Hi Fiona! I’m a great fan of you! Are you still doing videos for chinesepod? Will be Constance in this new proyect too? Btw, my favorite Sailor Moon character is Sailor Neptune! And salior moon was my favorite anime in my childhood :’) It was so cool that you mentioned it! And i just googled Sirius in chinese. It’s 小天狼星. It might be friendlier to chinese/ taiwanese readers... but it still sounds weird. Best wishes in your new proyect!

Hi there, Fiona here. I'm not doing any videos for them anymore. We all decided to leave the company late last year (see:fionatian.com). Constance is currently focusing on her PhD research but we all live in the same apartment complex so I see her all the time for brainstorming fun ideas :)

yes, it's quit easy to normal people to understand a basic meanning, instead of memorizing a new word.

This is a fantastic video! Any chance for a follow up on more space/astronomy terms? Galaxy, asteroid belt, milky way, etc? Given the recent success of chinese sci fi like Three Body Problem abroad, it would be really cool to know more terms.

China should rename Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to other more Chinese-like names. To ape the west is not a good thing. Pluto isn't a planet anymore, there are tons of asteroids just like Pluto in the Kuiper belt and Asteroid belt. It should be renamed 'Xiao' + something.
