To me, MLSDA season 2's ending is the official ending to the "canon timeline." Everything after the season two finale takes place in an alternate "sitcom timeline." (PS. Not hating on everything after Season 2's ending. In fact, the Bowser Jr era is the SML era I grew up with and have the most nostalgia for.)

Not to be that guy, but while Logan has definitely 'declined' in quality, I don't find a lot of his new videos as atrocious as they're made out to be. Rushed, yes, but not this doomsday scenario. That being said, I think the puppet transition should just be treated as a soft reboot, with anything prior being like an 'old canon' similar to Star Wars Legends and current Disney canon. Fanmade content should also not be considered canon, nor should Schizophrenia Case Study. If anything, the latter is mores an exploration of Logan's writing outside of SML. As for fan-made content, it's essentially fan-fiction. Good? Maybe, but this video has a lot of bias that hinders the solid presentation and work that went into it. Or alternatively, these are plush videos on RU-vid and who actually gives a shit about what's canon?

I had an idea that baby shrek's ending took place 18 full years after its beginning and the reason why it takes place at the old house even though it burned down was because shrek was raising his kid in the background after all these years but eventually decided to move back into the old house after it was rebuilt, deciding for whatever reason to live there with his son until he went off to college in 2030. Maybe he didn't feel comfortable living with and raising his son with the crew after seeing what happened after the cease and desist. He probably still cares for them though and thats why he appears still now and then like in shrek's endless cheesecake as like an outing with old friends. This is the canon that i go with and its up to anyone really if they think this is how it ends as well
This is surprisingly in-depth of SML, it’s sad that the series videos ended though after Jeffy was introduced. (With the somewhat exception of the Kindergarten series)
Yeah this Whole Timeline is a Outer Complete Mess and the Strangest Part is that this was always a thing from the beginning in SML, it’s like instead of New Additions giving SML a unique factor, it feels like a Reboot and Reset each time, to be Fair SML always changed each year but it seems Logan didn’t grab all of the Good Qualities and mix all of the Good and Bad to the point he presses the Reset Button too many times it made the Quality unstable, I’m not saying it was All Bad, but the Fact he created Lore that he can use even with the Desist Letter but in the end Continuity is Pointless to Logan that now he uses this as a Excuse to make the Comedy Show we know in SML Today, I will say that the Fans made better SML Content than Logan but all I can say is that the SML Timeline is a Mess so greater that if you start with SML Now you might go completely Insane, the Only SML Fan that follows the Lore in this Channel is surprisingly SMLYTP which I give him Mad Respect for His Work.
What if Season 3 of Stupid and Dumb Adventures takes place after the universal reset in The Past Machine in a slightly different reality where Toad becoems a rapper slightly earlier and Mario knows all the stuff he does (we know some changes do happen thanks to the ending (although I should say Im assuming the SML Movie abd MLSDA timeline split occurs again in this altered reality))
I've been wanting a video like this for so long! I do wish a little bit that you went over some of the important events throughout the series, like moving houses and Mario getting married but it still a good video.
⚠️⚠️Warning I know this isn't rocket science, this is all for fun, plus paragraph ahead (no, duh!)⚠️⚠️ As someone who cares about SML lore way too much to the point I try to keep continuity together every time an SML video comes out (along with pointing out continuity errors and making therioes of my own) I applaud you dub, this must have been a huge challenge for you dude. I tried for a few months and days to make an SML timeline, but! It's Impossible to keep every in one singular timeline or only 3 timelines to the max(to make things less complicated)!It's especially hard to tell which video is not canon or canon due to the fact that some of the lore is either hidden behind a vlog, sml wiki's, or even reactions(like saying jeffy home school isn't canon, due to a polt hole in smart jeffy as a "joke")! It's a pretty daunting task to make an actual SML timeline work or even start it so I am amazed you were able to do it pretty well. Also just a side note you just can't say every SML video takes place in a different timeline or dimension because some videos are heavily tied together! Also let's not mention the many time travel episodes the sml has made that will actually shatter their whole universe. But overall great video dub! My only nit picks about this video was A.) Some of these do not require separate timelines and B.) You're being way too hard on yourself but that's not really a nitpick.
My personal interpretation was that sends the Super Bowl problem a split happen where in one reality the characters became puppets their videos like jeffy's new dad and the human potion and those videos now take place in 2021 when the letter happened and like you said the plush timeline is still happening just not being observed, and the extended sml universe is still out there
My theory is that simply the old house era (including the finale of MALSDA and everything else in that series) is a sequel to the apartment era and the new house era
I've actually come up with a theory about there being multiple dimensions: What if Luigi didn't actually die from that lightning strike. Instead, his consciousness was somehow teleported to a strange in-between-dimension place which is where he first appears in the Luigi's Mansion series. Everyone is dead in his dimension and could've somehow ended up in the current dimension where the videos after the end of MLSDA S2 take place. Mario eventually ended up in that dimension as well. Luigi was sent to the weird world between worlds by someone to fix all this, by ripping the characters out of that dimension into the correct one. However, it seems his efforts were for nothing as he would later be forced into the modern dimension as well. I do consider your MLSDA S3 EP4 cannon, as that means Mario has a chance to fix all this. I'm guessing the end of S2 caused a split somehow and created this other dimension. I guess we could call the original one the Dimension of Hope and the current one the Dimension of Dispair(or something similar).
I also feel like it's worth pointing out that there are actually rare cases where events from the plush era are referenced or followed up on in modern SML. I believe there was some song Cody had a while back that he mentioned wanting to make in an old video??
I just simplified everything so that everything after MLSDA Season 3 is Mario's remote dying and since no one can fix it... he figures "eh this dimension's close enough and all my friends are alive so I'll just stay here..." then (granted I retconned this to make my own 4th season of MLSDA that dab really should react to btw...) the puppet and plush videos before the puppet era fully takes hold take place on their own separate timelines and after the C&D and the last plush video Mario was Yanked out and Marvin and his timeline became the main (and only) one... and the point Mario was yanked out is where my fourth MLSDA season takes place...
I like to believe that the human potion caused the plushes to slowly lose their memories like dementia. As for the new dad, thats just confusing for me honestly..
Logan could remake the series videos and finish them with the puppets at least. With chef pee pee quits, it might work very well because it’s not focused on plush characters. Dunno what they could do Luigi’s mansion (probably Lewis’s mansion or some shit)
I assume that sml videos where characters died and then come back is an alternate timeline where they did die also jeffy ball z is ANOTHER timeline split because ep 1 was a psudeo dbz parody series then becomes a series thats a plush dbz and i believe that every video where a charcter turns into a puppet then turn back like how in some videos bully bill was an puppet then goes back to plush i assume those are alternate timelines and and i assume that videos like the human potion and jeffys new dad are a alternate puppet timeline where they werent puppets the whole time but and the current puppet timeline is basically a sort of an what if situation and everything based off of that like kable10 smlytp who swicthed from puppet to plush are most likely extensions or alternate versions of the human potion or jeffys new dad and they have split timelines like mortevil with kable10 and jeffy joins the mafia series which is a whole different can of worms

