My Seestern is so similar with only a few minor design differences and of course a different movement. All for only around $100.

Personally I like the bubble-back, lots of vintage divers were pretty thick (not sure about the original 600) claaaassic dimensions. Glad they brought this one back but I wish Doxa went with the old style rectangular indexes like the original 600s I've seen. The price is reasonable for what Doxa offers but still pretty steep in general, personally kind of over spending more than 1k on watches these days, but I might have to make an exception for this one... I definitely might...

Nice review video. I like the comparison with the other watches! I have the Sharkhunter, but with the SS bezel. I like everything about the watch except the bracelet. I wish there was some tapering on the bracelet.

I currently own a Sub 200 (Aquamarine), and Sub 300T (Professional), and I'm SO tempted by this Sub 600 Sharkhunter! Looks an absolutely stunning watch! The more I see of it the closer I am to just ordering it on finance, 4 yrs interest free, but I KNOW that isn't a sensible thing to do, and I really should wait until next payday and just buy it cash, and starve for the next month LOL. Going to get offline before my addiction kicks in and I do something stupid......

I guess it’s the combination of black dial plus back bezel, which makes it seem big. If these two are in contrasting colors (say yellow and black), it’ll “reduce” the dial opening to its true dimension (i.e., that of a 40mm dive watch).

Just catching up with your vids.i like this watch the orange and black design looks great.not to keen on the design of the bracelet.i think I would go for the 300 only because I like the turtle case,I prefer the bezel though on the shark hunter.take care pete.carl from cov uk.

Is it hard to remove the bracelet and put it back? Drilled lugs would be helpful. I actually got the homage by Seestern. It looks the same, but the case back is not as thick and has a Seiko movement. It is great looking. I wish Seestern would have drilled the lugs. The bracelet is so nice. But I bet it looks great with the orange strap.

@@ChillinwitWatches it seems a very tight clearance. Maybe you could do a video tutorial on the best way to remove a bracelet. Drilled lugs should be a must.

Great review and comparison! I'm seriously considering buying one of these, so this was extremely helpful. Would I prefer less of a booty on this watch? Yes, of course. This thing is the Sir Mix-A-Lot of watches LOL! But there's so much beauty and coolness going on here that I can look past the phat ass. I mean, I have so many damn watches, that it's not like this would be an everyday watch for me, you know? When worn in my rotation of 100+ watches, this would just be my fatboy that I wear for a few days before switching out to something else. I'd probably look forward to my "chunky day"! Thanks for the review man!

Thank you for your review, cool looking Vostok too -In your opinion, which of Doxa's offerings is the smallest/most compact? (Some of the spec details don't have lug-to-lug) I have recently just got into watches and I want a solid watch around £1000 in the future to round off my tiny collection(unless I manage to get into a high-flying job, then it's all in baby :D )
