We dump mega tonnes of plastic every where and burn coal and oil in massive quantities and this IS chocking our planet and not just global warming that is one of many issues we face.

@Constantine Palaiologos I am in agreememt with you. The issue causing population decline is the emancipation of females. I don't think any logical person would say that the answer is to stop educating them and lock them in the bedroom. (some might?), but there has to be a greater attitudinal shift towards family making. That means less focus on individualism - it's all about me, me, me - and a shift back towards altruism. Placing the child in the centric position within the relationship.
Children are expensive as Hell.. Either have children and live in Poverty, or don't have children and live a comfortable easy life. these are the Options
I chose the latter and am enjoying the fruits of that choice. I'm 65 and will never be able to spend all the savings I have. If I had had a wife and a couple of kids I'd likely be living in poverty and trying to find work as a greeter at Wal-Mart.
@@johnmiller7453 You are the stereotypical member of society when researchers talk about there being a shift towards individualism and away from altruism. It's a generational shift towards selfishness. It is expensive to have children in the USA, but in Europe. Come on, it is not so.
