Just purchased the v2.0 Bonfire, heat deflector, and pizza oven attachment in Nov 2023. I purchased the dark ash color Bonfire to help hide discoloration better over time. The heat deflector works very good in radiating the heat sideways. I find you can sit more around the Bonfire with heat deflector and you get way less to almost no smoky smell being further back. I really like the copper/bronze color the exterior stainless steel can turns with use. Ordered the take home pizza kit from Dion's Pizza and it was so easy to use the Bonfire pizza oven attachment. The only issue is the pizza oven stone can get completely black covered in soot. Heat the pizza oven with the stone and flip it over before use to the clean side if you see a lot of soot.
Thank you. I bought one recently, but have yet to use it as it hasn't been cold. If you have bananas or plantains, you can dump the ashes around the base of the plant.
Just bought one. Set it up and gotva fire going. So easy and I sometimes struggle. I also used a little fire starter, some pressed paper from packaging and birch wood. I did need any offical kindling size wood. Love the carring case too; planning 9n some camping trips in the summer.
I’ve owned the bonfire 1.0 and just recently ordered the shield so we could roast marshmallows and the heat deflector. I plan to use the bonfire more in 2024
Yes, I put a cover over it and leave it out on the patio. The small riser stand keeps it from creating any marks on the concrete. (Don't really know how hot it gets, haven't tested that) We always use it in the same spot, and there is no signs to show that's where we use it.
