What For "To keep the balance" the F 14 can easily keep up with the Mig 29, you guys shoud have not added the F 16, all players playing Air Realistic or Arcade matches in an nation other then america have been suffering in top tier jet fights for month with the F 14 and now F 16. Why did you remove the R-73 from the Mig 29, if the F 16´s get a nearly unflareable missiles, which is as good as the R-73. You dont eaven give other Nations the chance of bullying the F 14 and F 16 players, in return for the last 6 Month or so. Give the Mig 29 their missiles back, its just fair to give the pain back to the F 14 and F 16 players! Btw, I spend all my 40 Flares and Chaff from the Mig 23 ML on trying to avoid being hit by an Aim 9L from an F 16 or Aim 7E from an F 14, still hit me, how is that fair? Pls nerv the radar of the F 14 so that the missiles cant hit that easily, btw the Radar of the F 14A which is in the model, only had the F 14B not the F 14 A. And make a barrier between Cold War (Mig 23, Mig 21, F 14 ...) and the new F 16 and Mig 29, so that Air mid tier can still make fun!
R-73 removed for balance? meanwhile F-14 having 6x Aim7's and 2x 9H's F-16's got 4x 9Ls and 2x Aim 7's dude with how much inbalance there is we unironically need an SU-27 to balance out the F-14... make it like SU-27 Early ( basically not have the R-77 ARH missile ) and then add some normal SU-27 with it to balance the F-15 lol just give R-73's they are basically equivalent of Aim 9L's ... R-60's are ancient at 11.7
they're not interested in actual balance. a flare sensitive r73 would have been perfect. make the mig 29 a menace at short range, while f14 and 16 dominate medium and long range. but instead they "balanced" it by making the mig 29 good at nothing and the tomcat/viper best at every range. the incompetence/greed is staggering

bro stop asking for these features, why don't you ask for more realistic or immersive gamemodes that involve playing the aircraft according to their inteded mode in real life. Why don't you ask for a gamemode involving a nighttime formation of phantoms attacking sam sites in a multiplayer co-op mode or smth more cool instead of this PvP nightmare. Why don't you ask for PvP gamemodes that are 4 v 4 for jets or 2 v 2 instead of 16 v 16.
If gaijin think about balance and not able to release R-73 in game, what's going on with F-14 and F-16s capable of right now. AIM-9L = R-60M??? Even R-27ER are highly potential but shitty ass radar snaps all the full advantages. They are planning to add R-73 when Su-27 or AIM-9M show up in the game lol
@@t65bx25 No, he's got a point, gaijin considers the aim9L a counterpart to the r60m despite its much higher range and incomparably higher flare resistance, with both being able to pull 30g. That makes it clear that they won't add r-73 unless the US team gets something much better, which would probably be the 9X. Underlying reason is likely that gaijin makes more money from US jets players, so they want to make sure that the balance favors them at the expense of other nations. Basically making war thunder a PvE game for US players.
@@CloudEcho The gap between the AIM-9L and 9X is an entire generation, and decades. I’m not contesting its dumb that Gaijin’s overestimating the Soviet missiles so hard, but the 9X is not the next iteration right around the game’s corner. Versions like the 9M were a major player, again for decades. We are not going to be getting the 9X before the AMRAAM, and we are not going to be getting the AMRAAM before the 9M, or even the 7M for that matter. What I’m saying is the 9X is becoming a buzzword that reduces the credibility of anyone protesting the R-73’s omission.

If it has zero flare resistance like every soviet missile currently in the game then they will say it's equivalent to a 9m, if it has any kind of flare resistance then it's obvious that it will be compared to the 9x. both of these situations would reflect what's currently going on in the game with r60m being a "counter" to the 9L.

i think, and i'm not compeleteley sure about this, that if you fly at high altitude in a bomber, you get the vapour effect. just seem to remember seeing it in those circumstances.

are you planning to add the br of 0.5? by adding a max up-/downtier to 0.5-0.7, you could decompress your actual br system and make matches fairer. some vehicle still need a br-rebalance though.

Q:With the napalm bomb you added, you showed you were openned to more specialised weaponry for aircraft, could we see the introduction of cluster ammunition also ? Could it be possible to create specific objective where those specialised kind of ammunition would be the preferable option. Like bunkers which could be desctructible with the use of guided weapons only or ground skirmishes that act like base but dropping napalm or rockets would be doing more damage than using simple bombs ?

Well things like the m1a2 sep and the t80BVM have an addon armor package, so it is possible for them to implement such a feature for the type 10 aswell
Although this information could be classified and, thus, not yet available, the additional protection such a package could provide could be extrapolated from other armour add-ons from the same era based on weight and (possible) composition.

Q: Will air rb ec make a comeback soon, we've seen all the work you did on Sim for the maps but a lot of players would love to play that mode in the realistic configuration, even liking all of the EC maps in random air rb you barely get to play on those map and it has been so long since the last event we could play this, it would be nice for top tier to get this mode or at least to see more of those map with a longer timer. Especially for ground attack aircraft. The furball mode is getting pretty boring.
Can we have large Air RB PvE map like the helicopter one? And include all mission like Air-to-Air, Air-to-ground, SEAD, CAP, Convoy assault, convoy support etc..

And yet, in War Thunder, it has only two machines. Why do countries like Finland, Sweden, Hungary, Romania, Poland, or even Argentina, Canada, Australia, South Africa get priority?

