I desperately want to understand salvation in Y’shua through Hebrew roots. I was raised to essentially not consider the 10 Commandments because everything in the old testament was an example for the New Testament. The focus was always on the New Testament and the Old Testament was taught as historically true stories. There’s so much lacking in my understanding of the “why’s” because christianity has been taught through the lens of Americanism. I’ve prayed that Yahweh would lead me to someone who could teach me through the lens of the Hebrew roots. He led me to your videos. Right now I’m going through the series of The Seven Feasts of the Lord. Each morning, I watch one video and with my Bible thoroughly take notes and look up each Scripture. I had already purchased the One New Man Bible. I am enjoying this so much❣️ Thank you❣️

Why does it say count 7 weeks and also 50 days? Is first fruits day one and Penecost also on the first day of the week?

Does first fruits change at all during a sabbath year of the land?

Matthew 27: 52-53 has been a passage that no one has ever addressed that I know of. It is a passage that I have wondered about for over 40 years. After hearing about the Jewish feast, especially the first fruits, are these saints part of the first fruits? It is interesting in that this passage states that after Jesus's resurrection they came out of the tombs yet this passage precedes chapter 28. your thoughts.

@holyscripturesandisrael The day of Holy convocation where no work was done is also considered a sabbaath. Given that, the sheaf to be waved after the morrow is the 16th. So that means Passover on the 14, Feast of Unleavened Bread to begin on the 15th (and last seven days), and the first day of this feast being a sabbath/holy convocation, then the day after the sabbath or holy convocation is the 16th where the omer is waved. That's why Jesus had to rise the third day. Not because the third day was Sunday/first day of the week, but because it was the third day after the feast day sabbath or holy convocation. There is no holiness in "Sunday." Every year, the 16th of Nissan falls on a different day of the week. It so happened that in the year Jesus rose, the 16th was the first day of the week, which we call Sunday. It's important to note that when the ceremonial sabbath landed on the seventh day Sabbath then it was considered a high Sabbath. All that said, the resurrection and the Easter have nothing in common. Through the feast days, God pointed to the Messiah and resurrected One. Easter is calculated by the Sunday after the first full moon in the first Jewish month, which is not scriptural. Because you mention that Jesus had to rise on Sunday, I wanted to make that clarification. The 16th of Nissan is the true resurrection day. Christ fulfilled the work of the feast days. The only commands that remain is to keep the Sabbath day (weekly seventh day of the week) including all God's commandments, not to be saved but because we are saved, and to partake in the bread and the fresh grapes made into unfermented wine.
