The Sinking City 2 officially announced! Explore the flooded city of Arkham in this eerie Lovecraftian survival horror. Coming to PS5 in 2025. #ps5 #ps5games
Honestly, I'm glad there was enough for a sequel. This is one of those games that deserve another chance, it did some things wrongly, but it had so much potential. I'm optimistic.
Yeah the developer doesn't need a bigger profit but the game seem gain enough for small developer. If this was made by AAA studio they would burry and fire all the staff.
I think my great grandmothers trip to school sounds even scarier than this. She walked through the woods barefoot and got chased by a dog with rabies and even a bull. 1930s nibbas built different.
@@mr.sinjin-smythIt's either that or letting the Great Old Ones rise and destroy everything, right? So the canon one must be where he leaves for Boston.
@@Eidlonesthere was so psychological stuff though. Hallucinations, shooting at enemies that weren't there. Was definitely more Sherlocky which makes total sense because Frogwares.
@@Eidlones I’m not saying shooting at monsters makes it horror, but if you knew Lovecraftian horror its the thought of the unknown. Don’t you remember when you get the diving suit and dive to the bottom of the ocean, the sounds and atmosphere were intense af. You never knew what was round the corner in terms of happenings and that’s where the horror came in. Play with headphones and let your mind loose
Frogwares continues to astound me with how their games improve each and every time and they are always looking to do something bigger and better whilst still delivering the detective gameplay that I love. Easily my favourite developer at the moment and I can't wait to buy the deluxe edition of this on day one. It looks GORGEOUS 😍😆
That is definitely the Crawling Chaos. Far worse than Cthulhu since the big guy doesn't generally acknowledge humans. Just eats them when peckish. Nyarlathotep, on the other hand, involves himself in human affairs...mostly to bring forth other old gods.
Nah, unfortunately not. I read in one of the articles about an interview with the devs at Frogwares and they told the interviewer: "Charles Reed has been through enough. Another poor sap needs to take his place." Or something to that effect. I hope though, that Charles does get referenced in this sequel and we find out the canon ending to Sinking City if there is indeed one. But from the dev's comments it seems they allude to Charles being alive(?), so maybe the canon ending was him running away to Boston with the seal. 🤷
Yo what about the winking city? You get to a city and everyone keeps winking at you and you’re just like “whoa what the heck?” Hopefully they make that next
I'd go with Yog Sothoth, as Shub Niggurath is depicted more as a "tree without leaves" and a bunch of mouths. Yog is more like a huge squid with lots of eyes.
You know... When I was a kid I liked cinematic trailers (recorded all the FF7 commercials off the TV) but these days, would much, MUCH prefer a gameplay trailer. Cinematic trailers do nothing for me these days.