I do love the IL-2s as an attack aircraft, but I wish they had their PTAB bombs, which they were most effective with. The Ilyushins ingame seem to be lacking a bit without them.
Keeping balance? What balans? Insane USA winrates at 11.3 plus, the f14 and f16 should both be ATLEAST 0.3 br higher. Higher tier air is a totally broken match but you guys have managed to step it up at top tier and COMPLETELY ruin the game. Zero enjoyment, total shame.
Q: Why did you add the JA37D? It's exactly identical to how the JA37C should be with RB74's (which it for some reason doesn't have in game). The only new thing the D variant brought was more data link and AMRAAM missiles, which are obviously too soon for war thunder. You could have just given the JA37C its proper loadout with RB74 and added the AJS37 instead, featuring 4 RB74, 2 RB24J along with the anti-ship missiles as you now have that type with the Tornado.

You're asking them to completely finish the modeling to all cockpits. As it stands nearly all cockpits that do have complete visual modeling don't actually have all the gadgets modeling completely. Many of them don't move and are more of a wallpaper cover of sorts. The ones that do actually function are mainly just standard stats that can be found in the top left-hand corner of the screen, to begin with. Sure some people would love to have functionality like that even I would like just a little bit of that but in truth, if it were to come we are still so far away from acquiring that. I'd suggest sticking to DCS, for now, other than that probably not gonna see that happen for a long while. Wishful thinking for sure though.
"for the sake of balance" My brother in christ, if you want to "limit its capabilities", then GIVE US A GOOD RADAR AT LEAST. the Radar Constantly loses track and is extremely unreliable, therefore even with the welcome and balanced R27ER missiles, it cannot use it because the radar's too unreliable. if you want to make it balanced I'm all for it, but "balanced" isn't the equivalent of "inferior to the western counterparts in every scenario except gun range and targets that don't change their trajectory"
why is the chinese J6, an identical copy of the MiG-19, 0.3 battle rating higher than its soviet counterpart? why is the chinese F-100A the same battle rating as its american counterpart, when it is less agile and powerful? How do you justify Chinese J-7D at 11.0 battle rating when it doesn't have a single all aspect missiles? And perhaps most importantly, do your devs play end tier at all, or when they say "we play our own game", they play casually tier 2-3 an hour every friday?
Thanks to the repair cost I can only play up to 4.7 BR so I don't go broke. I would love to play with my t-55 but it's so expensive when it's destroyed. Tried playing with the t-44 and the IS 3, I also had a lot of fun playing with these tanks but the repair costs are just ridiculously high and makes the whole game just not fun anymore. Helicopters, planes and tanks........all unplayable. War Thunder needs a system like Enlisted does in order to be playable again.
The R-73 balance cope is even more ridiculous when you know the context of what they done to it. First it was broken and couldn't hit targets. Then they buffed it and it worked. Then they made it unflarable and said they need to improve coding and that it would be too OP. You can spout nonsense about balance but R-60M just doesn't belong on top tier plane. It's completely outclassed by Aim-9L.
Queation: Are you ever going to give the Hawker Sea Fury it's correct historical loadout of either 2 × 1000lb bombs or 8 x RP-3 rockets...? It has been 7 years now and it still only flys out the hanger with 2 × 500lb bombs or 6 RP-3.

So your telling me the 3 or 4 Mig 29's on a team of 15 or so players is expected to clutch it out against teams of majority F-16's and F-14's and we can't get the R73 because the sake of balance? even on a good match made game with 6 to 7 Mig 29's its hardly a contest because by time the F-16's that climbed to space come down to join the fight there's only 4 or less players alive. The R27er at best can give us 2 for 2 kills and the r60m's are so easily flared off that taking the time to choose the best moment to fire them leads to your death by the swarm of enemies that all of a sudden pop up when they weren't spotted before despite the ace maxed out pilot. But yes for the sake of balance the few in number Mig 29's must fight the swarms of F-16's and their support F-14's in a nerfed state because Gaijin is unable to let players adapt to new things and learn to play against it this update but that method was fine when the Phoenix was first introduced forcing the entirety of top tier to learn to turn left on take off and watch where the phoenix smoke trails are to best avoid them. The fact there's not teams of majority Mig 29's makes it clear enough that the soviet fighter is in such a state that no one truly wants to fly or grind it. The state top tier Air RB is in is "balanced" for sure, just hope when the Su 27 is added Gaijin learns to stick to their goal of realism and don't limit it players will learn adapt and abuse the weaknesses given time just let the process happen.
Q : Why is the Mig-29’s radar so weak ? Its TWS mode doesn’t keep the “soft-lock” track vertically (unlike on the F-14), it doesn’t have any other ACM modes other than the vertical one, it doesn’t have any other scope other than than 50km… ?

Maybe it's time to change the prices in this game? This is really starting to get sick. The prices of most premium vehicles are so high that you could buy a AAA game for them. In addition, it may be time to fix the economy in the game itself. It would be nice if the creators thought about the pleasure of playing War Thunder and not about money and how to rob players even more. Although, on the other hand, the players who pay with their money and only show the creator that you can develop the game by adding vehicles that will be more and more expensive and people will buy it anyway because they are so stupid. Such players are to blame for the whole situation where the prices in this game are sick
When more counter parts with equal strength come out the Mig 29 will get not only the R73 but the R77's along with the Su 27 right? after all the F-15 and F-18 can carry Aim120's
