The Shocking Truth about The Swingers in the Villages Florida 

Have a house there for over 10 years. Never seen a sign of it, like the video said, its a "rumor". Like most things in life, there are always malcontents who like to tear good things down for whatever reason. Yes, I suspect that like every single community in the USA, there are some "swingers" in the Villages. But for the majority of people living here, its all about meeting people, keeping active and having some fun in our golden years. Nothing wrong with that.

Was this an Ad for the FL Villages? It seemed that it was more Ad based content than actual talk about swingers. If it is in the title, it would have been nice if you had actually talked to some people that were in the lifestyle. Otherwise, it seems kind of clickbaity.

The town squares are open to the public..You don't have to live in the villages to enjoy the music and dancing..We live in the villages full time...We have heard of so many rumors..Must of the people don't live in the villages...We are blessed to live in a great neighborhood...We have great friends who help one another..

If people are happy there, it's all ok with me. I like living close to the ocean and am not much of a dancer. At 75, these people seem to be having a great time. I'm happy for them.

I have an associate I met during my sophomore year of college. He jokingly told me he used to go to a place called The Villages after I asked why he travels to Florida often from Maryland during breaks or extended weekends. This is after knowing him for a little over a year and landing a class project project with him. He literally told me “getting ready for these student loans my boy”. After talking to him more he said that he was very close with a few women down there and they would “help” him from time to time. I couldn’t believe the age gaps when he told me. I was like bruh you are in your in your early tweeties hooking up with women of that age? Most of them you just describe are older than your mom even? He was like yea but none of them remind him of her and likewise when it comes to him and the women and their sons. They just wanted some good times with a young dude. But he was dead serious because with us going to an instate college he had money to wipe a good amount of his loans once he graduated and finished the rest in less than 2 years of working right after. I asked him how he did it and he said “I already explained. I wasn’t joking back then dude”. He said the combination of grants, instate rates and help from his friends down in Florida. Who knows if that type of activity is concentrated there but it’s wild I found this vid.

Most retirees will love The Villages. If you cant stand nonstop chit chat & hearing about the good ole days it's not for you. It's a busy crowded place. I left because I wanted the exact opposite. To each his own.

There was a whole documentary on this area. And it’s true. My cousin moved there and moved out about a year later because of that! Swingers are couples, not one person and a couple. It’s 2 couples together, that’s why you weren’t targeted.😊

I feel like I just watched a paid ad for the villages. Only the last few seconds addressed anything about the swingers controversy.

I think the "rumors" are a billion dollars worth of free marketing publicity. Remember what they say in Hollywood, "The only bad publicity is your obituary".

You can say it’s all a rumor but I’ve personally experienced and seen otherwise. If you don’t know the signs then you could miss the fact that your neighbors are hosting a “pig party” (look it up). But that little stuffed pig that just showed up on their lawn is NOT just a new decoration. And after the party it quietly goes away. This is the same for most of the “advertisements”. If you don’t know and aren’t interested then you simply aren’t going to notice, but the signs are literally right in front of your face. They’re just subtle and quiet.

So, I actually live in The Villages and a few years back a Couple was arrested for having public sex after hours in one of the town squares....it turns out that they were married..... but NOT to each other.... The story made the local newspaper, so, I will leave it to you to draw your own conclusions. 🤣😈

You are into this type of lifestyle or you are not. Not one is going to force you to share your spouse if you and her are not in to that sort of thing. I am sure you can find cases of swinging about anywhere you look just like you will find cheaters anywhere.

Yeah, the shocking truth is that it's a big crock of 💩. Half the guys at my church can't even walk, much less engage in high-intensity horizontal gymnastics. 😝 Oh, and the bath puffs on the car antennas ... the different colors are supposed to indicate different, ah, specialties. But why do they REALLY put the bath puffs on their cars? SO THEY CAN FIND THEIR CARS IN PARKING LOTS!! I think next time I go there I'll put half a dozen different bath puffs on my car and see if I get any looks.

Swingers, yes they are here IF you know what to look for. They will not come up to you and ask, you'll have to ask them, TV on the list of city's n fl with STD is 4th from the bottom on the list. Look it up. Single women do get hit on but by horney old men not swingers. The free STD clinic was closed 20 years ago. It was only opened cause someone read a story that wasn't true... and I agree the music is getting better

I have no idea if this "Villages Swinging" rumor is true, but swingers don't pick up a single random man in a bar. If anybody, I imagine cuckolding couples would do that. If you want to find out if there are swingers, you need to bring an attractive, age-appropriate woman along with you next time. And hit multiple places on multiple evenings.

I simply love that no matter the state or the country. There are always people passing along Stories of things they have no proof of. Oh, I heard so, and so did this, or that place is full of that. And the truth is no one knows shit from shinola.. There is a place called Sun City and oh, when we moved to th area. We were warned about the debauchery and goings on there. Now I don't know, don't car. I work up the road from the place, and the police pull security there. Never heard any of the police talk about much crime in there. So what the hell people. If consenting adults do their thing and no laws are broken. Quit tell lies about folk and areas you have n proof of anything especially diseases are anymore rampant than your on extended family.

I don't know about the villages but I do know for a fact that Florida is itself a prime hotspot for swingers, especially the Tampa area so I'm not sure if it's fair or accurate to limit the higher than normal std rate to just that place. My and girl used to go to Florida enroute to cruises. Just to be safe, we always got there the day before and book a room the night before the cruise. No matter what hotel we stayed at, EVERY TIME we got there we ALWAYS got propositioned by older white couples either in the hotel bar itself or if we decided to go out to a bar or show. 11 Trips. EVERY. TIME. Every couple that hit on us were married for at least 40+ years and seemed happy af, having the times of their lives and the best of friends. I learned enough from talking with them to understand it. I don't see a problem with that lifestyle and they told us that Florida is pretty much 'swing central' for all the U.S. Impression I got is that a lot of those people who were swingers before they retired all decided to live there and that's how they want to spend their retirement; getting nekkid and busy with each other and I get it, all good. It just sucks that the majority of them all seem to be trump loving nazi aholes now.

I don't know about swinging going on in The Villages but there certainly was a lot of swapping partners in that 55+ community my wife and I recently moved out of here in Chicago. That place had drugs, sex parties, lots of fights, a few deaths from ODs, and plenty of clicks and little Napoleons.

Friends did that but had to give it up since the damp cold at night bothered them. Sounds great eh?

I see all the time people being corrected because there is no 'P' in Sumter. Having to tell someone there is no 'N' in Sumter is a new one. You invalidated everything in this video by that error alone.
