Love this! I found a very similar thing studying sus chord: you can superimpose the minor pentatonic of the 5th tone of the sus chord. For a Gsus, you can superimpose Dm pentatonic.

I will note at the end there, that's not RU-vid showing retention afaik, it's where people start again from the most - (most replayed) - And most replayed is during Miles' solo in this case. You see this a lot in popular solos to transcribe, because people keep going back to phrases to try and pin them down.
Funny that you mention that F#, the very first solo that I transcribed was "one finger snap" by Herbie and literally the first note he plays is F# over C7sus haha
I remember a few years ago you also said sus chords and minor chords are really similar. I thought then that you meant it in another way. For example take a Cmin13 chord, its got all the extensions in it. Including a BbMaj7 in the chord. So when you view it like that, it's really similar to a Bbmaj7/C aka a C7sus. Only the minor13 has got the minor 3rd in it. I thought that was how you meant it back then, idk lol
