We're absolutely thrilled to share that The Shark is Broken will swim into Broadway's Golden Theatre on July 25th this summer!
Written by and starring Ian Shaw as his father Robert, and directed by Guy Masterson, the play picks up our three stars, Robert Shaw (Quint), Roy Scheider (Brody), and Richard Dreyfuss (Hooper), on the hull of the Orca, while their mega co-star is being repaired, yet again. The small ship cannot contain their frustrations, or egos, and the sharpest teeth on set turn out not to be the 25 foot man-eater’s.
Plenty of laughs and chum in the water for the cinephiles and Jaws fans, what could be a better summer blockbuster than a play about the first summer blockbuster. So get your swimsuits ready, because July 25th, Shark week officially starts, on Broadway!
