I've walked, I've exercised, I worked out with a trainer for 2 years, nothing stopped the obessesive thoughts of addiction, until I started on a low dose of 0.1ml per week. I feel like a normal person for the first time in my life. GLP1 peptides have been life chaging for me.

I’ve done my research, this is what I feel is right for me, the last thing I need is someone else’s giving me their opinion… I have hope this is will be a helping tool for me. 54, don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t eat fast food, don’t drink soda, do yoga 3 days a week and walk 30 minutes a day. I was so terrified trying ozempic a year ago because of the propaganda, suffering through another year of struggling with (and failing) my uncontrollable appetite and feeling depressed. Finally this year I decided to just give it a chance (0,25 mg prescribed), and finally feel awake and in control, getting healthier, leaner and happier by the day, eating healthy and going back out into life.

Sorry but I'll take the risks of Zepbound over being morbidly obese and all the risks that comes from that. Ever since Middle school I've been trying so hard to lose weight through diet and exercise. I was never able to keep that up through pure willpower alone. Having no food noise while taking Zepbound has been such a HUGE blessing.

I'm so pleased I've tuned into dr tyna. I started ozempic 2weeks ago and nothing I thought I was beyond help until this third dose and I now can understand this feeling of control something that was trained out of me as a little girl by abusive parents. I had to eat everything on my plate 1st 2 nd and 3rd course double helpings of sweets were never refused and the fatter I became and the less control I learnt. You will know the consequences . Now at 70 joints completely damaged U pleaded with dr to help me. And now I understand what being full is all about I love the feeling that enough is enough it seemed to change over night and now hopefully a yr from now I'll be half my weight and taking back my health and life thank Tyna for your support and guidance so important today . 👏LOVE Dr Tyna and how she communicates this information. I have been on a GLP-1 for almost 2 years now and before that I tried everything which included diet nutrition calorie restriction, always worked out my entire life, was always an athlete competed in gymnastics as a child and again as an adult, and still struggled with my weight my entire adult life. I have always struggled with appetite and satiety hormones. It wasn’t until, my doctor convinced me to go on a GLP-1 that I was finally able to feel in control and that all of the effort energy time discipline was finally have an effect. I lost 50+lb and GAINED MUSCLE. This is why I have put my story out publicly on RU-vid so that other people know what to do and feel empowered. I 100% agree that you still need to do everything else in your toolbox, which includes lifting weights, some cardio sleep stress management getting sunlight and of course eating mostly whole food high protein diet. I'm 71. As an RN researcher, I enjoyed your talk here. A few months ago, I started Ozempic for Type II DM. I noticed reduction of inflammation in the first month. I noticed my thinking is much clearer, and the evening food cravings are gone. I've only lost 10 pounds but I am not exercising like I did before getting sick. For years I have walked miles most every day and ate properly. I was overweight before I began walking and lost 60 lbs. Last year I had pandemic pneumonia and was on Prednisone and O2 for many months and couldn't exercise. I had major inflammation, especially in legs. I was stable on Glipizide and Metformin for years and gradually reducing it. but after pneumonia, my a1c went up to highest ever at 8.4.

Look at DOCTOR Tynas' bio in the show notes. VERY educated. She uses it on her patients AND she uses it on herself. FYI-Doug, Everybody does NOT KNOW what a 'good diet is'. Many factors involved in what someone 'thinks' is a good diet. Education is a must. Someone that thinks that everybody 'knows', shows that person is out of touch... with people just starting out to make changes.

Funny thing, we have always wanted a magic pill, we get a magic pill that helps with so many issues and then we talk negatively about having the magic pill. This being addictive is an interesting concern. There are so many UNHEALTHY people out here doing addictive things and we accept or empathize with them. But these GLP-1s have so many great properties. If someone becomes addictive, we need to work on the why? But that is in ALL things. To all who are out here doing what you can, be safe and be well.

In other podcasts she has said she won’t say what the dosage schedule because we need to work with our own doctors. But I have the same question. This pisses me off because i was on 4.5mg of Trulicity for like a year. Then i went through major stress for 4 months because I had to "save" someone who was overdosing and my lipase went up fairly high. They said the trulicity gave me pancreatitis and that was rare. I went to pubmed and it said extreme stress could raise lipase levels and I believe thats what happened. But my doctor says going back on Trulicity to see what happens is not recognized as a safe way of testing a return to it. He said you can get pancreatitis and die or suffer permanent damage. But can you? Or like last time would i feel it coming on early and could stop again? Not sure what to do or if there's a natural GLP-1 alternative?
