🗣️🗣️🗣️ Wow! After all these years I never saw this episode of Sanford and Son featuring the late, great Ms. Janet Dubois! I believe that she was truly unsung and did not get her just due in accolades in the entertainment industry! 🌟🌟🌟 She was very gifted and talented; she ranked among the best! Kudos to you Ms. Dubois! You are missed! 💐💐 💐✨💕💕💕❤️🌹🌺 💜
That was his brother name his brother died right before the show started so he had the producers to change his name on the show in honor of his late brother Fred G Sanford
I had the pleasure of meeting this woman while working at the Hyatt Regency downtown Houston. So sweet. Assisted her on multiple days and she never forgot my name not once. I have a signed beverage napkin from 1987 from her.
Her acting in this scene was phenomenal with the pacing (letting the audience react with laughter) and still making the dialogue feel real and natural leading into dropping the bomb on him. 👌
Yes I am blessed to still watch Sanford and Son from Midnight to 2:00 a.m.😅 I used to have to pay for it on cable but thank the Lord Jesus I don't do that anymore I found a free station😅❤
It brings back happy memories for lots of us too. But remember after Foxx had that fight with producers over how Lamont talked to him, they changed writers and that's when show stopped being so funny.
@FreethinkingPharoah That was the wrong choice of words. The word should be outraged. Sure, there were complaints from both the black and white communities, but the situations were put in perspective, which added shock value to force behavioral changes in both groups.
Because in those days, MOST of the lifetime sitcoms were live. So, there were NO cut, let's DO that ONE again. You had to have talent, and ALL of those actors and actresses, were VERY talented indeed.👍 Osu!🥋👊🥊
This was FREE TV. All the best shows lived in the 70s❤&partial 80s. The Jeffersons, Good Times, Happy Days, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Brady Bunch, All in the family, ABC Afterschool! Cosby Show, A Different World, Single Ladies, Living Single❤
Yes! I was shocked and broken hearted when he passed away.. When comedians and comedy were able to be about real life and just enjoyed without everyone making it political and personal.. ❤
Those sitcoms from the 70s and 80s were comedy at its best . Great writers and actor / actress... Thanks to all and to those who are not here anymore RIP.❤❤❤
You don't .. This is it...with your sister....another great scene was when he points his finger at her during dinner and says you don't tell me what to say in my own house and she says don't you point your finger at my nose Fred Sanford his response is I'll point my finger at your nose and I'll point my fist somewhere else in a minute...😂😂😂👍👖👚✡️🌹⚛️💖😻
