One of the best acts at The Port Fairy Jazz Festival. The only act that got a standing ovation. VIDEO and AUDIO was taken by a Zoom 2Q Please excuse the poor quality of the recording.
Wow! They sound great! Anyone can sing these oldies, but few have that sound of the 40's, most still sing them in the style of today, but these girls sound straight out of the 40s!!
The Music helped win Ww II and get the Visigoths out of Ukraine and Russky land too. Poor Glenn = there are couple of theories about what happened to him and neither is good. Some say he is buried in an unmarked grave in the family plot back home in America. Another theory is that his Norseman unmarked but Kharki light a/c was on the way back from a concert tour for the troops i n France. It flew low over the North sea in an area where the allies dumped unused bombs - ones that would not release the first time from bombers. A Sth African airman is on record that he saw from his bomber a Norseman hit by a bomb explosion waterspout about that time and it crashed into the sea immediately. The Norseman was made in Canada I seem to recall. Single Radial engine up front. TEF NzL
