The animation company behind this segment would go on to animate the Rugrats reboot. Klasky Csupo, the creators of Rugrats also animated the first three seasons of the Simpsons. It has come full circle
Marge Simpson is so clueless when it comes to knowing her own son Bart, if she had known that Bart has been mistreated his toys very badly then she would have punished him in the first place and then he wouldn't have been turn into a toy himself by his toys.
I mean neither knew the toys were sentient, if the toys were feeling they couldve easily just told him "stop" but instead they decided to kill him, pretty harsh tbh
Honestly, I'm kind of underwhelmed with this segment. It missed the opportunity of Radioactive Man being the cause of the toys coming to life. I think that would've made for more effective parody and keeps with the theme of horror movies a little better. But, that's just MY opinion.
I thought the same too. But then I realized it is implied Bart deserved to be punished because he had mistreated his toys for years so they were supposed to have feelings from the beginning long before the arrival of Radioactive Man.
Now does Disney own The Simpsons by being the producers of the show or do they just own The Simpsons because they own fx? I'm curious if it's still the same producer
@@sub-zero5433 Because Thomas isn't a show like Barney the Dinosaur or Teletubbies that's only meant for little children and loses its appeal when said children get older due to a lack of substance. There''s a surprising abundance of political undertones in Thomas, such as the dismissal and threat of new technologies like diesel fuel and air travel. There are also quite a few very dark Thomas episodes, such as "The Sad Story of Henry" (which is described as being a preschool-friendly version of Edgar Allan Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado"), "Granpuff" (an arrogant engine who never learned from his mistakes is turned into a generator as punishment for his reckless behavior, and when the railway that Duke works on closes down, he is abandoned in a shed that gets buried due to an overgrowth of vegetation), "Break Van" (Donald smuggles his twin brother, Douglas to Sodor to prevent him from being scrapped, but a nasty brake van tries to get Douglas sent away by slowing down his trains and making him look bad. He ends up being crushed by Douglas when he tries to slow James down as well), and "Escape" (Douglas helps Oliver and Toad escape from the Diesels' part of the Island of Sodor to keep them from being scrapped, having gone through a similar experience). In the earlier years of Thomas' lifespan, the show had both high-quality episodes and merchandise lines, and had narrators such as Ringo Starr, George Carlin, and Alec Baldwin narrate the episodes. Hope this has helped.
Bart Simpson is a really, bad boy. He doesn’t treat his toys the right way. If only he would treat them nicely like a girl or any nice boy would. My brother, Andrew didn’t do that to his toys when he was young. I am a child at heart going on 39 and I have wonderful Disney Princess dolls, an Aladdin tea set, Pokey and Gumby figures, and have stuffed animals and I treat them very nicely. I don’t blow them up with dynamite, throw mud balls at them, pull off their heads, tear out their stuffings, sander them, put them in a blender or microwave, don’t outstretched them or take them apart. They have feelings.
