I honestly think Persephone being noncommittal is perfect! She kind of always has been, so it feels like a natural progression. Maybe she just isn't the "settling down" type of gal!
I think the reason things aren't being marked as complete for the ranch animal day thing is because Clover is the host, so she's the one that has to do the tricks and jokes and such.
Deli, I wanted to tell you that my mom is about 1 year into playing the sims and at this point you and James are household names 😂 She doesn't watch RU-vid very much be she always asks me "What's your girl been up to?" (meaning you), and she'll stop to watch your videos with me every once and a while. At this point she is more obsessed with the sims than me and plays everyday! We really love your videos, and I love the long parts! 💚
It’s so nice seeing how deli has grown as an individual, been watching her since I was 11 because my parents wouldn’t let me get the sims until k was 12, almost 18 now and still a lover of her
If you are renovating I'd love for their current home to become the stables and the story line be that they build their own house on the land from scratch!
i think that Persephone’s horse should be sold, as we saw twinkle grow up and Clover is more interested in the animal aspect of the farm whereas Persephone can focus on gardening and nectar making 💗
RIP Gunner and I vote for training up all the horses you’ll make more money than by selling them cause you can only enter velvet once a day but if all the horses are trained then they can all be entered
I vote to keep the 3 horses, each girl should have one. And hopefully hire a ranch hand soon. Any future horses can be sold. Training them up so they can each do comps with their horses is a good idea too
Hopefully she does end up keeping all 3 for clover. Also the discovered personality trait ‘gloomy’ for clover made so much sense. She was kind of the forgotten child during the growing together series. It’s even more understandable for the trait if Deli does sell Clover’s horse 🥲
Hi Deli, Persephone is a very flirty sim, so I think it makes sense for her to slowly end the relationship with Crinkletop and start a relationship with the ranch hand!!
Where I live it's not at all weird to see horses without enclosed stables. With a temperate climate it's usually okay! In the Netherlands we also have wild horses roaming around 😊
Hey Deli! What I did in my game is make a club and the encourages activities are caring for animals and plants and cleaning! The downside is that people in the group will harvest your plants themselves and keep them for themselves as far as I can tell. If you can’t afford a ranch hand that could help!
As someone who grew up with horses in a Canadian winter, we had a huge paddock for our horses, but we also had some indoor stalls for them with our cows that we could direct them through cow paddock...they all get along🙃 currently building up a similar ranch! also this pack is everything with the goat screams😭
I personally LOVE these longer videos. I feel like I get more connected to some of these characters getting to watch more. So yes please keep these videos lengthy. Lol 😁😂🥰

My mom grew up with an aunt that was close to her in age and never called her an aunt. She always referred to her as a cousin because that’s what the relationship was most similar too. So even if they are technically an aunt I don’t think it’s a big deal if you call them a cousin ❤
I cry at nearly anything. I can’t watch any of my shows without crying in the episode. I have even cried during some commercials. But weirdly I find it hard to cry about irl things, I block out my emotions when it comes to real things, so I watch sad movies/shows so I can feel what I need to feel.
i feel like i do this - i think it’s kinda like allowing myself to cry at these things but not feeling comfortable enough to cry in front of other people; like i should compartmentalise until i’m alone or in the comfort of my own home 😅
I cry at commercials too, every single time I see the iams commercial with the old chocolate lab jumping into the subaru... I'm a fountain. "You can do it, Duck!" Even just saying it, thinking it... now I'm crying.

I LOVE your idea for having plots of plants by season and signs! Ive tried doing plots like that before but always forget what plants are what (esp if there are some for multiple seasons). So the sign idea is cute and helpful! Love it!

You should change Twinkle’s feathers to white! It looks weird since her legs are white. Basically they should match whatever color is towards the bottom of the legs (the color that goes into the feathering).
Selling basically deletes the horse you sold, what is for "sell" twinkleby transferring them to another household and taking out what twinkles worth? That way you can still have twinkle visit, and start making money!
generally the majority of horses don't need an enclosure as they are made to be outdoor animals, same with other livestock; its only certain breeds that have been developed that might need a winter blanket or some sort of shelter. Most shelters are just 3 walls and a roof facing out of the wind/rain direction. really enjoying your videos! thank you so much!!
My free spirit horse does not like to sleep inside and will sleep outside every night while my other horses go inside the barn. Love the different horse personalities!!!
I made a wash rack, hay racks, hanging buckets, and more realistic jumps using the TOOL mod. But they aren’t functional, and I’m worried it’ll break my game to try to play on the lot.
i had a wedding over the weekend and THREE guests died during the event of old age 😫 place was pure chaos. This series compelled me to buy horse ranch and resparked my interest in playing! Cant get enough lately!
You may have already figured this out, but the horse ball needs to be periodically replaced as it stops working after the horses have played with it a few times. There is no way to tell when you need to do this, the ball doesn't look any different, but if your horses fun is low and they don't go to the ball when you call them to it that's a definite sign they need a new ball. I got into the habit of replacing them when I start playing and every time I go into BB for something.
i love the longer videos!! and i also don’t think you should make it too hard on yourself to make money. it’d be cool to see the family make a bunch and build up the house and ranch quickly! also don’t sell twinkle!😭 he’s so cute. if anything sell cruiser lol. also RIP Gunner, but maybe Alpine can move in now?

I love the longer parts! Give me hour-long eps! (As long as you enjoy them and feel good doing them.) I grew up on a cattle farm, and unfortunately selling livestock is par for the course. I love the idea of training the horses up to all be in competitions, and then selling future horses? I suppose TBD. Looking forward to the next one!
Yeh I think keep the feathers but change the colour to white. I think seasonal garden patches is genius and I will definitely include it in my game. Thanks Deli! I read somewhere that to get the nectar guy over to your house you can plan a stayover and then cancel it.❤

i have 4 horses and never had stables. they have a shelter that they can go in freely but they stay in a huge pasture all the time 🥰 no horses NEED stables but they definitely are very nice
You can buy a community board and put it at the edge of your own property near the paths so it's easily accessible to you but also looks like it's been installed there for everyone's use.
In one of my legacy families I made a garden in a circle and set all the plants out in order of seasons going clockwise around the circle. I also tend to keep gardens out in the open and restrict myself to only one of each plant or gardening produces way too much money and I prefer a challenge. With simple living, once you get the garden going (and sell the animals for meat if you can cope, otherwise make faux meat out of mushrooms) all you really need to buy is flour and sugar (and milk if you don't get a cow) and you can make a lot of food. As a weird side note, I hardly ever cry, I don't try to stop myself when I feel it but it just disappears and then it's gone. I do have anxiety attacks fairly regularly though which usually include crying but don't always have specific triggers. I am much more likely to cry at happy things than sad ones.

I really enjoy the longer LPs. Also I have no problems with re-gifting, but I gave a work friend a gift once, and five months later, she gave it to me for my birthday!!!! Too funny!
Oh no! Poor Gunnar. My therapist also pushes me to cry at safe things like movies and books. But crying gives me migraines 😅so I don’t really lean into it. But that was a bummer
I love love love longer episodes! I think rose should get flirty with the ranch hand and make him also a woohoo partner! Definitely sad to see a horse go but that’s what I’m doing in my game. I rescue a horse, train them up and sell them to people. It makes me feel like I am saving the horses and giving them a better life
Hah! Fire King! My sim got together with a random sim named Ocean King a while ago! Now we only need someone to find Earth and Air King and we’ve collected all the elemental Kings, haha!
