The Seven Feasts of the LORD - The Feast of Passover (חָג פֶסַח)

I wanted to learn about God's Feast day,..which is more important to celebrate than any other celebration on earth made by worldly people..I was raised catholic but wanted to learn more about Jesus Christ..and I have realized Catholic is making people astray and away from the truth..

The whole congregation having to kill the lamb together makes me understand why the Israelites and the Gentiles together had to kill God's Lamb and thus becoming the great congregation.

Hi Mr. Gideon Levytam, my Messianic Christian friend. I have a question which have confuses me as a Gentile *(Chinese Christian) for many years. Was the Feast of Passover (Hebrew: (חָג פֶסַח) CHaG PeSaCH) celebrated by our Lord Jesus Christ on the evening of the 13th Nisan at ""dusk or twilight"" (Hebrew: הָעַרְבָּֽיִם בֵּ֥ין BEYN HA-ARBBAYIM = BETWEEN the TWO EVENINGS) BEFORE the 14th Nisan (a Jewish Day began at Sunset) as the majority of the Christian Church believed and have taught or was it celebrated by Him and his disciples on the evening of the 14th Nisan at dusk or twilight . (Hebrew: beyn hā·‘ar·bbā·yim = BETWEEN the TWO EVENINGS) BEFORE the 15th Nisan = a High Day or the Annual Sabbath, the First Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread)? This passage in John 19:31~32 seems to indicate that the latter is SCRIPTURAL, WITHOUT ANY CONTRADICTIONS and IS 100% CORRECT! Now then, since IT WAS THE DAY OF PREPARATION , to prevent the bodies from remaining on the cross ON THE SABBATH (for THAT Sabbath was a HIGH DAY (Greek: μεγάλη Megale = Mega or Great in English), the Jews requested of Pilate that their legs be broken, and the bodies be taken away. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first man, and of the other who was crucified with Him; but after they came to Jesus, when they saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. This shows that the Crucifixion was NOT on the Daylight Part of the 14th (Passover Day) as we have often assumed because Christ is also named as a type of our Passover Lamb (Greek: G3957 πάσχα Pascha) sacrificed for us by Paul in 1 Corinthians 5:7) but on the NEXT day, the Daylight Part of the 15th, which was also THE DAY OF PREPARATION (Greek: G3905 Παρασκευὴ PARASKEVE) which is FRIDAY the (SIXTH) DAY BEFORE the Sabbath, the SEVENTH DAY or the Weekly Rest day of the Jews which is SATURDAY (the 16th Nisan) according to Mark 15:42 as stated here below. "Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, (Greek: Παρασκευὴ PARASKEVE) THAT IS, THE DAY BEFORE the SABBATH. *WEEKLY SABBATH or SATURDAY REST DAY or the SEVENTH DAY. What do you think? Could Jesus Christ (Hebrew: YeHSHua> HaMMoSHiaCH) our Passover Lamb Sacrificed for us OCCURED NOT EXACTLY on the 14th or PASSOVER DAY BUT INSTEAD ON THE 15th Nisan as the Scriptures state in John 19:31~32 and as Alfred Edersheim, a Jewish Christian Scholar maintained and defended in the APPENDIX of his Book, Pages 246 to 251 entitled ''THE TEMPLE : ITS MINISTRY AND SERVICES AS THEY WERE IN THE TIME OF JESUS CHRIST. The second Adam had taken the place of first Adam, whose sin was over the human race and over the entire earth. He died in first Adam's place, to release all mankind from the enslavement of sin and death to Satan. Through the first Adam, we all cut off and died spiritually, but through the second Adam we were given spiritual life and reconciled to the Creator. Adam sold his birthright over the earth to Satan, when he took that forbidden fruit, making a covenant with Satan, cutting himself and his children from the Almighty One. The Messiah took that birthright back in the wilderness and will reclaim that birthright in his second coming. Everything belongs to the Almighty One, He gave this earth to man, to be under his care. But man gave that lease to Satan, being in charge over earth and everything in it. Satan became a god over the earth in Adam's place, when he took over his birthright. Adam and the Messiah are sons, created in the IMAGE of their Creator ... making them gods over this earth. That's also why David called him lord!!! He was lord of lords, and king of kings!!! But only the Father is God of gods!!! This title was NEVER given to the son, the Messiah and the great high priest of the Almighty One.
