My dad passed away this year in october, I know he'd be just as excited as me to finally see the f 16 in war thunder. Me and him were military fanatics and I would always show off to him the different tanks and planes I unlocked. He'd always be fascinated how far games have come and always asked me lots of questions.
@@VincentGowland and the f18 hornet and su27 flanker were all unstable, BUT the f16 was the earliest successful unstable plane because of the emergence of fly-by wire
Small game update idea, in custom battles I think players should be able to disable capture points in the match settings to allow for better 1v1 battles, for example, on the [Duels] Rice Terraces map. Thank you for your time. PS: could there also be a variant of the [Operation] City map for [Duels]?
Good to see larger maps in the game- any chance we can see more of them, or an extension of some of the older maps? This would be especially useful on some maps at top tier, where tanks can reach the enemy spawn and beyond within a couple minutes of starting

The wheel bucket excavator is out of place in a rock mine... They're used in soft ground of lignite mines. You'd ruin the buckets in no time trying to carve out rocks, and replacing them is quite a job - they're large enough to fit a small car in.
Yall forgot to talk about the strick 10g limiter on the F-16 that limit its maneuverability at high speeds making it one of the worst high speed turners in war thunder despite being 4th generation
Fun fact, the F-16 is limited to 9.g before it's flight control computer overrides the pilot and prevents the plane from pulling more than 9.5g by reducing the allowed angle of attack. That same flight control computer limits the available g load to 5.5g when carrying external fuel tanks and bombs
Another fact about the F16: Pre Block 30 F16s with the old Pratt and Whitney engines such as the PW F100-220 had a "Max Power" switch which would dissamble engine safeties such as optimum air intake which inturn increase its already powerful engine output. However, doing so had the possibility of damaging engines due to overheating.
Q: In the ground controls, there's a "Mines Detonation" control, what tanks have mines they can use, and can you do a quick overview of how to use them?
See this is a good question but they always seem to pick ones that are flat out bonkers. Like what’s the name of the German plane called the bf109?😂 I think gaijin picks them to mess with us because I don’t see how answering some of these questions would help anyone but that person😂

I know it may seem random but you know the show room floor of an expensive car dealership in need for speed the Orignals like hot pursuits. I kinda wish you guys had a show room option that allows us to set it as our main menu. When we select a plane it goes into architect mode and shows every detail in its best way. I love the blueprints of thease planes and find the original blueprints to bring more beuty then the overall plane itself. Dunno just wanted to comment it as an idea. It would take a long time and would be a pain to implement but it may pay off and bring more depth. To an allready deep game.
F-16 is the greatest fighter ever made which has been tested many times. In 1980s Pakistan Airforce shot 10 soviet and afghan airforce fighters over Pakistan's border and even conducted attacks on Afghan soviets communists inside Afghanistan. One of the Russian fighter shot down by PAF was Alexander Rutskoy who became Vice president of Russia.
Please, correct the radars. The F-16ADF had the AN/APG-66A. The MLU had the AN/APG(v)3. Also, there is no look down, or look up mode for the ADF and MLU as there should be. Also also, the HUD is completely incorrect, it's not working properly, some things overlap, AND it lacks air to air modes that it should have. And can you please make the AIM-7M an actual AIM-7M? Why did you add it if it's just the same model as the 7F? The F-16 should also be able to carry a 600gal drop tank. If you can get these things correct for the MiG-29, please, please do the same for the F-16.

Question: why is there no lazer guided ordinance for the american tech tree when they are the ones who developed the technology first? They are the only major country without lazer guided munitions (discounting the *paid* premium A-6 that you have to buy) as well as some secondary countries have lazer guided missiles.
To differentiate between Arcade and Realistic air modes, fuel should be expressed in pounds or kilogrammes in Realistic mode rather than time remaining. Real pilots need to know their own fuel burn rates, I think that should be a required skill in the more realistic modes although like many other things maybe it could be optional.
The Taiwanese F-16 block 20 has parachute and more advanced radar which is AN/APG66(V)3. BTW the F-16 can carry 6 sidewinders and 2 sparrows.It's incorrect in game now, Plz fix this.
