things. Knowing that I will stumble but understanding grace is what grounded me. Everyone’s growth will be different. Some don’t grow, but I thank God for sending my Lord Jesus in my place. Like I’ve said, “I’ll be happy if I am the janitor in heaven.” I have been rewarded unjustly, and for that I will fall down and worship forever.

That's because you have the truth of Jesus Christ within you. Your faith in Him has saved you and you have eternal life. Even if your faith is weak, Jesus says faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains.
Trust me when I say you're doing ok. My faith feels withered and weak too but the best we can do is try to hold onto Jesus as best we can. We don't have to know every verse by memory or do all these great works to prove to others what we believe. We just need to believe in the finished works of Jesus and that's it. Let Jesus do the rest and we just need to try and trust him in that.
The debate between once saved always saved and losing my salvation when i commit my next sin about drove me to a loony bin. At this moment in time i rest in the promise of Jesus and yes when i look at my past is is a hard grind. But Jesus lived a life i could never live. He was crucified by evil men and shed his blood on that cross to pay my sin debt. It is almost to good to be true. But at the end of the day it is the only hope i have. And by the way i am not molesting children robbing people and other wicked acts. God disciplines his children .Sometimes rather harshly. We all reap what we sow so people aren't getting away with anything.
Paul never said the believing man sleeping with his step mother was losing salvation. "He said he was delivering this man to satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be SAVED in the day of the Lord" Don you sound exactly like the pharisees who gloat in their righteous works and put everyone else down. The gospel of Jesus Christ, the fact that he paid for absolutely every single one of our sins, has extreme implications. Ppl like Don don’t like those implications but they forget the reason why they’re even possible (cause Christ accounted for our sins, not us)
right, flesh cannot accept righteousness coming from God. flesh must be self-righteous. therefore God must affect faith. nothing from people or flesh. also flesh is tied to law and is law. God pure more meaning in the words than just what is visible to flesh eyes. for kingdom is inside you, not coming in visible way. God is the promised Spirit.

As the man said, there are those who believe that you can accept Christ and be born again. Then renounce the faith, no longer believe, die as an unbeliever. And because you made that decision once in your life long ago accepting Christ, you are still saved. If that is you believing in that, you are so clueless that it's to your shame.
You are clueless to the record that God gave us about his Son. There is nothing in the scriptures that says what you said. If you believe on Christ, you know you have eternal life right now. If you don't believe you have eternal life, then you didn't believe the record God gave us about his Son. There is nothing you can do in your life afterwards that would make you lose your eternal life. Eternal means forever. Whatever you do in your flesh there are consequences in this life. "Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." You are looking at the flesh and the physical temporal world to justify you. The spirit is born again not the flesh. It's not our business to judge those outside, but if the only thing that separates us from those outside is belief, then why judge those inside? Why should we remove the leaven? What is the leaven we should remove? All you did was say you agree with shunning, because there are consequences to sin, which include being kicked out. But if you don't need to repent of your sins why is there a consequence of being kicked out, or even dying as you mentioned? How is this free gift if you are punished if you don't repent and keep sinning? Jesus already paid for your sins, so it doesn't matter what you do. And death? It's only a punishment for unbelievers. We are in fact promised persecutions and beheadings. Death is not a punishment for believers. I guess i just don't understand this free grace teaching of yours. Jesus died before any of us was born and commited our sins. Our sins were paid for before we comitted them, so why do we need to believe to be saved? This sounds like work based salvation. By the way, are we not told to repent of our sins? 'Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand'. What are we to repent from if not our sins? And if salvation is by faith alone and grace alone, why bother correcting 'lordship salvationers'? If they believe Jesus is the Son of God and he died and ressurrected on the third day, aren't they saved anyway? So even if they convince someone, as long as te person also believes in Jesus and the ressurrection they would be saved anyway. Since sin don't matter neither does wrong doctrines.

The scripture Young Don used is a strange one to use for his point. The Conrinthians were sexually immoral and drunkards (getting drunk at the Lord's table), plus many other sins, so they actually fit the description of those that will not inherit the kingdom of God. But Paul tells them that they are not in that category anymore. So, the category of sinners that Paul lists cannot be Christians living in gross sin. However, in my opinion you cannot get away with living in gross, wilfil sin as a Christain. Our Father will chastise us if we do, like he did indeed do to the Conrinthians by taking some of their lives early (1 Corinthains 11). That's why it says in Galatians God is not mocked!

