This is the fourth episode of a limited series. I was able to acquire vintage aftershaves that I remember fondly of my father using. I will post this series every Sunday and Thursday with the final episode on 06/16 Father's Day.

Thanks for the stories👌 your brother story reminded me of one event that happened when I was really young when I got whooped for something my brother did and Dad found out it wasn't me afterwards and said to me that the whooping was for what I was going to do tomorrow...😂 ... My brother didn't get whooped neither...😟

Another great classic scent and awesome original box 🤠 Coincidentally I also was pif'd a 1950 SuperSpeed by a fellow Aussie shaver, the razor is the same model my Dad used when I was young in 1950s. Take care brother 👌😎👌

If i was to ever get a tattoo it would be Walt Kelly's Pogo character. It was his favorite cartoon besides Peanuts. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Cheers -Kevin W

Bary, great review and I love the curtains! Much better background. 😊 I use Brut still and love it. I will have to try A&E's 60s cologne. I use Brutus from WetTheFace and it's smells like Brut as well. When I was young, if my Mom said my full first name Samuel sternly I knew I was catching a few slaps😅

Yes! Full first names as well. Another tell tell sign to be prepared lol. I havent tried Brutus. Ill check it out. I do have Et Tu from PAA. It is a dead ringer for Brut as well. It is seasonal though so you have to catch it when it is out.

Oh yeah! My momma would use my middle name I knew she was getting the belt. I tried putting on 3 pairs of shorts under my pants. She saw them when I bent over and laughed and made me stay bent over for like 10 minutes. That was my punishment that time. She was laughing so hard. Thanks for sharing Bary and nice shave!

I have a fatboy, a British made Parat Rocket superspeed, A 40s style USA super speed, The black handle silver flare tip super speed in this video, and a couple older Gillettes I havent used yet. Just be patient and wait for good prices. Also check your local antique shops. I have picked up a couple there for under $20.

Bary, I went and purchased a modern version of Brut yesterday based upon your video. After smelling it, it reminded me of my father’s shaving. The scent is unforgettable after 50+years. I know I mentioned my father also used Hai Karate. I actually purchased a bottle of HK on eBay. That fragrance had a deeper memory. It actually has an instruction sheet that explains what to do about the women that attack you after applying it. I actually chuckled. I will need to scan it and send it to you. It is what today would class as sexist and I cannot argue that. It is rather funny though 😅.

Hai Karate was the silliest, yet most iconic fragrance of the 60's and 70's. You should search some of the old HK commercials lol! That is awesome Brut unlocked those me.ories for you! And still today such a great budget friendly scent.
