Ronald Thompson hum are you sure ? I am quite sure I extinguished a fire on an AMX 40 this way (my tank burned twice and I use my extinguisher and the third time I went in a river and it stopped)
@Danny lifts Yeah I agree, one of the things letting War Thunder down is the somewhat repetitive 'lobby'-esque qualities. Games that are dynamic and last a few hours would be a lot more interesting to me.
Hah this is the only time I'm happy to be in low tiers for now. But honestly repair costs make the game more realistic and I think they should remove it for arcade games only.

probably not because its a visual thing that helps players see if their planes engine is working. (dumb i know) but it is useful helps keep your eyes more in the center of the screen rather than on the side top.

Remove repair costs from the game altogether. MechWarrior: Online did it, War Thunder can do it too. No excuses to keep this outdated and hated mechanic in the game. And don't make us wait for it to be repaired in the hangar either.
War thunder has it in the game to make things more accurate, and to punish players who cant keep their vehicles from being destroyed. A 50% reduction would be reasonable. If you are complaining about the repair costs your likely just not good enough to keep your vehicle from being destroyed.

The AMX-40’s play style is a support tank at 10.0. Can’t play like an Abrams and run around with your head cut off lol. But hey, ez claps at when downtiered to 8.7 ❤️
Why???? Its been so long now and air RB hasnt changed alot. So many useless planes get ignored, beaufighter and swordfish etc planes yknow, that are in the tech tree but you almost never see them in RB matches. This game is way too centered around getting kills. People will even fight their teammates over kills and some childish ones will rant in chat and teamkill cause of this false idea that someone "stole your kill" when in fact your objective as a whole is to defeat the enemy team, that's why it is called team deathmatch. Honestly. Why cant we have more objective oriented gameplay? Why can't we? We could have missions where we escort 30 dive bombers against a carrier fleet. We could have a night factory bombing mission against night fighters... We could have a mission where we must destroy b17 bombers in me 262s etc etc but you are probably going to tell me to make a custom battle, that's not the point of this post. The post is meant to shine light on air RB which has potential to become more fun.
@Qvor Marinov It will work if players got rewarded for flying in formation, to prevent exploiting. The formation flying reward should only be given out if the formation is completing the objective
Both overall graphics and damage models get continuously updated through-out the year. Recently there has just been a large change to most bomber damage models, making them tougher, and require significantly longer guns-on-target time to successfully damage enough to ensure that they will go down. With the current issues with granting kills/assists in air RB, fighters often have to stay much longer on the bomber than necessary, to make sure it dies instantly and gives RP/SL reward.
@@Ragnaroz6000 Haven't noticed anything new about the bombers but they might have made changes to them as you suggest. Engine and fuel fires still look the same since idk a really long time and they could look better than balls of fire that spawns 5 times per second. On the damage models they really have to fix the elevators on many planes because they get shot of both of them at the same time and fly down sticking together magicly. that means that when only one should get destroyed both are destroyed kinda bs to me. this was just a fast responce cuz im in a hurry tight now
When will the XM-1s be moved to 9.3, the T-55AM to 9.0, and the Leopard L/44 to 9.0? They absolutely do not deserve their current battle ratings, it has to be higher for better balance. Gaijin please

Would it there be a chance of customizing your tank like another interface with new objects to place and the abilty to delete some other things like mud guards or canvases it would be nice to make your tank stand more from the croud , historiclaly accurate of course , i always wanted to place crates or external modules on my tiger .btw sry for broken english.
Actually, im fond of the notion of adding more utility oriented units. Landing craft, engineering units that can actually alter terrain, troop transports with capture and repair buffs, etc. Warthunders 2 claims to fame are/were realistic performance and combined arms. Im still waiting to take my PT boats up river but with the battleship rumors it seems my dream of hosing tanks along the shoreline are dying

you can blame some clown who screwed up the speed limit conversions when we trialed it: the signs had decimal points (like, 104.3kph instead of, say, 60mph), making them look too strict
I think somewhen these myths will see a place on War Thunder Channel 1. Can you insert a high-caliber shell to a Tiger 1 driver's optics, that it doesn't activate an igniter of explosives? 2. Can you dodge a shell (not be missed) from lees than 600 meters? If it's possible, try with smaller distances. 3. How many plane parts can be damaged easily, such as wing ends or engine, before a plane is recognized as destroyed? 4. Can you make a tower from tanks, where tanks can shoot accurately and guy on top doesn't have to press forward, when guy at the bottom moves? 5. "Chaika" (this Soviet biplane on first era). Can it fly with a speed of at least 600kph? Try to use WEP, fall from extreme altitudes and this everything on Arcade because of safety rules. Will you be reworking the bomber gameplay at any time in the near future? Like maybe make it so you spawn with a small AI formation and be able to issue orders to them such as “hold fire”, “open fire”, “drop bombs”, and “continue on mission”.
Dear gaijin I have some suggestions of how you could change the economy in high tier to make the experience a bit funnier (all of what im writing is from my perspective and everybody reading this might not agree). But first of all i think you should decrease the repair cost of pretty much all tier 6 vehicles so that you dont just lose money when playing at high tier tanks which drag down the fun ingame because it fells like youre just going backwards. And my second suggestion is that you increase the silverlion gain on the tier 6 vehicles so you get more money while playing which pays of the insane amount of money that you lose when being destroyed in battle. This was not a hate comment against your game i absolutley love your game but when you just lose money at higher ranks it kinda gets boring so i hope you see this. Attempt #1
I and many other players ive spoken to are quite fond of the aprilfools map of this year. (Green Hills). Could you perhaps add it as an actual map for tanks? (ofcourse with some more detailing/fixing)

Will we ever get to see a German and French 10.0 helicopter? The Americans and the Russians get one, it only makes sense to give the Germans and French the Eurocopter Tiger as a 10.0.
Best i can do is 2 meters with a 1000 kg bomb on an german attack bomber at tier 1. I also destroy planes sometimes with the blast. Dont follow my plane, when my bomb is loaded
In my opinion there should be something called the “Tank archive” where all of the tank that was remove from the game you can use in the shooting range if you already have it, it doesn’t matter. R.I.P Maus