The argument is simple even outside of Scripture, you cannot say you truly believe in God, literally the divine creator of the universe, be filled with the Holy Spirit and not be changed. Nobody is saying you have to be perfect, but this is clear. I cant call somebody a brother in Christ just because they say " im a christian " lol, tell me why you are, show me. Again, this isnt a joke, how can you say you truly believe in Jesus Christ, understanding the gravity of such a claim, and not at least feel guilt for your sin? Not try to be better? The argument was never that you will never commit a sin again, i fall every day. But the " you dont have to do anything " is CLEARLY from satan. Because even though yes were saved by our Lord Jesus, there is a clear expectation from him, unto us to do good works by the Holy Spirit, that He has ordained for us. Saying otherwise, even with " good " intentions is as dangerous as saying that your works determine your salvation.
I've had similar issues, but after years and years of praying to JESUS I'm finally having more sober days then drunk days. I come from a broken home and was abused to. It wasn't the churches that have helped me, but JESUS is. I'd say just keep praying, keep asking the Lord. There was a time where I couldn't even make it home after work before I'd drink. I would stop at a store grab pint and 20oz coke, pour half the coke out and fill it back up with whiskey then proceed to drive home. Also while drinking and driving home I would at the same time drive with my knee on the freeway so I could hit the weed pipe. I thank God i never got a DUI or wreck, or worse hurt someone else. I did all this after I was saved. So i dont know if this helps or not, but i just wanted to say keep praying

I personally don’t think he is. He went from teaching free grace all the way to teaching the Mosaic Law overnight, that doesn’t happen. It reminds me of Judas when he betrayed Jesus. One day he’s hanging out with Jesus and his disciples, and the next he betrays Jesus. There will be a change, but it's not because of some expectation of some vague standard we have to arrive at. And, as someone who believes in eternal security, i affirm the true scripture which says the grace of God will teach us to deny ungodliness. But what lordship/legalists believe, such as Young Don, is way different than what you're saying, they preach an impossible standard with vague parameters, and no actual assurance.
Okay, the question is how much change? How much change should people have the right to expect from us? What if there is a change that people witness but then there is another change later on, say 10 or 15 years later? Does the first change count or as long as there is at least one change? What are the specific changes we are to expect to see? How can we tell if the change we see is really a deception and we are fooled? Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice same on me? Can you share with us your subjective metrics that you use to expect people to change? This is getting interesting.
JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, NO ONE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT WAS BORN AGAIN. You keep using OT verses when you are talking about people who are born again. No one was born again until Jesus sent the Comforter. You cannot use the OT to justify your false belief that Jesus does not change you when He saves you. Nobody in the OT was born again. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells you that if Jesus hasn't changed you, Jesus hasn't saved you. When Jesus saves you, you will not live the same way you did before because Jesus changes you. YOU DO NOT CHANGE YOURSELF, Jesus Christ changes you. He pulls you out of the world. Ono is right on point with scripture, and if you can’t see that, then you’re the one in error. “No one in the Old Testament was born again.” Then why does Romans 4:3 say that Abraham was counted as RIGHTEOUS ? And why does 1 Samuel 28:19 say that King Saul went to Heaven to be with Samuel? Why were all of the Old Testament prophets allowed to write scripture if they were unregenerate? The Bible says no one can please God without being regenerated (Romans 8:8-11). It’s describing people like you who were trusting in their works to save them. John 6:40 literally tells you what the will of the father is, which is to believe on Christ. Many are going to be boasting in their works saying “Lord, have we not done these wonderful works in your name?” And Jesus will say depart from me. They’re bringing up their works because that’s what they were trusting in to save them. The only requirement for salvation is to believe on Christ for your salvation. How To Be Simply Saved. 1. The bad News. We are sinners. (Romans 3:23.) We deserve to be punished in hell for our sins. 2. The Good News. Jesus Christ who is God’s Son died on the cross for all of your sins. He was buried & rose again to give you eternal life in heaven as a free gift. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Romans 6:23.) 3. How am I saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31.) 4. Once saved, always saved. Jesus said in John 6:47. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Do you believe that you are saved by grace and promised heaven because Jesus died for you? Yes_ No_.

You’re asserting that the Holy Spirit is not capable of working out sins in our lives over time??? If a person is born again they should not only change their mind but also their ways.

You all better be careful thinking you can do whatever you want. "When you try to twist things around for your benefit, you're wrong" I recommend checking out Karl Falken's testimony or Howard Pittman.
Obviously even unbelievers don't think they can do whatever they want without consequences. We are justified freely by God's grace through Christ, and we shouldn't go around advocating for committing sin. Everyone literally does whatever they want every day. I recommend you check out what the Word of God says about grace and not some man out there giving testimonies that contradict the Word of God.
