What snorkel do I need for my subaru ?!
In this video, I'm gonna give you an answer and gonna go through the SNORKEL SETUP I run on my 1997 SF5 SUBARU FORESTER
Be aware that this snorkel is not a bolt on or straight forward installation. It will require drilling, cutting and some heat gun action on the snorkel itself to reshape it. these modifications are irreversible.

Looks great! I like it a lot more than the land cruiser ones. They always look too bolbous on the fender. I’d also add that the internet in general seems to have the wrong idea about snorkels. Their primary purpose is to draw cleaner cooler air. Not simply for water crossing. If deep water crossing is in someone’s plans, they need to do a lot more than raise the intake. Electronics need to be sealed and relocated, diff breathers need to be added and you might as well rip out all the carpet.

Thanks for detailed review of your snorkel! I remember video (or story from IG) when, due to snow, you had to stop and turn snorkel back =)) I think on turbo foz should have a similar setup!

Is there any value to attempting "seal" the stock air filter box temporarily with silicone or some other epoxy? A little more peace of mind between air filter checks/ replacements?

If you go full off-road in some deep puddles then yes!

great! just wondering when removing original resonance box and continuing intake lenght, how does it affect air circling thru the tubes.. Would it be better to keep intake solid long pipe that can resonate. usually more longer intake affects lower rpm torque.. just wondering.. once again good job jordan!.

You are right but the foz feels a bit more responsive after the snorkel. That's it, no big difference I guess

Love it! I'll get the same one for mine. Although I am confused... Why have a snorkel at all if you're still limited by the height of the air box? It's only an inch or so above the stock intake.

The snorkel head should be forward... forced air, youre delaying the intake air even further being its backwards.

Good video... PROBLEM is its useless... Why go through the trouble if your not going to seal the air box... Not waterproofing the internal airbox changed nothing and ruled the snorkel obsolete... waste of time installing.
