Just discovered you guys, I'll track down the podcast. Similarly I attempted to quick charge a nimh pack on my TX which while flying my ST ARF back in 2010 the pack went prematurely "flat" and I stuffed into the ice on a lake near Madison WI. Still bothersome. Anyway its beautifully restored, lots o pics on RCG. That control hardware was a joke. Electrified I was able to drop roughly 2 pounds. If "nothing but nothing " as they say flies like the ST....electrified and very light its extraordinary fun. Loved the car crash! Merry Christmas 2023
Let me tell you bout my Telemaster. I've flown it "hands off". Got it in the air, set my trims and laid the radio down. The old saying, NOTHING FLY'S LIKE A TELEMASTER is 100% correct ! A Sig senior doesn't fly anywhere as good. The telemaster is a great trainer, hands down. I had a Magnum 70 four stroke on mine and it sipped fuel..
I FLEW TELEMASTERS IN RC AIRSHOWS,, SOME REAL IMPORTANT THINGS I WISH TO SHARE, FIRST PUT RIDGED STRUTS for the wings, SECOND DONT OVER POWER IT, A OS MAX 60 IS PERFECT BALANCE AND THE PERFORMANCE INCREASES, AS IT IS NOT LIKE A STRING FOLLOWING A ROCK. I REALLY MISS THESE AND IT WAS MY FAVORITE TO FLY.. NEVER BE IN A TRASH CAN AROUND ME FOR CERTAIN IT WOULD BE REBUILT IN THE SAME WEEK I FOUND IT, even if i cant afford the radio and motor any longer
Been listening to the podcast for a couple of months now and it's good to see the TCST flying in all its glory. Now how can I get one of these fine machines. I like your choice of power for it.
