What do you mean? It looks nice, yeah, but we already had this quality even on consoles and know it is possible, so why the worry? You should rather worry about the game being a good game, not just another The Order blender.

MundMoriginal I guess I was a little unclear. I know it’s pre rendered and all that. It was just very interesting visually and set a great tone. I hope they do Lovecraft justice, was my real concern.

I surely hope this game looks as sick as the trailer.

Neither was the eye thing he does at the end.

You also see his eyes blink the second time he is now a lizard. His eyes close from the sides like a lizard.

That's a really good spot :) If you look at the growths around the street, there also now appear to be an abundance of white protuberances that look halfway between coral polyps and human arms in several locations.

It looks like to me the more you die the more uncover and there’s puzzles you can do to unlock different things and when you wake up again it unlocks something new like those towers that will be awesome

well like... a more Lovecraftian Bioshock. it was already a little lovecraftian, but this is lovecraftian as it gets.

I doubt it was the intention of the people who made it, but my own interpretation is that this is what it must feel like to be trapped inside a feeding-loop for an eldritch monster that just wants an endlessly sustainable snack. So much of Lovecraftian horror is about our inability to comprehend their motives, but for me, after days and weeks of trying to understand how and why a 7th dimensional being would lock a mere human inside an infinitely recurring timeline just to kill it? It hit me: to a being that can warp time this is like having steak forever, and that dude is the cow. Endlessly walking into the booth with no comprehension of his purpose or part in the process until it's too late. I come back to this clip every once in a while to feel that feeling.

​@@ProfDCoy I like your interpretation. There are games that made me feel that same way, too, like Little Nightmares 2 and Bioshock Infinite. I highly recommend you give them a try. you will like it.

If I understand it right, this developers were originally tasked with Call of Cthulhu game, but when the license was pulled of, they decided to make the game anyway.

Why not both first and third person? It should be an option. First person is more scary. Third person is, different... more remote, less scary, but it has it's charms. :)

Tim West well it was a small company that made it and they didn’t have a massive budget so this game is actually pretty good story wise and gameplay wise due to their limitations and honestly it’s impressive just imagine them with a budget as big as rockstars etc the devs are really good in this game is what I’m trying to say

The last area of the Bloodborne dlc is basically this. A sunken fishing village. Or hamlet..

To be honest, I really like the game so far. If you like adventure/detective games you will love it. If not, don't bother

@@megakaren2160 There are certainly some technical problems, but I like the whole experience so far. The story and characters are intriguing enough to make me want to explore everything and see what happens next. Plus the side missions are very very interesting

HP Lovecraft was a definite influence on Kojima for Death Stranding. This game is based on HP Lovecraft's work.

Hideo Kojima reminds me of Lovecraft.
