I was waiting for Niall to tell that a King cobra is NOT a true cobra (taxonomically). But it didn’t come.

Near to the end of the video, Niall made an absolutely true statement that humans destroyed the habitats of living things like snakes , and this had forced them to look for food near to where humans lived. We are mainly the cause of the plights of these living things.

The greatest reason why snakebites in India lead to deaths, is the poor state of healthcare.

Has a king cobra ever killed an elephant. Or any other snake? Sure not as often as the comparison comes up in documentaries.

50,000 fatalities per year equates to exactly 137 everyday,I dispute this statistic,it’s staggering if true though.
@1fairi

Do not forget. 1.4 billion people lives in India and millions of venomous snake.

@1fairi
@1fairi 15 дней назад
@@scambodia147 yes, the snakebites are serious problem in the develéoping country. No good quality check for antivenom, bad health care system and millions deadly snake in the bush and some will go in your house. Unfortunately the most fatalities are children.

Thiese are only registered deaths. This number is a statistic. Usually just the tip if the iceberg. Most never make it to a hospital, let alone a hospital with anti-venom.