I had a theory that the Perfect Plan was a prequel to the SML Movies and it took place at a time when Bowser used to be power hungry & sinister. With him becoming a middle aged man watching Charlie & Friends on his bed, would’ve been a result of him suffering from depression & broken after giving up his life of villainy between the Regular SML Movies & the Perfect Plan. I also had this theory where Kamek from the same video I mentioned was actually Cody’s real father, and I had this SML Idea comment where Cody finds out he & his sister from that one SML Movie were adopted, and then Junior Joseph & Cody try to find out what happened to Cody’s real parents, until Kamek shows up and reveals to Cody why he sent his kids to Tyrone & Judy’s front door, because he was a wanted fugitive for carrying a government owned weapon. It was a pretty stupid idea, and this was way before the Time Machine video where Junior & Cody found out Cody’s adopted.
You can add my future plush series to rhe timeline and it's gonna have the plush characters escape to the SMB (SuperMarioBrandon) universe after their old one got taken over by their evil marketable puppet doppelgangers. None of the Puppet Era videos are canon anyway and Logan only faked that letter to sell puppets 'cause he's gotten greedy, this shouldn't be surprising to anyone who's been paying enough attention to his decline. Mama Luigi will still be dead in my future plush series and will be replaced by a different Luigi clone, characters who are permanently dead in SML can't interdimentional travel. I'll give a proper ending to the Pokémon series and have a Luigi's Mansion series where he has to fight a family of Ghost-type Pokémon. Mario And Luigi's Stupid Star Saga series will start it all off.
The letter wasn't fucking faked, if it was, he would have gone back to the plushies ages ago, Nintendo simply doesn't have him on high priority, explaining why those Pikachu boxers appeared once. Why would Nintendo constantly keep watch of something they already delt with?

Weird thing about the Chef Pee Pee quits series. During one of the SML Halloween videos, he mentions he called in some ‘old friends’ to mess with Junior since he went out despite Bowser telling him not to. Those old friends being the animatronics, which means Junior came back to life at the end of the series and the animatronics survived the fire, I guess

Y’know it’s really weird to think that the main characters like Jeffy(especially , Junior, Cody, & Joseph still in Elementary school despite them being high schoolers.
This is such a messy timeline. But I consider it a blessing that since Logan can no longer consider what is and isn't canon, we can interpret however we want and including the other universes like yours, Mafs and Laughstock Productions timelines. Its so cool to see alternate timelines telling their own stories that branch off.

SML isn't worried about consistency or plot holes, because it's an episodic comedy like Family Guy. For deep lore and a well thought out continuity, watch some high quality drama like Breaking Bad. This is a youtube channel where a guy makes skits with puppets and stuffed animals, not prestigious high art. I honestly don't understand how "classic" SML was that much different than new SML. Characters like mama luigi and shrek aren't much deeper than a character like Jeffy. The general formula of "dumb character acts as a foil for Mario/Marvin" is still consistent. What made the classic SML videos objectively better? To me, it just seems like nostalgia. There are plenty of more funny movies, shows, and youtube channels. If SML isn't what you want it to be, there are other things to check out that you'd get more enjoyment from. As someone who also grew up with SML and still checks out newer videos, I've accepted that SML is just fun mindless entertainment. Like Family Guy or an Adam Sandler movie, I expect dumb comedy to turn my brain off to, and nothing else really. If I wanted to watch something of a higher pedigree, there are shows like the aforementioned Breaking Bad, as well as Bojack Horseman. If you expect that from SML now, years since Logan has very clearly gotten comfortable with his niche in the youtube space, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.
I think the current “Marvin” we see in modern sml is the same mario since the beginning still going through alternate dimensions, he just decided to stay or got stuck in the sml movie’s dimension
I think a better explanation to the pokemon series is this: in the first episode, junior makes a wish and it comes true. You could argue either A. The series takes place in an alternate dimension created from that wish or B. The series is just a dream junior is having.
