I am Lithuanian who lives in Ireland since 2006 , I just read the history of Lithuania and realised that my ancestors came from the Jutland Peninsula and from present-day Poland. Jutland ( the continental portion of Denmark and part of northern Germany ) there for now I have to go back to my ancestors land Denmark,Poland and Germany and claim that land as my own ? If we all go back so far into history and start claiming our ancestors lands world would be in complete chaos and it will finish.

It would be impossible for me to hate a child of any race or ethnicity. One Polish girl that died in the camps was such an innocent little harmless child, they took her picture shortly after shaving her head. Her name is Czeslawa Kwoka, it's impossible to forget her terrified little face. You can google her name.

I married and lived in Beirut in '68 onwards until '74. I went with a party of friends to visit the ancient city of Baalbek. On the way we passed a refugee camp of tents (not breeze block) tents which went on for miles and stretched to the horizon. These were the displaced Palestinians thrown out of their country for refusing to recognise the State of Israel on their land. I cried that day and many days after. Now all these years later I am still crying as the Israelis carry out the second Al-Nakba.

I think no matter the outcome of this war, Israel has done itself substantial damage and I don't believe Netanyahu can survive , politically . Antonio Guterres has called the deprivation of food, water, energy , fuel and medicine a War Crime and that's before the disproportionate response (revenge) has been adequately assessed for criminality, which I'm certain will indicate many violations .

I have interviewed WW 2 vets of Puerto Rico's 65th Infantry Regiment. They liberated several concentration camps in 1944-45. Their principal job was to feed the Jewish victims before the latter starved to death. One of my interviewees was so traumatized that he became ill just by discussing the facts 45 yrs. later. I also remember a large group of Jewish refugees walking to a Long Island City, NY synagogue for Saturday services about 1950. They walked very quietly and seemed very sad.

Why do you blur the images of crimes and killings? Let the cruelty of people be clearly known. Don't worry about sensitive people. These events are the reality of human history.

The film like most films on this topic starts by commenting “It’s the story of violence on both sides”, “It’s the story of hatred on both sides”. However this is a deceptive comment, because it’s actually the story of Nazi’s and British intentionally sending the Jewish to Palestine to create the Israeli country to “manage their Jewish and Muslim problem” because they both knew that eventually they would fight with one another and cause constant destabilisation of the Middle Eastern countries, so these Jewish immigrants were an intentional sacrifice for geopolitical strategy of the British and Nazi’s to decrease Jewish population in the country and decrease Muslim population in the Middle East and sadly they both fell for their trick just like North Korea and South Korea as this is all just a strategy of these psychopathic colonial governments.

Hard to understand this irrational hatred of Jewish people over the centuries. Or toward so many different groups. People can be so fearful of the other.

It sounds scary, but there are too many parallels between today's Israel and the Third Reich. Both the nazis and the Jews refer to their historical rights and consider themselves the chosen people, they strive to defend and expand their lebensraum, on which their survival depends...Gaza has practically turned into the Kraków ghetto, and what is happening there is too reminiscent of the crystal night. Israel would have to ask itself which way it is going and on what it is building a home for its children, because in a home built on blood, extortion and violence, happiness is absolutely impossible.

A very good historical documentary showing the merits of the immensely suffered Jewish people has been conceptualized by the most of the commenters below as a story of the oppressed Arab rights. After World War II Germany was obliged to hand over Pomerania and Silesia to Poland. They should also hand over part of Germany rather then Palestine to the Jews whom they did not get to murder. The ideal place would have been Brandenburg. The Jews not yet murdered could have built a prosperous, viable state there and everyone would have been satisfied

It’s a well documented video. And it feels ill to the bone that how could barbaric Europeans do this vicious ethnic cleansing to another race? Moreover, after moving to Palestine how could the same victims do the ethnic cleansing the same way to the native Palestinians that they have become the refugees in the world? And the best way to say sorry is recognizing other’s pain and being empathetic. And if the pain is caused by your own actions, then stop repeating the same activities for good. It is clear from the conversations that very little land had been bought from the local Palestinians by Zionists. Otherwise, Palestinians would not have mentioned even in this documentary that a widespread injustice was happening against Palestinians from the very early years. Right after migration of Jews and long before World War II, pictures are preserved of how indiscriminately Zionist mobs gathered and kicked out Palestinians from their orchards and homes one by one without any compensation. Also immigrant Jews institutionalized from day one that Palestinians are foreigners in their own ancestral lands. All these brewed in later years that naturally Palestinians felt that why Palestinians had to suffer this inhumane way and give up half of their land to hostile and uncivilized Jews because of what the barbaric Europeans had done to European Jews. On top of it, Palestinians have been forced to flee their land through genocide which has been continued till today. How pathetic! Learn to be human and treat others as humans.
