If by a "principle established before the law" you are referring to Abraham and Melchizedek, great point! 1. Abe wasn't commanded to tithe (aka neither are we); 2. Abe tithed from the spoils of war, not from his day to day wealth (aka we only need to tithe if we run into a lot of money); and 3) Abe is only recorded as tithing once in his entire life (aka, we only have to do it once in our lives!). Great biblical "principles." Thanks for the suggestion! ;)

this is so true. sometimes we hold back on God with our finances. We need to be joyful givers and give back what God has given to us. We wouldnt have the money without him in the first place. Heres a great scripture Malachi 3:8-10. Be Blessed :)

@FormerADTMan yes, manipulator givers are VERY common in my church. and pageant givers represents those who do it so everyone else will be impressed with them.
