That was his swag back then and that’s how real men could joke and not b so sensitive and get mad about everything now.. something simple like this guys having fun would TRIGGER some fruit baby..
Hell yea Skip knew what he was doing! Stephen A can probably talk more sports and talk more proper than Sharpe but Skip knew his personality would sale
His comedic timing is flawless. On the "restitution" line, he waits for the crowd to settle down, and then repeats it for maximum comedic effect. That's an instinct man, bravo!
playaflywill27 gotta WORD it different,we all SEE what he wearing..very stereotypical,,we don't KNOW his race..very stereotypical and racist statement..you reminisce over old rap videos..what he wearing has nothing to do with the impersonation..thats just silly
When I heard Goose had passed this the first thing that came to mind. I laughed so hard my stomach hurt. That team was magical and Goose was its ❤️. #RIPGOOSE
Honestly today's style is from the past. The way they cut their hair and the skinny Jean's it's all from back in the day. It's all a rerun and a remix.
There's nothing better than the ability to laugh at oneself. This is a lost art. People are all sensitive & SH!! nowadays Toughen Up. Shannon was dying from laughter
@@Lwill0 this era is sensitive but older eras did not joke around like this. It would have been considered blatant disrespect to joke about a person like this. Only in modern times did this become okay so you can argue that most era's before were sensitive
It’s no wonder they were such a great squad. Their chemistry is through the roof! The way they react is so authentic and over the top because they’re all just like these best friends who feed off of each others positivity. That’s the key
This happened at the Best Western in Westminster, MD. Ya boy was a young 20some year old maintenance man there, one of two, my Uncle being the lead. Dat wallpaper and carpet look good af don't it? LoL. Some of the best times in my life, meeting those guys. Great group of guys. One thing I'll always remember is right before the season when camp was over and they were about to leave, Mr. Modell would send an assistant to us with stuff like a signed football, players practice stuff they didn't need anymore (wristbands, gloves, etc). And one year, the package included a real Cuban Cigar. Took me a month to smoke it, lol, kept in in the car. But as much bad that's been sad about Art, from my experience, he was a very kind and generous person.
A lot of people are like "it is great Shannon can laugh at himself" but man he is LOSING IT, he thinks it is the best, unlike a roast where people laugh and clap. He's jumping around loving it. There is laughing at yourself, then having a blast like he was, Very great guy. I bet his Grandmother told him something about people impersonating him
As a diehard Patriots fan I wholeheartedly agree. I have a lot of respect for that organization. Especially Ed Reed, who I believe is the BEST safety of all-time.
Literally the fact that he nailed his impression so perfectly and Shannon wearing a fisherman’s hat is so much funnier like literally if I replayed it I would die laughing everytime
I just saw this on the "Bullies of Baltimore" 30 for 30 and Tim came to the reunion taping reprising Shannon and he still was on point with the impression
2001 - Tim Johnson (age 23) Ray Lewis (age 26) Shannon Sharpe (age 33) all looked like they came in the same age range. This video still makes me laugh when I come across this. I may not of watched this in the past ( I was young and did my own thing) but this is a feel good vid.
So he gets the EPIC roast here, arguably the best roast in NFL history THEN American guy makes fun of him and kills him off in a funny af classic ep. That is too dope! Awards are cool, but this type of stuff defines honor and respect.
